The people at the camp are very nice, friendly, and helpful. The house was beautiful, clean, has alot of room. It was private and peaceful and close to everything or just a short drive.
Great place to stay, clean and supplied well. Had fun with everyone staying at the house and being able to come and go when we need to. Nine people slept comfortably and had lots of room. Thank you so much! Will totally stay here again. Close to National Parks, Salt Creek, Lake Crescent, Madison Falls and more.
We stayed for 2 nights at this comfortable home as part of a family trip post Covid. The house was clean, extremely comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The owners were extremely helpful in providing tips of things to see and do in the area. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit the Olympic Peninsula.
So much room, love the location. 2 full bathrooms, & a toilet in the laundry room on the 1st floor.Very cozy. Outdoor firepit, grill, smoker, inside fireplace, good kitchen utensils. Coffee pot, spices, no ice maker
We really enjoyed our family time in this comfortable house. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Well supplied large kitchen for cooking together. The RV park adjacent is quiet and the kids liked the outdoor spaces and visiting the horses. The staff were friendly and helpful. We're glad we found this place.
This PNW farmhouse delivered. While not luxurious, it was clean and very comfortable. My young daughters and I were enchanted with the beach-themed decorations and loved the shells and other nature items on display throughout the home. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back if we travel again to the area.
The house is big, with a closet full of games, there are DVDs, a piano (!) a fire pit, an outdoor game, a nearby playground and best of all, a large pile of gravel which magically attracted the little ones. There is something for everyone. And the entire Olympic Peninsula and all its attractions are nearby. Great place for a family reunion.

Very woodsy- nature all around! The house is decorated so lovely with rustic vibe with a touch of class. Everything we needed was provided especially the kitchen! Beds were comfortable- slept so good after our hikes everyday. House is so roomy and perfect for our family. Love the piano- myself and our son play. Overall, we would come back! Enjoyed Olympic National Park so much- it’s stunning beauty and magnificent nature.
We stayed at this property to spend time with family and hike in national park.
Good stuff:
Pellet grill not gas which was good and we were provided more pellets
Beds were all pretty comfy
Kitchen worked well
Fire pit was a nice touch
Big yard area just outside for kids to play in
RV park has more places to play
Not great stuff:
Wi-Fi worked but seemed slow and we had some connection issues. Not intolerable but somewhat annoying.
No dishwasher but that was known in advance.
All in all it was really a great spot and well worth the price.
When the television did not work they came and found someone had moved wires around. When the internet did not work they had someone come and discover previous person had unplugged it in another area.

Thank you for your review and staying with us! And thank you for your patience for the weird little wire issues. We will have to be sure to have house cleaning check those things from now on to make sure the previous guests restored things properly! Hope to see you again and appreciate you!
My family of eleven stayed here prior to a cruise out of Seattle for four nights. I chose this house because of its proximity to Olympic National Park and other recreation areas close by. This house has its quirks and is not luxurious by any means, but the overall experience of staying here can't be beat. The house has nice big bedrooms and comfy beds and the kitchen is well-equipped. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived late at night and the check-in went smoothly. The owners, who manage the RV park are extremely helpful and as nice as can be. We loved the fire pit outside and had a great fire every night with loads of free fire wood. The setting is lovely with plenty of places to walk and explore. The owners have a garden and share all the goodies with everyone. We loved the ambience and had four great days exploring Washington from this house. If you need to stay in the Ritz Carlton while on vacation, this house is not for you. If you love the outdoors and interacting with friendly people and nature, you will love this spot.

Thanks so much for your review. We really did try and create a great ambience with this older structured home, and we are so glad that you felt it. Little touches of love for decoration and upgrades here and there. We continue to improve all the time and are thankful for great guests like yourselves. Chris
Rustic but clean. Well stocked kitchen though no dishwasher. Located next to a large RV Park but it is very quiet. Owners and office staff were very helpful recommending day trips. Located about 15 min. west of Port Angeles and very close to Olympic attractions like Madison Falls and Sol Duc. Downstairs king and queen beds very comfortable. Upstairs beds a bit soft and not as comfy for adults. Great location for visiting Olympic. And stop at nearby Grannys west on 101 for excellent take-out foods.
Great Location for Exploring Olympic National Park
What a fantastic place to stay, it was a cozy home filled with all the right things to make memories. The beds were comfortable and the amenities great! Loved the location for its ability to be a great launching point to get to Olympic National Park or the ocean. We loved it here and hope to be back soon.
The one thing that was a bummer was internet speed, it wasn't the best, but I think it was shared among the RV park. Just be warned if you're looking to do some remote work over the weekend or busier weeks. A minor issue, as we were there for the sights, not the streaming!
We chose this house because it was closer to the Olympic Park and it was great. The house was totally functional. And everyone enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The big yard with lots of yard games was great. I'd definitely recommend it.

David and Chris manage this property and campground resort with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They say it still feels like yesterday when they searched over a year to find the perfect property. "It was hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems we do: It has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around. Mountain peaks stand in the distance and the splendor of the forest, lakes, waterfalls, Strait of Juan De Fuca and ocean are mere minutes away. A Victoria, BC international experience is just a boat ride away and all around you is a community of service that suits a family's needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place."
