Grande cour avec grand stationnement et beaucoup d'espace pour les jeux de pelouse en famille. Grand nouveau pont enveloppant avec une vue spacieuse. Plan d'Ă©tage ouvert pour la cuisine, la salle Ă  manger et le salon. Le niveau principal dispose de 4 chambres (2 avec lits jumeaux, 1 avec lit queen, 1 avec lits jumeaux et lit gigogne) et 1. 5 salles de bains. Grande suite parentale Ă  l'Ă©tage avec lit king, grandes fenĂȘtres et salle de bain complĂšte. Douche extĂ©rieure fermĂ©e. Buanderie situĂ©e au sous-sol / garage. DeuxiĂšme rĂ©frigĂ©rateur / congĂ©lateur au sous-sol / garage. La cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e comprend un lave-vaisselle, une cafetiĂšre Keurig, un mixeur, un four micro-ondes et des ustensiles de cuisine. This was our fifth year staying at Scott and Ann's wonderful home. Each year, it gets better. The house is wonderful, Equipped with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a good sized family vacation. We love the deck, for sitting, dining and cooking on the grill. But most, we love the short walk (I do mean short) from the house to the most beautiful, private beach on the island. It's so close, you will fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. It's the most relaxing vacation imaginable.

As always, our stay at the Heineman house was delightful for 3 generations of our family. The house is clean, organized and well equipped with everything you might need, especially the kitchen and garage with beach gear and second refrigerator. We will return for a 7th. year for certain. The check-in and check-out procedure works well.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the upgrades at the house. You thought of everything!One suggestion re: lights on outside at night - maybe turn them off at 10pm or make them motion sensitive. Some shine into bedrooms.Loved being able to watch Wimbledon!

This place is full of love

Great house and amenities for many friends to eat frequently with the open kitchen to dinning room to porch allowing the cooks to participate in the fun. Beach fires popular, with lots of wood, on nearby beach.

I grew up in Queens, New York and my family has been making the journey out to Block Island since I was a baby. On this trip, in addition to my parents and my sister, we came with my sister‘s husband, my 2 1/2 year-old son and my wife, all three of which were having their first BI experience. It does not feel like an exaggeration to say that this home was/is an absolute heartwarming distillation of all of my favorite memories about visiting this very special place. Yes, there are logistical extras like bringing your own sheets and towels, andddd what you trade off is an incredible value, being welcomed into an incredibly warm home that clearly holds the memories of many many happy seasons on this island. It somehow both feels tucked away and close to everything. Highly recommend for a family escape.

It gets even better!

This is the fourth time my family and I have had the privilege to stay at Scott and Ann’s wonderful home. I didn’t think it could get better, but a remodel of the kitchen in the off-season has made it even better. (according to my wife, I’m not allowed in the kitchen) We had friends staying in different places around the island this year. When they came over to visit us and All marveled at the home, it’s location and the privacy. All said it was the best they had seen. This from people who’ve been coming to the island for decades! My wife is now searching for a sound machine that can match the sound of waves crashing on the beach as you lie in your bed. There is no substitute for the real thing. This property is the real thing.

Paradise revisited!

Once again, 5 years going now, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Heineman House. We especially appreciated the improvements made to the kitchen with new quartz counters, new painted cabinets, workstation sink and wall paint that lighten the space up. Love it!

BI Family Vacation

The house was ideally located within walking distance to Mansion Beach which is great for families with little ones to come and go as needed. The property was beautiful with a great yard and deck to enjoy when not at the beach. Outdoor shower is always a family favorite. A few things families with babies and toddlers might want to be aware of are the open cabinets in the kitchen as well as no bathtub and a glass coffee table. Otherwise plenty of room for the whole family. We had a great week and would recommend this property.

As Advertised!

We have stayed at this property for multiple years now and the location is truly everything... an easy 2 minute walk to Mansion Beach! The kitchen has been updated with a more efficient layout and great new appliances, everything you need for all of your cooking needs, and there is an extra fridge in the garage. (Both fridges have efficient ice makers.) The wrap around deck is spacious, lots of chairs, large dining table, great grill, and a stong gate to contain little ones. Fantastic outdoor shower. The spacious upstairs suite is private and comfortable...you can hear the waves crashing on the beach at night! The downstairs bedrooms are perfect for famlies with 2 baths to share. There are a lots of fans provided as it can get warm in the heat of the day. The hosts are incredibly responsive to any questions we had during our stay...great Wifi and outdoor speakers on the deck were a big plus. The yard is gorgeous, lots of shady spots on a hot afternoon and room for games and for kids to run around. We cannot wait to go back next year!

Always Great!

Once again, we had a perfect vacation! The house has everything you could need. The beautiful, unspoiled, beach is a three minute walk. If the surf is too high, the Great Salt Pond is a three minute drive. To sit on the deck listening to the waves crash while having coffee or cocktails is heaven. The only thing better is to fall asleep to the sounds. The property is private, but close to town; equally close to Clay Head and some of the best hiking on the island: and Andy's Way, with the best clamming (make sure you get a permit). BTW, the clam rakes are in the garage... A special place. One that my family looks forward to every year.

