  • Great location, plenty of space, great yard and everything you need!

"I stayed last weekend with a group of 10. We had a great time! The house was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space inside and out. I definitely recommend it!"

  • Perfect Place to Stay

"I greatly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful unit! It was like staying in a brand new home - super clean, new appliances, etc. . The owner always responded to my questions quickly. I visit Horseshoe Bay every year and always rent from VRBO or stay at the Marriott and without a doubt, this is the best place to stay!!!"

  • Great Location, Great Apartment!

"Craig and Elaine were wonderful hosts and have a lovely apartment! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the kitchen was stocked with anything we could need. The patio was a perfect place for breakfast and was surprisingly private. The off street parking was wonderful, but we didn't move the car much. This apartment is very centrally located so we were able to walk quite a bit. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for 2 people. When I booked the property I loved that it was right on 6th street but not right on top of all the bars and night life. I like to be close enough to walk to it but return home and get a good night's sleep. There is a great restaurant next door, Z'Tejas and just beyond that was a bakery we bought breakfast a couple times and returned back to the patio to enjoy with tea and coffee. We were just 8 minutes drive from the bats, walked to restaurants/bars/shops, walked to the Whole Foods and were 15 minutes drive from The Broken Spoke (had to learn to 2 step in Texas). It was also convenient to hop on the highway to Hill Country. If we are in Austin again I would definitely book this property a second time."

  • Lovely spot on the Guadalupe!

"This place is wonderful. The cabin is very tidy and has exactly what we needed. It even has two bathrooms with outdoor access, which was perfect for coming in from a swim. It accommodates more than you'd expect from the size, and sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and Don's amazing homemade fountain was the perfect way to start and end the day. And the river access was amazing! My niece and nephew even went kayaking by themselves, and they are only 9 and 6! This is mainly because this small branch of the river wasn't a thoroughfare and didn't have the crazy traffic or a strong current--in fact the water was quite still. The rope swing was the best part. There are plenty of life vests and tubes and rafts as well. The swimming platform was also a big hit. Perfect for families. I'd definitely come here again the next time I'm lucky enough to be in the area!"
