  • Perfection

"My daughter got married near Lexington, and I needed a place convenient to the venue, and to Lexington, and I had to have something for longer than a weekend. Wow, did I ever choose right. Seriously I am so glad I found this place, and the owner was warm, friendly - southern hospitality at it's finest. The accomadations are impeccable, down to the minutest detail. I recommend the Carriage House to anyone wanting an extremely upscale relaxing place to stay. We plan on renting it again, and again, and again."

  • Loved our stay at Pleasantview House

"Our family, which included a toddler and baby, recenlty stayed for 5 nights at Pleasantview House in Wilmore, Kentucky. The house is beautiful, with every amenity avaiable for a relaxing vacation. Home was better than picture, clean, and well stocked with linens, kitchenware, and even a pack n play (for forgetful parents like me). The owners were a sweet couple, who we didn't get to speak to often, but were available if needed. Our vacation was more of a "business" vacation to explore for relocating, but we did enjoy visiting some of the local tourist areas such as KY Horse Park. My husband would highly recommend ordering a pizza from Tastebuds II in the town of Wilmore one evening and visit Sims Drugstore in Wilmore for a peanut butter shake. If ever in the area, we won't hesitate to rent Pleasantview House again!"

  • Home away from Home

"We travel often to Lexington and were tired of staying in hotels. We found this condo and it is exactly as pictured! Every convenience you need is at your fingertips. Super clean. Very quiet. The owner thought of everything a visitor would need. It truly feels like your very own second home. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the noises of downtown at night. But inside, we didn't hear anything! Amy is so easy to work with and responds quickly. We will be planning our trips to Lexington around this condos availability in the future. You will not be disappointed with this lovely home!"

  • A jewel in the midst of busy Lexington!

"My sister and I rented this beautiful Carriage House for a week. We were travelling in Kentucky for three weeks and staying here was the highlight of our trip. The house is on a busy street but you feel as though you are in an oasis of calm. The place was immaculately clean and the beds deliciously comfortable. We like to cook and the kitchen is large and well stocked. We highly recommend a stay here! And don't miss the fact that the owner of this beautiful Carriage House is a talented author! There is a book of his Appalachian Ghost Stories on the book shelf. My sister and I had spooky fun reading them to one another in the evening--and there is also a wonderful documentary to watch by this same author, called The Feuds of Breathitt County, which takes you into the heart of Appalachia, and the intriguing history around the feuds. We'll be back to this fabulous home as soon as we get a chance!"
