Wow! I booked this for a girl's weekend and it did not disapoint. Tina was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. The commute to Asheville was around 10- 15 minutes which was perfect for us. The pool was phenomenal, a huge plus for us! If we are coming back to Asheville, we would stay here again!

We stay at a lot of rentals through VRBO. We never leave bad reviews because we normally have great experiences. This listing was extremely overpriced for a small mother in law suite. We could not get in when we arrived because the hosts were at friends house and apparently forgot we were coming. As we arrived during the tropical storm we were left outside with our bags and kids so we called the host 3 times and got her voicemail. We ended up leaving to get out of the rain. There was a lot made in the listing about the video games which are all scratched and dont work. Our kids were disappointed. The unit is full of personal items and family pictures and yet still lacked the nice touches like kurig cups, a welcome basket or instructions. For what ended up being a very costly rental, this unit was not worth the price. We could see that the listing was relatively new so we reached out and asked them to discount due to the poor check in and they did not even respond to our message.

Response from VrboOwner on Oct 14, 2026
I responded within 15 minutes of arrival. I have never received this kind of response in 10 years. There are tons of video games. There is absolutely no way they are all scratched. They were loud. Slamming doors constantly and used up extra linens and towels for more than they should have while there. It took me an entire day to clean up behind them. This rental is not small. It's over 1300 sf. I have never put the video gaming system as a feature or advertised as such. Many of their grievances could have been answered in advance had they done their due diligence. The gaming system is from my kids' childhood. Ps2 to be exact. They were looking for a reason to complain. They could have contacted me at any time prior to arrival for the code. I would have been happy to send in advance. Who waits until they arrive. They did not need to stand in the rain. Parking is right out back. They even complained about the pool being closed where it clearly states "Summer" under the pool picture. The rate hasn't been increased in over 10 1/2 years.
Everything was nice and as advertised. Kids loved the pool (although some runoff after a heavy rain literally "muddied the waters") and was a short enough drive to groceries, restaurants and activities.
