Hi Rebecca: Thanks so much for your review. I am glad you enjoyed yourselves. It sounds like you had a great time. I just finished a $75,000 renovation to the house. I am sure you saw and enjoyed the new floors, kitchen, bathrooms, beds, etc. But vacation properties are always a work in progress and I am glad the progress I have had so far, played such a nice role in your 30 hour visit. You were a satisfactory guest and next time you will have to stay long enough to really see what the house is like and what the area has to offer. Have a great summer. Patrick

Hi Tess: Great to have you. And I am glad you enjoyed your stay. My listing does not indicate a "hideaway bed". I am not sure why you thought there was one there. So, my apologies for any confusion. I could have cleared that up for you with a text or email. I also had the canoe out on the lake this morning and didn't see a hole or experience one. I was fishing in it for over an hour. Hi Rich Thank you for your review. While I knew you and your family would be a challenge, I very much appreciated your stay and trying to meet that challenge. Regarding the loss of power, in your review you did not mention the loss of power was only two hours in duration; it occurred on the morning you were due to check out. You also did not mention the considerable storm that occurred the night before which cut power to the entire area, not just my house. The power loss was due to the utility company trying to repair the lines. While I perform a lot of special things for my guests, controlling the weather or the utility company have not quite yet made it to my bag of guest satisfaction miracles. And I was not expecting such an exacting request for money over the loss of power for such a brief period of time. It was also not accurate that you could not cook, shower, etc. as the power was restored some two hours prior to your departure. I did understand your frustration with the loss of power and the extra 15 minutes you had to wait for the housekeeping service to prepare the house for your stay. I did offer you a late check out to help with the loss of power and to make your check out a smooth one. It is infrequent that the house and the area loses power. So, as of now, I have not researched the need for such an expensive addition to the property such as a generator. Such an addition would effect the competitive base of the rent being charged, a feature which factored prominently in why you choose my house for your brief stay to begin with. I did enjoy having you and appreciated your selection of my house for your stay. Challenging guests make me a better host, make the house a better place to visit and as you noted, it is a great place to stay in the Poconos at a very affordable cost. Safe and happy travels. Patrick
