  • Great Place

"We stayed the weekend of 4th of July. This is a wonderful place, quiet and roomy. We had 10 people in our party and had plenty of room. The wildlife was amazing...we saw deer, raccoons, groundhog, and fox. The decks are great where we spent most of our time. This is a great and quiet spot for r & r. The owners were very accomadating with all request.. and just wanted to mention the beds were super comfy.:)"

  • A Perfect Getaway indeed!

"My siblings and I (all born and raised in Clarksville, but now spread out over multiple states) were looking for a house that would allow all of us to gather together for Christmas since our numbers have outgrown Mom's house. What a fantastic house we found! The pictures do not do the roominess of the house justice. Twelve of us (the youngest being 15) had plenty of room and beds. We even talked Mama into spending a night there. Being a veteran vacation home renter (usually at the beach), I was truly amazed at Kay's generosity in things provided for our use. The kitchen is undoubtedly the most well supplied one I have ever experienced. Dish washing liquid, coffee, trash bags, spices, crock pots, coffee makers, and any cooking utensil that we needed were readily available. The laundry room was also well supplied. There was even a sewing supply container. There was a closet with games for all ages and puzzles in addition to the game room. The living room furniture was comfortable and the direct tv programming with some premium movie channels was a bonus. The lake area was very clean and quiet. We built a fire on the beach and cooked hot dogs and stayed warm while some fished from the dock and shoreline. The yard is large and there is even a swing set. The night sky was beautiful and some in the group (city folks) had never been where they could see so many stars in the sky. There were 2 dogs in the group and they enjoyed exploring the yard. The lack of internet was a bonus for us. It allowed some to really get away from their jobs, relax, and enjoy some down time. It was a most enjoyable long weekend. We will most definitely rent this house again. We were missing a sister and her family who will hopefully be able to join us next time (as we still had beds available). Thanks for the use of your home and a wonderful time, Kay! I will be in touch again."

"Humingbird Haven is exactly as described. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the openness of the kitchen and living areas. Thanks for opening your home so that we could have fun on Lake Kerr. We will definitely be back!"
