Lahaina Baby Beach Place, a 4-bedroom, 2 bath home offers all the best of Maui. We also have an additional blow up queen mattress. Our max. sleeping capacity is up to 10 (8 adults and 2 children under 5).Please ask us for more details to see if we are a good match for your party. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Baby Beach, downtown Lahaina, the Cannery Mall, Safeway, Foodland, and many amazing local restaurants. The home is decked out with a private pool and BBQ. It provides large decks with daybeds for lounging, reading, meditating or just taking in the views of the West Maui mountains, the famous Lahaina sunsets, and a variety of birds and flowers – and that’s just on the outside.
As you enter from the downstairs you find a serene, yet comfortable living area with a large screen television, two elegant daybeds, travertine floors with rich and colorful rugs. The room shares an open area with the fully-equipped kitchen, including a full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, island/bar that seats 4, filtered drinking water and ice system, and has a full compliment of cooking utensils, dishes, cookware, and serving bowls. The master bedroom comes with a king size bed outfitted with an organic memory foam mattress and organic sheets and pillows. There is an air filtration system, ceiling fan, and air conditioner as well to complete the package that earns this room the title of “Sanctuary.” The first floor guest bedroom has its own air conditioning unit and ceiling fan, along with a queen size bed that overlooks and opens out onto the pool. The guest room is tastefully decorated in subdued and pleasant tones, lending itself to a relaxing night’s sleep atop the memory foam mattress pad . The bathroom boasts luxurious travertine showers and floors, modern fixtures, and the added bonus of a makeup area with an oversized mirror.
For a completely unique experience, you can climb the antique spiral stairway to the second floor where you will encounter a “beachy-chic” ambiance. The wide open room with vaulted ceilings offers a super comfortable sitting area, flat screen TV, a fully-stocked 3/4 kitchen with its own refrigerator, and a cozy dining table that seats 4. The master bedroom on this floor is light and airy and bursting with color. From the Bali mermaid that hangs over the king size bed to the turquoise accents, the room radiates a tropical vibe in harmony with this beach house home. For ultimate comfort, this room also has its own air conditioning unit and ceiling fan. The guest bedroom overlooks the pool and offers the same tropical mood as the master, but with a queen sized memory foam bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning unit for supreme sleeping comfort. The bathroom is spacious and elegant with travertine showers and floors and a full view mirror for making sure you look your best before heading to Lahaina for a stroll downtown.
This eco-friendly, solar powered, low/no voc paradise retreat is located within one minute walking distance from Baby Beach, a top choice for the locals of Maui. It’s popularity is derived from the fact that the water is almost always warm, calm, and suitable for swimming. It is also reef-protected water, which creates amazing snorkeling and child-friendly conditions. The home is in a private and quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance to downtown Lahaina with its restaurants, galleries, ice cream shops, and myriad of stores. From the wharf in Lahaina, you can also catch the ferry to nearby Lanai or go for a whale watch on one of the many daily excursions. There is ample private, off-street parking for two vehicles. If you choose not to rent a car, there is a bus system that is very affordable and taxi services. For those of you who would like to meet the locals, Maui now has a network of Uber drivers who can get you to your destination and fill you in on some “must see” sights.

SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS STIPULATED BY MAUI COUNTY AS A CONDITION OF SHORT-TERM (vacation) RENTAL PERMIT/LICENSE:
a) Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area;
b) Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited;
c) Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street;
d) No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur; and
e) Occupancy is for 2 guests per bedroom including children of all ages.

About Moana Diamond
Although I currently live in California, this vacation retreat was my family's home for a few precious years. We recently remodeled it after obtaining our Short Term Vacation rental license (STWM 2013/0007) with the intention of making a beautiful , eco-friendly and healthy environment for travelers. We have plans to continue renovations that will make this property the completely unique "get-away" that we envisioned from the start.

After years of vacationing on Maui, as my personal retreat and restore haven, I was making my usual, almost daily visit to hang out at Baby Beach. There was a "for sale" sign on the house at the corner. I could not resist buying the property.
What makes this House unique
From the minute the we closed on the home, it became one of my absolute favorite places in the world. It provides a front row seat to a quiet , tranquil, not-too-crowded yet centrally located treasure of a beach. It holds precious memories of my mom, who has since passed away, and it is my touch point with Maui, which I've always considered my home.

