About Jordanne Perkins
I purchased this property in 2004 and fully renovated it in 2009/2010. My original intent was that it was to be my dream home. A small, intimate property with everything you need and desire to enjoy island life. I kept everything from the original property that I was able to keep to continue the original plantation energy of the home such as the beadboard ceiling and walls. The home is fully double wall insulated with new windows to keep the sound of the roosters at bay for a lovely night sleep. Due to falling in love, I now live in Maui but, since we fell in love in Lana'i we have chosen to keep this special property to share with other like minded individuals who desire to fall in love with the island as much as we did. I am a successful artist who is married, owns the Jordanne Gallery in Makawao, Maui and has two young children. I have been a successful artist since 2003 where I spent years from 2002-2012 showcasing my artwork at The Four Season Hotels on Lana'i and residing in this special home for many of those years. Please take a look at my website for more info. www.jordannefineart.com

Why Jordanne Perkins chose Lanai City
This home is a special home away from home. Close to town, close to wonderful amenities and lovely vistas and fun expeditions. A wonderful, quiet, safe place to enjoy your evenings and days when not exploring the island. A perfect oasis within a fully fenced property which creates privacy for both an intimate couple of 2 or families or friends to be together under one roof to share in the Lana'i peacefulness. There is no other home which is like this and created with such love, attention to detail, Lana'i stone, Lana'i elements, and artistic design while continuing to hold true the original 1930's plantation feel which is a special part of staying in Lana'i City. When the home was renovated even the additional ceiling was hand created in order to keep the original ceiling in tact. Please enjoy fully this special property. Mahalo! - Jordanne

We love “old Hawai’i” and really felt like we had gone back 50 years!
Such a nice, well appointed house. Great location, we walked most of the town each morning sunrise.
Great kitchen, great BBQ, the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation (including the Four Seasons!).
Great adventures in Bart’s Jeep. Local folks were sooo nice. We look forward to our next visit.
Live like a local here! You will love it.
Spacious and well-equipped.
This home is clean, private, and spacious. There is a helpful in area caretaker in case of any problems. Great for a couples retreat or an entire family. Washer/dryer large and essential. Off-roading, hiking, beaches, and local culture and cuisine all highlights.
Aloha Laura and Paul,
Thank you so much for your genuine words of both the home and Lana'i. Thrilled you loved both and I hope next time you will book again!
Lanai "Artist" hāle
The hāle (house) on Lanai is a feast for the eyes and the amenities and the art work hanging on the walls were so nani (beautiful). Pictures depicting the places and feel of Lanai. Besides the main house there were another unit so perhaps possibility of accommodating a larger group of guests.
If you are new to the island Jordanne is a thoughtful hostess who will provide information on jeep rentals (a must) and sights to visit or dine at.
Mahalo Jordanne in taking care of Kanani!
Aloha! Thank you for the enjoyment of the home. The other unit is actually not part of the rental but, thank you for enjoying the main rental home, the artwork and the specialness of the home and property. We hope to have you again.
Very clean, nicely decorated house with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Communication with owner was very good. Property is well-known by the locals. Short walk to grocery store and downtown area. Limited restaurant choices in Lanai. Would return to this house.
Thanks so much for your 4 night stay! I am glad that you had a wonderful time at the home. The home is one that is well known with the community as it underwent such a dramatic renovation to make it the oasis it’s known for! Looking forward to you coming back next week.
Comfortable cottage in Lanai City
Two couples shared the home and enjoyed the space, amenities, and discovering the Island. Jordanne was responsive and helpful with our booking and inquiries about the home and island. Accommodations are limited on the Island (unless you can afford to stay at the Four Seasons!) and we felt fortunate to have such as serene base for our explorations.
It was a pleasure hosting you. I’m so glad you had a comfortable stay and had everything you needed and more. The home is definitely special and one of the best rentals on the island and I’m glad you agreed! Mahalo!:)
Charming Property in Lanai City
What a treat to be able to stay here after our canoe voyage from Maui! Just what we needed to rest and relax before our return. Close to town square, but very private and charming. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy the Artists House Jordanne!

Take a day or two to spend at Manele Bay, Hulopoe Beach - the most comfortable day beach with restrooms, picnic tables, bbq areas with a wonderful snorkeling reef, walk to Sweetheart Rock and even tide pools to check out some Hawaiian reef fish personally! The Four Seasons Hotel is a wonderful spot to eat some dinner or have a wonderful lunch. There is a free community pool, tennis courts and even golf that is only about a 10 minute walk away.
