We were in Asheville for a baseball tournament. Everything was as advertised. Hot tub was important for our stiff bodies every morning. Dave is as friendly a host as I have ever encountered and we will stay again in the future.
We immensely enjoyed our stay here! The cabin is clean, plenty of room for our 2 families, and well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kind as well. We made a couple of requests and they were always quick to respond and willing to help. And being able to have our pup with us meant a lot! The property is absolutely beautiful with lots of exploring or relaxing and the views! Short drive to get groceries or head into Asheville for some shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you Ryan for your review. We hope to make your stay exceed your expectations. Please come see us again.
We loved this place. Traditional rustic cabin in the woods. Our hosts are on property and were amazing and couldn't have been nicer. Rooms were clean and plenty of space for two couples. We also had three medium sized dogs and there is a ton of room on the property from them to run. play and explore. Firepit is out back and they supplied firewood. Great touch as we brought our own but they had plenty. Only things that could be improved upon was that the stove in the cabin was not working but we let them know so that should be taken care of. And the hot tub needed to be cleaned out a little bit. Not too bad as we still used it but there was some dirt and sand in the hot tub and ringed around the edges. The cabin is also very close to many nearby trails as it is coveniently located. We would absolutely come back and we loved our hosts!!
Owner was very helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was there. Great hot tub and fireplace. Very clean. Will definitely return.

We got there and were greeted by the owner which was nice. However, he continued to pop by unannounced- even when we were in the hot tub. One day, he came by looking through out the cabin (into our rooms too) looking for some baby gate that wasn’t there. On Saturday and Sunday, the stove went out. They took 5 and a half hours to respond on Saturday (I texted and messaged on Vrbo (no response on Vrbo). It was raining all day Saturday and we wanted the stove to cook on. We also wanted breakfast before we left Sunday. Also, on Saturday the power went out on top of everything else and got we no response to this inquiry either.

When you first contacted me, my gut feeling was not to rent to you. I truly wished I had listened. We made sure we had all the things you asked for. We cannot predict when an appliance will fail. We cannot predict when the power will go out. We were working a hot tub festival that weekend out of town and responded as quickly as possible to your request. We did need a baby gate and I am sorry you were upset my husband looked for it. I think sometimes there are people who you cannot please and
I am sorry. We strive to exceed your expectations and judging from our past guests have done a great job. Like I said in the beginning of this response, I should have listened to my gut feeling.

We left 5 days early after the water pipes froze and colder weather was ahead. It’s a cabin that has lots of potential that could use a thorough cleaning, a good airing out and some maintenance. The hosts were very nice.
Our stay was great and worked out well for our family. We had a busy few days and would have loved to just enjoy the cabin and sitting on the porches enjoying nature.
Beautiful cabin on the exterior and interior with an updated kitchen. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Spacious but cozy environment. Great communication with the host David and it was lovely meeting his dog Bailey. Surrounded by nature, a perfect place for a getaway. Highly recommend!

Thank you So much for your review. We hope you will come back again.
The cabin fit our needs perfectly providing us room to hang out and enjoy one another’s company. Short drive into Asheville and Biltmore for sightseeing. All without breaking our banks.
Great cabin and friendly hosts. Very well appointed inside annd out. With the exception of the two bathrooms. Short of bath mats, soap, etc. Loved the already hot tub in deck after hiking in nearby Pisgah Forest.
We enjoyed Deer Haven completely! We are already booked to go back again. Thank you!
