Secluded log cabin "tiny house" on 26 acres surrounded by Lake Russell
A brand new Green River Log Cabin "Park Model" situated only a few feet off the Corp of Engineers property line on Lake Richard B Russell. Come enjoy our beautiful cabin in the woods with the added benefit of the lake being only a few hundred feet (3 minute walk) from the cabin via a marked walking trail. Your dog will be in heaven if you bring him/her along!
Best for a couple or single family, but sleeps up to 8. Queen mattresses in the master bedroom and upstairs loft and a queen pullout couch, in addition to built-in twin bunk beds. Upgraded kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Full bathroom with shower/tub. Large screened porch with a ceiling fan and room to relax, as well. We recently added a huge covered porch for added enjoyment outdoors. Hammocks included so you can set them up where you please in the trees!
Coldwater Point Cabin is situated towards the back of a very private 26 acre lot surrounded on three sides by Lake Russell with over 4000 feet of lake frontage. There are several walking trails throughout the property along with an awesome fire ring for campfires and s’mores. We provide various items; canoe, paddleboards, and kayaks for our guest to use during their stay. Make sure you bring a fishing pole for the crappie, bass, catfish, and bream in the coves. At night, take a stroll the field at the top of the hill for some great star gazing while listening to the coyotes, owls, and whippoorwills in the distance.
We are only about 8 minutes from Richard B Russell State Park. We provide a state park pass for our guests. Arrowhead Point Golf course is a must for golfers and the park also has a large sand beach, hiking trails, boat launch, pontoon rentals (highly recommended for cruising the lake!) and Frisbee disc course. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Elberton, GA where you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, and other things to do. Athens, GA is around 45 minutes and worth a visit if you need to fill your time on a rainy day.
Our cabin is remote! Cell phone service is non-existent to spotty, at best, and we do not provide a phone or internet. Plan to be "disconnected" during your stay and enjoy the peace and quiet! This is the perfect place to get away from it all!

Besides the wonderful setting and home the owners made here, the owners themselves are really great to work with. Would love to stay here again!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Cold Water cabin. Wonderful location, easy access to the lake, terrific layout in the cabin. We will rent this cabin again.
This place is amazing and should be considered by anyone that loves the outdoors!!!!!!!
We stayed here for less than a week, which we will definatly will consider staying longer next time we visit. The cabin was just the right size for our family, and our daughter loved the loft climbing up and down the stairs. There cabin had games, books, toys, puzzles which worked out perfect because we forgot to bring enough for our 2year old daughter. The cabin was very remote with no cell phone service as stated in the description. This was actually what we where looking for. 15 min away you can find the city and evrything you need. We found a small church to go to whic was nice. Also the GA Gidestones where pitty cool to visit. We had a great time on the lake with the canoe and walked the trails, although i would recommend staying on the trails so you dont get lost in the woods, the wooded area all looks the same if you venture off the path. The cabin had washer and dyer all the things that made it feel like a home away from home (towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, indoor and outdoor games). The fire pit was big and i filled it up with dead trees that i found near the trails a couple of time which made for great big fires during the 29° nights. Our baby loved walking the trails and wanted to be outside all day every day. This place rocks and is perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all. Thank you Ryan and Sara we will look forward to next time. Your place is amazing.
It was beautiful and comforting. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed. It was such a fun experience and the lake was also a sight to see!
We had a great time
The property is in a wonderful location with everything you need for peace and quiet. We enjoyed the cabin and the setting. We roasted marshmallows and played games with our family without interruption from cell phones and calls. Would love to do it again
Very nice place
Enjoyed our weekend there
Kayak, paddle board, canoe, fish, swim, and float in the lake!
