Safi - a stone built villa with spectacular views through toward Kalkan

Villa Safi is located in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains near the village of Islamlar which is 3 km away - only 8 minutes by car.

This beautiful villa is made entirely of locally sourced stone and natural oak wood, and is one of two villas - neighbours, where you can escape from the stresses and strains of every day life and immerse yourself in this stunning location with magnificent views of nature and the sea.

The drive to the villa is uphill, a parking area is available and then after approximately 30 - 40 paces to the gate the villa is located up a few steps.

Entering the villa you will be amazed at how cool and airy the villa feels, this is due to the traditional stone that was used to build it along with the marble floors throughout, thus helping to keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The villa is well-equipped with a kitchen that is open plan to the beautiful lounge area with a stunning breakfast counter, large windows and patio doors provide you uninterrupted views to the outside natural scenery.

There is also a“Fitness Room with Sauna”, With two fitness machines - STR-40 an exercise tool with power adjustment mechanism and an Eco Plus Home Extension Bike there to compliment your stay.

Two bedrooms complete the villa - 1 x twin room on the ground floor and 1 x master double room on the first floor, both en-suite with shower, toilet and basin - the washing machine is located within the 1st floor bathroom.

Externally a marble and wrought iron staircase leads to the massive first floor veranda and master double bedroom suite, within the suite is a large jacuzzi pool with a window looking out over spectacular views, the patio doors to the veranda ensures that the amazing views are always there to be seen, the en-suite is fitted with glass sliding doors.

Safi has two private terraces/verandas, complete with a traditional Ottoman seating area on the top veranda and on the main terrace its own private infinity pool with screens for privacy, making it ideal for our more conservative guests, and sun loungers.

There is a separate undercover outside dining area with table and 4 chairs where you can enjoy al-fresco dining, plus a brick built BBQ and also a freestanding BBQ, here you can relax, de-stress and unwind whilst watching the sunset or sunrise, listen to the birds singing and maybe catch sight of some red squirrels in their natural habitat.

Except for the bathrooms, all rooms have air-con units and there is also free Wi-Fi.

Ideal for a romantic escape or just to enjoy the natural beauty of Turkey, even in winter months this villa is the perfect location, enjoy the indoor jacuzzi pool which can be heated and what could be better than cosying up in front of the open fire as you admire the stunning scenery.

Kalkan - with its wonderful shops and plentiful restaurants, some with roof terraces and some that are tucked away in the side streets. Bookings for restaurants is essential if you want that particular restaurant on that particular night, especially in July, August and September.

The Beach and Harbour where boat trips regularly leave for both daytime and sunset cruises, advanced booking is essential especially during the months of July, August and September.

There are numerous Beach Clubs, the majority with boats that will take you from the harbour to their club, some with water sports, and some with a swimming pool, we even have a beach club that has film nights and yoga sessions for your enjoyment. Advanced bookings are essential, especially during the months of July, August and September.

We can help you with all your transfers, trips and other bookings that you require - bookings for restaurants, boats and beach clubs is obviously dependent upon their availability.
There is a £40 charge for guests arriving after 8pm, unless they are being collected by our airport transfer service, this to be paid in advance of arrival at the property.
