Two living areas, an ocean view deck, family sized hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, huge detached game room, and great outdoor patio and bbq area. I designed this house to be our family's favorite getaway with all the little amenities and details that make us comfortable when we are here; come stay and I know it will be one of your family's favorite getaways as well.

Great place for families to stay with kids. Great game room for kids who never got bored along with a hot tub. House was clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We’ll be back.

House is quiet and cozy. Pictures are accurate. The darts to the dart board were broken, but other than that, everything was great. Enjoyed the coffee and games upstairs!

Perfect for families

This home provided us with a great home base to be able to explore the area. We loved coming back from exploring and hanging out in the game room or playing board games. The home was equipped with everything we needed.

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our two families. We enjoyed the game room, the hot tub, and walking to beaches and town. It was a very quiet neighborhood and so easy to access amenities. Thanks!!!

We had a fantastic visit at the Coastal Haven! It was close to beaches and groceries. We saw deer every night. The house had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to beach towels to the super fun game room! Worked for our family with ages from from 10 to 85!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Very nice layout with the upstairs great room and big balcony. The game room and hot tub made the stay even better!

Wonderful Stay close to amenities

The home was a great place to stay for our fishing trip with friends. It would be amazing for a large family, or families with kids. The home has a fantastic game room, hot tub, and separate living room on the upper floor makes for plenty of room to spread out and have fun.

Stay awhile

This house provides all the comforts of home…and then you get to play! The beach is close and the game pad in the garage is a great time! Bring a speaker for tunes!I loved all of the Meyer’s products for washing and cleaning up, beds were soooo comfortable and clean! We have twice made beautiful memories there, with our whole family, and plan to come again!

Brookings vacation spot

This home was ideal! You can tell that they've put a lot of work into their property to make it the perfect vacation rental. The game room is incredible. It was comfortable in every way! We would love to return some day.

Costal Haven is a Gem

Costal Haven was perfect for our family. After spending a week traveling down the Oregon coast, Costal Haven felt like home. It was the perfect place to rest, re-coup, and enjoy Harris Beach. It was clean and comfortable with room to spare for our family of 5. Thank you James and family.

Teenage bday celebration

The house was clean and comfy. The upstairs area with 2 bedrooms, full bath, mini kitchen, dining and lounge area with tv were perfect for 5 teenagers to hang out and have some private space. The outdoor patio dining area and hot tub were enjoyable and the game room garage was awesome. We went to Mill Beach since it was so close and that was nice. Thank you for sharing you charming house with us, Brookings will be our coastal "go to" when in southern, Oregon.

Fun house

We had a great stay. The game room in the detached garage kept us busy. I brought my cues from home but it looks like the one available are nice. Plenty of room for more than one couple or a family. Hot tub plenty big and worked great. Communication with the owner was also great. Had a couple issues I passed on and they seemed to appreciate the information. Overall would return it was fun

Great Family-Friendly Getaway

The house suited our two families with four children ages 6-10 (note: three kids had to sleep on the upstairs room pullout bed—it was not an issue given their ages). We all enjoyed the hot tub and game room for rainy hours at home! The owner was very responsive and friendly to our needs. The home itself is nice and in a central location, but not within walking distance to a beach (but only a few minutes drive). All in all, the game room and hot tub make this house great for family with children to satisfy all ages!

The house was just as listed! Very close to Mill beach, great tide pools and beach combing! Game room is fun for all ages! Beds super comfy and everything was clean! Probably, the most stocked house and kitchen we’ve ever stayed! Our contact was delightfully attentive for any questions or concerns! We had a very Merry Christmas with four generations. Memories to last a lifetime! We are so grateful!

Lots of room great location

We stayed here in June 6 of us and had plenty of room for all. This property has 2 living areas one upstairs one downstairs which was great for the kids gave them a large area to play. This rental was well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs and beach toys and a nice game room. The downside was the cheap mattresses they are out of the box cheap Walmart mattresses with literally no support you just sink into the mattress and your stuck in a rut and can't move. I gotta say I was pissed off about that and I never return to a hotel or vacation rental if I can't get a good night sleep. So I told the owner I would stay there again if mattresses where upgraded. Normally I wouldn't bother but other than the beds the place is perfect for summer but I also wouldn't stay there in the colder months cuz there is no heat in the house except a couple base board heaters that don't put out hardly anything seriously I can get more heat out of a zippo lighter.So to the owner get some decent mattresses and I'll be back.

Hi Vincent, thanks for sharing your thoughts; we always want guests to sleep soundly and stay comfortably in every season. We sent your feedback to the homeowner, and they wanted to provide some clarity:- We’ve chosen mattresses that many guests have found comfortable, with some even reaching out post-stay to ask where to purchase them. That said, we understand preferences vary, and your comments have been noted.- There are baseboard heaters in every room, and we have stayed at the property in colder months without issue. We agree it takes a little time for the space to warm up, but say it stays comfortable once heated.- The cleaning team is asked to turn on the heaters ahead of winter arrivals to ensure the home is cozy upon check-in.We appreciate your honest feedback—it helps us continue to improve and provide great guest experiences year-round!

Great Visit - Great Stay

My spouse and I loved staying in this house and the vantage point from the upper back balcony was great looking (beyond a couple of houses and yards) at the shore with birds and crashing waves. The house, to us, felt homey and we settled in immediately having everything we needed to stay comfy and provide some good home-cooked meals. Also the view looking towards the shore from the kitchen window is something I appreciated - and there's a majestic Monterrey Cypress gracing the view, as well. Our first night we ventured out for dinner on foot and found close by a place to relax by a fire-pit for some dinner. The next morning we walked over to Chetco Point Park. Was a great central location as we enjoyed lots that Brookings has to offer. Thanks so much to our hosts for the great stay!!
