Come enjoy the beautiful southern Oregon coast at this spacious three bedroom/three bath house perched on ocean front property, just south of the Brookings Harbor, Brookings, OR. It has an expansive deck that invites sunbathing, with private stairs (with built in viewing seats as you ascend/descend) leading down a secluded driftwood strewn beach. At low tide, enjoy an easy stroll along the beach (sea shell hunting and tide pools galore) all the way to the harbor jetty, only about one mile away.

Our oceanfront home offers a large great room with a huge hand-crafted stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling ocean views, game/card table, and bumper pool table. We just completed our kitchen renovation with brand new custom cabinets, granite counter tops, tile flooring & backsplash, and all new stainless steel electrical appliances. About Premier Properties

We are an active family now living in California but spending our free time at our family beach house on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.

Premier Properties purchased this house in 1980

Why Premier Properties chose Brookings

Our family was originally from the Medford area and we grew up vacationing at the Oregon coast. The appeal of the southern Oregon coast keeps us dedicated to vacationing here. We don't feel there is a more beautiful coast line and it has none of the California crowds. It is also close to several nationally recognized redwood forests and to the renowned wild and scenic Rogue River. So we get it all...ocean views, beautiful redwood hikes, and lots of river adventures!

What makes this house unique

We think you will agree, our wonderful beach house really showcases the Oregon coast in a memorable way. Because it sits out on a bluff overlooking the ocean below, you loose sense of any other houses surrounding you - it is just you and the ocean views. The house offers one of the largest decks, with tons of room for your family and guests to sprawl in the sun overlooking the Oregon coast. Our private staircase leaves directly from the deck and takes you straight down to the sand. The house is located only about 1 mile from the harbor, which keeps you close to the town and restaurants. In fact, at low tide you can walk the length of the beach to the harbor for some ice cream! Lastly, with our 3 large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, we can offer your family and friends plenty of private space too! There are very few places where you can actually fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves; this is one of them! Come experience the Oregon coast first-hand!

Guestbook comments from the owner

From one of our guests:

There are few profound experiences in life that you know, the minute you partake you are apart of a magical encounter. Standing on the deck at Pelican Path, is one of those memories. The OCEAN VIEW literally takes your breath away!!

Pelican Path is the "REAL OCEAN VIEW", a photographers dream, a romantics ultimate destination, and for anyone, who seeks a beautiful oceanfront home, sitting on the most gorgeous piece of land on the entire Oregon coast..( I know, I have lived here all of my life )Pelican Path is where you want to be. We love this place and have booked it far in advance to ensure as many memories as possible. I hesitated to share what an amazing time we had at Pelican Path, what an amazing home and REAL OCEAN FRONT VIEW this place we never wanted to leave...and didn't. I was hoping Pelican Path could be the best kept secret!!! But then again...what goes around comes around and This place needs to be shared.

We loved the amazing full length windows where you felt like you could touch the ocean. The fully stocked kitchen, the water pressure in the showers is excellent, and the decor is perfect. We will never stop talking about the ocean view, nothing we have seen compares.

This place is such a gift, I want to thank the owners for sharing. We can't wait to come back!!

Amazing ocean front with easy beach access

  • 5 of 5

The pictures can not do justice to how breathtaking the views are from the deck, especially to whale watch this time of the year. The house was very well furnished and the newly remodeled kitchen was a definite plus. The owners and management are so easy to work with and I would highly recommend this home for families with children as well as couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Million Dollar View

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we've spent a family week at this great beach house. The house is very comfortable, excellent location and the view is incredible. Equipped with everything we need. So many places to explore that's close by. We took the Jet Boat ride out of Gold beach with our three teenage grandkids. Also went to Alfred A. Loeb, SP so the grandsons could float the Chetco in the kayak Never a dull moment the whole time we were there. Did have a little rain this time, but didn't stop us from having fun. Definitely hope to visit again !! Thank you Steve and Kristi.

High praise from a picky crew

  • 5 of 5

My brother and I searched a long time before settling on this location for a mini-family reunion for the two of us and our spouses. We're pretty picky, and yet it was everything we hoped for.

Fantastic location overlooking the ocean. The two main bedrooms on the ground level were separated enough for good privacy and the common areas were clean, filled with nice ammenities and sporting a wonderful view. We didn't have kids with us but, had we, the bedroom on the second floor looked like a super-fun place for a younger generation to have their own area to run amok without bothering the so-called grown-ups. The beach was indeed relatively private as advertised. The bonfire pit was a nice addition. The propery management firm handling the logistics were professional and friendly from start to fnish.

In short, no complaints here, and that's not something I say very often.

This is a comment from us, not a complaint: If you're not fond of stairs, then beach access won't work so well -- 77 of them to reach the beach -- my sister-in-law counted them!

Our group of 7-8 women have stayed at Pelican Path for the last 4 or 5 years as an incredible getaway. The views are outrageous, the kitchen is well stocked, the home is always very clean and welcoming.

Lounging on the deck, barbecuing, walking on the beach, whale watching, playing games, eating at the sushi restaurant and burgers at the Vista Pub........our days there are full and magical.

Highly recommended!!!!!!

A good Time at Pelican Path

  • 4 of 5

Nice house. Super location. Had a great time. House comfortably furnished with everything one would need for a good time. Being a mile or so from Brookings Harbor it almost felt like having one's private beach. Fires down on the beach both nights made for special times. Plenty of privacy for three couples with each bedroom having its own full bath. Bought our time at the house during a fund-raising auction for a non-profit. Kudos to the owners for making the donation.

Bridge Weekend

  • 4 of 5

Seven ladies spent 2 nights at Pelican Path. The house was wonderful. It had great beds, linens, and well stocked kitchen. The view was fantastic. I would of rated it a 5 but the path to the beach was too difficult for several of the older ladies. I would definitely come back again.
