Ohh yes, those pesky south Florida millipedes sometimes show up in the spring season. We can assure you the house is deep cleaned throughly prior to each traveler visit but perhaps they found their way in during your stay. Thankfully they are harmless but we completely agree, they are not enjoyable! We always suggest keeping the doors closed when possible. It also helps to keep the sidewalks and walkways clear of debris, which we work hard to keep up as well. Our apologies if they appeared during your stay. We will work on remedying this for all our future travelers as well!

In regard to the backyard privacy, we understand how important that is to our guests. New neighbors moved in just a few weeks ago, and we only recently became aware of the issue. We are actively working on installing a privacy fence to restore the sense of seclusion our guests expect—rest assured this will be addressed promptly. As for the pool deck, because it is in direct sunlight throughout most of the day, there can be some surface heat and minor settling over time. We are currently in the process of evaluating and scheduling improvements to ensure it is safe and comfortable for all guests, including children. We also regret that your request for compensation did not meet your expectations. We always aim to resolve concerns as fairly and transparently as possible, and we’ll take your experience into account as we continue to improve both the home and our communication. Shameka, we're very sorry to see you went about your review this way. However, I want to make it very clear what occurred. During your entire stay, our team was at your disposal, both on VRBO and on the phone, speaking with you many times. On the first call when our team reached out to you, you immediately demanded a refund due to the trash being on the curb on trash day and you also sent a picture of dust on the exterior of the window outside the house which was caused by the road construction being done by the city. You then threatened to leave a negative review if you didn't get a refund. When that didn't happen, you left us a one-star review for our property that is very well liked by our previous guests.

I was suprised to see your comment about the kitchen, as I know we were in regular communication, and I was not aware of this at all. We would have happily sent our cleaner back out to take care of any cleanliness issues you may have noticed. The same goes for the BBQ, we are always available for any comments or requests to make our guests stays better. I have brought this comment to the attention of our cleaning team to be sure they did a thorough cleaning of the kitchen area upon your departure.
