Please ensure all doors & windows are closed & locked. Safe travels home & we hope you return! :-)

Great Stay at Shipwatch

Our family had a great stay at Beverly's Shipwatch condo. Everything worked well, the condo is in great condition and well appointed for a week stay. Beverly is very responsive and was an excellent hostess. Would definitely recommend to other future guests!

We have been coming to Amelia a fair amount the last few years and this has been my favorite beach condo. Super clean and organized, great views, responsive host! What more can you ask for?

Beds great and plenty of room!

This property is better than it looks in the pictures! There is plenty of room to spread out and the bathrooms are a nice size. The beds were really comfortable as well!! I can't speak for the walk to the beach as it was too cool for that but the view was great. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place

Check in after 4 takes a day away from the stay check out at 11. It was very spacious and having 3 bathrooms for 4 adults and 2 teens was a blessing! Fully equipped kitchen was very helpful! The pool was a great alternative to being at the beach all day!

What an AMAZING PROPERTY

Eight of us enjoyed five nights in this lovely condo. Beverly was responsive to questions prior to the trip. Condo is beautifully decorated, kitchen is well stocked, and beds are very comfortable. Short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the pool. We are definitely considering this place for our trip next year. Highly recommend!

Great Couples Getaway

Three couples stayed in this beautiful condo and it was perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room to spread out and each couple had thier own bedroom. The beach chairs and umbrella came in very handy. Several updates have been made since the pictures. The condo is very tastefully decorated and was not cluttered. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful Christmas retreat

This is an absolutely perfect place to spend time with children and grandchildren. End unit, perfectly maintained, in a building where attention is paid to order and cleanliness everywhere. Splendid view of ocean from north to south. We had 6 adults and 2 grandchildren under 5, and no one was ever crowded. Can’t say enough about entire experience; it was simply glorious!

Had a wonderful week in Amelia. The locker on the bottom floor with chairs, umbrellas, etc. made all the difference in the world. Only comment is the outdoor grilling area lights do not work.

Beachfront Perfection

We spent a long weekend at "Life is Good at the Beach", and it was simply perfect. Beverly has decorated this beautiful condo to sheer perfection, and has ensured that everything is in perfect order. The arrival process was quite simple, and the access from the elevator was flawless. Our view of the beach was magnificent from the well furnished deck, and the kitchen provided us with every amenity required to cook in when we weren't out enjoying the fantastic local restaurants. This property is truly a slice of heaven!

Absolutely lovely!

Our family (3 couples) beach getaway was everything we hoped for at Beverly’s lovely condo. The drive in among the over hanging trees and Spanish moss was just the beginning to the beauty we enjoyed. The views are spectacular and the grounds and condo were immaculate. The walk to the expansive beach is literally a minute away. We enjoyed walks on the beach, fishing, horseback riding, pooling it, and many great restaurants in downtown Fernandina Beach. We will definitely return. Thank u Beverly for sharing your lovely home.

Friends reunion

This was the perfect choice for 3 couples, as each bedroom had a bathroom. Lovely decor and amenities as described. Good directions and parking, entry instructions from owner. Cleaners still there at arrival time ( no way to get earlier checkin) and some items left undone. (Dishwasher not emptied, beach towels still in dryer. ) ocean view beautiful and pool area convenient. Overall a great reunion! Thanks

My husband, Joe, and I love a good beach vacation! Unfortunately so many places have become so over commercialized. We loved the unspoiled beaches of Amelia Island (especially in the Omni Resort development where we are located) that we decided to buy our place. Our goal is to some day move there when we retire. Until then, we love sharing our place to allow other beach goers to have an incredible beach vacation. I love hosting and try to pay attention to the smallest of details. I encourage guests to call me with any questions so I can help to make their vacation a special, memorable one!!

Why they chose this property

We had been looking to buy a beach home for awhile. We searched all along the gulf coast, west coast and east coast of Florida before visiting Amelia Island. We noticed immediately that this area was different from the rest. The people are so welcoming and friendly, the beaches are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the downtown Fernandina area for shopping and dining. The easy access to the Jacksonville airport makes it easy to get in and out. There is also an executive airport on Amelia Island.
There is a relaxed, small sea-side town feeling to the area that we love! We definitely fell in love with the Omni Plantation Resort area and all of the amenities that it has. It is so beautifully landscaped, and has incredible restaurants and shopping opportunities, golf, bike/walking trails, golf cart trails, miniature golf, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding and don't forget THE BEACH!

What makes this property unique

We looked at numerous places on the island but knew immediately when we walked into 1370 Shipwatch that our search was over. This condo was THE ONE. The views from the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom are beautiful, we really like the open and spacious floorplan, and the upgrades throughout are wonderful. There is a King Sized Bed in the Master Bedroom, a King Sized bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 queen beds in the large 3 bedroom (same size room as the master). We enjoy the gorgeous sunrises from the large balconies off the LR/DR and also the private master bedroom.
