"Our choice to stay at the Palmer House, "Gracie" turned out to be the perfect space. What a wonderfully bright clean place with big rooms to spread out and cosy sitting areas to relax. Loved coming home after a delightful ski at Anthony. Plus only a few blocks to walk to the brewery for dinner, and wine bar. And if you dig on kitchen stores you won't want to miss the one downtown. We give "Gracie" an easy 5 stars for comfort, location and cleanliness. Can't wait to come back and stay again."

"Wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of our crowded city, we found this rental in Heppner. Neither of us had ever been to Heppner, so we thought, why not? We were very pleased with the unit. It was clean, well equipped and so roomy. Our biggest dilemma was which room to sleep in. We chose the downstairs room which accommodated our two large dog beds and still had PLENTY of room. The property was nicely secluded. Set amid rolling hills, wildlife was abundant. We had deer visit the apple tree daily and were treated to herds of deer and elk in the adjacent field. The neighbors horses came over daily to chat with our dogs. It was oh so quiet all day and all night. The yard is not completely fenced but is it so spacious and set back from the road, I was not concerned about the safety of my dogs. We relaxed, slept, ate, napped, relaxed, ate, slept…you get the idea. Internet service was great, no cell phone reception but there is a house phone. Satellite TV, lots of channels. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of everything. It was so nice to be able to sit on the front porch in our underwear and not worry about neighbors or passing cars. Highly recommend this rental if you need to relax and reconnect with friends and family. Loved this rental!"

"The view says it all. We have been to the lake many times thru the years, but this was our first in a house on the lake. The location and view are wonderful. Having a private dock worked well for us, as we brought our boat along. Fishing was on the agenda most days, as the guys were looking for bigger fish each time out. They did very well. The house is very peaceful and relaxing. Was great having 3 bedrooms. Enjoyed the lake/sun reflection on the bedroom ceiling in the mornings. The laundry area is large with full size machines, which was nice. Plenty of space in the living room to relax. Lots of board games available to use. The dinning area is also quite large. The kitchen could use a light above the stove. We made many meals during the week and were about to make what we wanted with everything we found to cook nice meals. Would be nice to have a screen on the windows in the bathroom and back bedroom to help keep bugs out. Our daughter loved the beecrowbee products in the bathroom and brought some of her own from the store in Joseph. They indicated to her that they know you! We truly enjoyed our stay and would come again. Could easily have stayed a second week. The owners were very available for any questions, with prompt responses. Even letting us know about a storm that had caused a power outage before our arrival. Yes ther are lots of stairs, but it did not slow us down. Thanks Again!"

"Enjoyed coffee on the front deck in the mornings. We walked and road our bikes every day. The cabin had more than enough room for our two families. Kitchen was a little hard to cook large meals for the two families. The open kitchen allowed for games around the kitchen table in the evenings. This was our 3rd summer to Wallowa Lake and we never seem to tire of the views and areas to explore."