Great place. The family loved it!
Great place. The family loved it! We had a group of eight adults and two children. The house fit us perfectly and we especially love the pool. It’s located about a 1 minute walk from the beach and the beach is beautiful. House is in great shape and had everything we needed. Good location, within walking distance to town. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Fantastic Family Adventure
My husband and I took our adult children to Maui. We took our son and his wife, another son and his girlfriend, and our daughter. The "kids" range in age from 23 to 29. We had a blast. The house was super clean, beautiful and close to everything. We walked to town every day. We snorkeled at Baby Beach and saw a seal sleeping on the beach. We cooked a few meals and ate on the outside lanai. It was so fun to float around in the pool. We laughed all week. The kids loved the house! I would recommend Sail Maui for a snorkel trip. The staff was great and we saw lots of whales. We also road bikes down the volcano with Maui Sunriders. It was one of the least expensive options and they let you go at your own pace. You don't have a guide. You don't need a guide. It is easy to find your way down the mountain and back to Paia.
Beautiful Home, Fantastic Location!
We stayed here in late Feb 2018. It was absolutely amazing! We traveled with a total party of 10; 4 adults 6 children/teens. There is so much room, that we never felt on top of each other. The pool area, the patio, the living room, the loft, and my favorite, the second story covered deck. Open the doors and enjoy the beautiful breezes with ZERO mosquitoes! All places that people can be relaxing without being in a bedroom, all offering space. The layout and decor make you feel welcome and at home. Good luck feeling that way at a hotel. We shopped at Safeway just down the street and on multiple nights used the Weber grill, again cooking for 10 people EASILY! The center of Lahaina is a short walk down the street, but far enough to be separated from the bustle of the town. Baby beach is very nice and was a great place for us to literally get our feet wet snorkeling in the area with plenty of fish and turtles to see. It is literally 150 steps to the beach (I counted). On other days, we ventured out to snorkeling at Oneloa and Black Rock (and did some cliff jumping). Also went whale watching with Pride of Maui, zip lining at Piiholo Ranch, and driving up to the Haleakala Crater. Highly recommend all of those! February is guaranteed whale sightings. I can't count how many we saw. Also, be sure to put your head underwater and LISTEN TO THE WHALES. I couldn't believe it. Absolutely stunning! We spent 7 days and it felt like we lived a lifetime in those 7 days. I feel funny thanking someone that I paid for a rental, but THANK YOU Moana for sharing your home with us. It was a trip of a lifetime for us that we WILL somehow find the way to do again. We will be talking about this trip for the rest of our lives with the fondest memories. I have zero regrets choosing this home and would do it again tomorrow if I could.

Great place close to beach downtown
Great location and plenty of space for large group
My husband and I took our 3 adult kids and spouses and 2 grandsons ages 8 & 4, for Christmas break. Everyone had their own bedroom with upstairs space for a blow up mattress for the boys. The property is within walking distance to a grocery store, downtown Lahaina shops and restaurants. Baby Beach was priceless. Enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Went there everyday for several hours. Property came equipped with sand toys, chairs, boogie boards and umbrella with a wagon to pull it in. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.
Great House on a Quiet Street Next to the Beach
We are urban animals and on our vacation to Hawaii, we were challenged at how to find an alternative to the resort experience while still maintaining a semi-urban, walkable experience. Well, this is it. Lahaina is a real town and Moana's Baby Beach house is the perfect lodging to provide walkability both to town and beach (a few steps in the case of the beach) while still giving the space we crave with a house rental. To top it off; there is a pool, which the kids (and dad) loved as a non-sandy beach alternative (because you don't always want to get sandy and salty when you need to cool off).
The house has four great bedrooms; each with AC (important in the summer) and the two bathrooms are large and updated. The main kitchen is highly functional and has a walkout to the shady dining table on the patio. It is a little awkward having to climb the spiral staircase to get upstairs but that is really the only drawback to this lovely and clean house. It is literally a 30 second walk across the street and down the path to Baby Beach and while not large; Baby Beach is calm and casual, providing both snorkeling from shore AND beautiful sunsets with a view of Lanai alongside. We walked to the commercial district of town for meals and in the other direction to the four awesome restaurants adjacent to the Mala boat ramp. These are across from the small mall and the 24 hour Safeway store. All of this walkable if you want to do so!
Bottom line: this is a great house and recommended by us -- multiple VRBO renters in many different vacation spots. Go for it!

There is an 8 person maximum and if additional guests are accepted there will be an additional charge per person of $100 per day. It is absolutely non- smoking and cleaning up( smoke remediation) will be done professionally and charged back to guest from their Damage Protection including exterior damage or waste such as cigarette butts.