Wonderful home in amazing spot on Block Island

This was our fourth year staying at this fantastic home on Block Island. It has become such a wonderful tradition for our family. My 3 kids look forward to this vacation every year. The home couldn’t be more perfect. It’s warm and welcoming with an amazing deck to watch the sunsets while listening to the waves at the beach just a short distance away. The home is situated at Mansion Beach, which we consider the best beach spot on the island, and is tucked away in a nice quiet part of the island (but still just a short distance into town). The owners are so nice and have thought of everything from the kitchenware (we make pancakes most mornings) to the beach ware (chairs, games, etc.). I also love the music setup with bluetooth and indoor/outdoor speakers. You can tell you’re walking into a well loved home when staying here. We couldn’t be happier with the setup and the amazing time we have when visiting.

Best Kept Secret!

This is the third year we have stayed at this property and I cannot say enough about how wonderful it has been for our family! I think I say every year... location, location, location! "Walk to Mansion Beach" does not do the description justice as this year my 'now-one-year-older' grandchildren remarked that the path to the beach seems sooo much shorter! It seriously takes minutes! Ann and Scott know what a family needs for the perfect Block Island beach stay and have provided it all... boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys and towels, and a very cool wagon to carry it in! The kitchen is well appointed, we never said "I wish they had this or that..." and we loved eating all our meals on the spacious outdoor porch. My grandchildren call the outdooor shower their "summer shower" and almost no one showered indoors. There is a very large, flat and private yard for games, etc, and room for kids to run around. The upstairs is very spacious with a private bathroom and king bed that is quite comfortable, and all 4 of the other bedrooms are roomy with dressers and places to hang clothes. New washer and dryer and extra fridge in the garage make it quite easy for a large group. Everyone we encountered in the Minister's Lot neighborhood was so friendly and shared a great love for the area. If you want a house that feels like your very own beach cottage, this place is for you!

A Perfect Fit

We've been going out to Block for about 20 years and have stayed in several different places over the years. This was our 4th year staying at this location and it truly is a perfect fit for our 3 generations of family. The house is very comfortable and the 5 minute walk to Mansion Beach is ideal. It's always been one of our favorite beaches. Ann and Scott have always been wonderful to deal with. We're already looking forward to next year...

Perfect as usual!

This is the second time my family had stayed at Ann and Scott's wonderful home. It was as perfect this time as last year! It's about the best location on the Island – three minute walk to a beautiful, sandy, uncrowded beach; minutes from the Clay Head trail where you can test your strength and endurance with a hard workout, or take a leisurely stroll looking for Block Island Orbs. Everything you need will be provided. Beach towels, clam rakes, beach chairs and anything else for a day on the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, a six burner grill is on the deck. Washer and dryer are downstairs, with a full-sized refrigerator for extra storage. Best of all, as you will I down night go to sleep, you can clearly hear the waves crashing on the beach. There's no better sleep aid in the world! Thank you, Ann and Scott, for allowing our family to have a week of perfect. It's something they look forward to every year!

Family Memories

This house is made for family memories! The breakfast nook, the family room, the expansive deck and back yard all make this spot a wonderful gathering place for families. Everyone has plenty of bedroom space and there are plenty of bathrooms for all to have privacy. But what really makes this spot is the close proximity to Mansion Beach... seriously a 3 minute walk! The house is stocked with beach towels, chairs, toys, boogie boards and a cute old wagon to pull it all to the beach. The extra fridge in the garage is a bonus.

Truly home away from home

My wife and I have been utilizing extended-stay accommodations for years now. We've generally been pleased with the quality of these accommodations. But I have to say that this was the first time we felt that we were staying in a home, rather than a house. That's because it is Scott and Ann's home, and their love and care for it shines through. The location is perfect – a literal two minute walk to Mansion Beach, but down far enough from the public access that it is always uncrowded. It's a five minute drive or 10 minute bike to Old Town and New Harbor, and literally across the road from Andy's Way and the best clamming on the island. The home is big enough to accommodate large families, with King, Queen and twin beds enough for 10. All of the beds are comfortable, and everyone will be able to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The kitchen (and grill) have everything you need, and there are large dining tables inside and out. Speaking of out, the wraparound deck is perfect for relaxing with a morning cup of coffee or an evening drink. Don't be surprised if deer stroll through the spacious yard (be careful coming out of the outdoor shower, you might startle each other). My wife and her daughters, who accompany us each year, were unanimous that this was the best place we had ever stayed "on island". I agree wholeheartedly. Thanks to Scott and Ann for allowing us to share their lovely home.

Perfect spot for a family vacation

This was our 3rd year renting this house and we couldn't be happier with our experiences so far. The house itself is perfect; plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal space. Kitchen has everything you need for the week. The deck off the living area is huge. With an outdoor dining table, couches and grill we end up spending a lot of time out there. The BEST part of this house is it's location. Tucked back on a quiet dirt road it is far away from the hustle and bustle of the island. Just driving on the road to the house gives you the feeling of getting away from it all. There are no other visible houses once you're on the property. From the house it's a 2 minute walk down the road and down a path that opens on to Mansion Beach - maybe the best beach on the Island. The proximity and privacy of the road makes it feel like your own private beach (minus the other beach goers of course). And when you are done with the beach the outdoor shower at the house makes life much easier and gives the perfect beach house feel. All of this combined with Ann's (the owner) hospitality and communication make it the perfect getaway spot. Joel Cary

Wonderful...

This was our 2nd year at this wonderful house. It really is just a few minutes walk to Mansion Beach. The house is very accommodating with nice spaces and outdoor decks. It's very quiet. Not a lot of traffic goes by, and it's just a short drive to town. Ann and Scott are very easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next summer.
