Stunning 3 bedroom/2 bath log cabin sleeps 10 and is situated atop a secluded woodland knoll in the rolling foothills just west of Kalispell. Property features 15 acres of private forested surroundings, abundant wildlife, and incredible views across the Flathead Valley to the distant mountain peaks of Glacier Park and the Swan Range. The cabin’s spacious wrap-around porch/deck and the striking 2-story wall of windows will immerse you – inside or out - in everything that represents the true Montana vacation experience. This getaway country home is a short 15 minute drive to Kalispell - and therefore convenient to all that the Flathead valley offers. Your quiet retreat will welcome and soothe you following each day of discovering and experiencing the valley's endless variety of available outdoor activities, shopping options, entertainment offerings, and dining choices.

Our relaxing home features an airy living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with large breakfast bar, 2 main floor bedrooms with queen beds and shared bath, a cozy and spacious upstairs loft affording a commanding view of the surrounding forest and mountains, and an upstairs master suite highlighting a unique king-size log bed, spacious private bathroom with tub and separate shower, and an intimate private deck for watching our reliably colorful summer evening sunsets.

Updates include fresh new hardwood and tile flooring throughout, new bathroom and kitchen countertops, new furnishings and accents including all new mattresses, and a spacious separate laundry room. Multiple features and amenities inside and out provide activities for all ages. These include a flat screen TV and associated video components in main living area. An extra refrigerator for those larger gatherings, outdoor fire pit, horseshoe pit, a shady rope hammock for two, corn-hole game set, various board games, large movie selection, and lots of porch and deck space for simply relaxing and taking in the sights, sounds and smells of Montana.

There’s not enough space here to list all the wonderful amenities of this Kalispell cabin on 3 acres and its central location to many of the world-class in this area of Montana. If you are planning a trip to hike in Glacier National Park or water sports at Flathead Lake, this cabin is an ideal place to call home.

The Perfect Hid Away Get Away

The home is gorgeous! It has everything needs to be comfortable during your stay. The wildlife there visited us daily (deer and wild turkey), We even caught a glimpse of a bobcat. The home is close enough in everything needed and places to go but yet still gives you the privacy and seclusion if you’re looking for that. The host are so nice and helpful with great communication. Will def stay there again.

Family Summer Fun 2025

All 11 of us arrived from New York, California and Washington to spend time together. We were able to arrange an early entry and had a lovely 5 day visit. Beautiful setting with amazing vistas and wildlife around us. This was such a beautifully renovated cabin that my family and I shared and built so many fond memories. The laughter and bonding was priceless. I will definitely be back to stay. Our family enjoys both summer and winter outdoor activities, of which the Flathead Valley offers endless possibilities. After initially visiting and then often returning to Kalispell for multiple vacations, we decided to make it our second home. We purchased this property due to its proximity to so many activities and places we enjoy, and due to the peaceful seclusion and comfort it affords us following busy days of exploring this wonderful area.

What makes this property unique

This property is tucked away in a secluded and elevated 15 acre forest setting , allowing visitors to enjoy a remote getaway experience while still being just 2 miles off Highway 2 (west) and a short 15 minute drive to Kalispell. The peaceful setting, the frequent wildlife visits, and impressive valley and mountain views can all be enjoyed inside or out due to generous porch/deck space and an amazing interior floor plan that keeps you immersed in the surrounding beauty.
