Relax and unwind at our peaceful lakefront retreat—perfect for a quiet getaway. Enjoy cozy evenings outside on the deck or by the fire pit while embracing the peace and quiet you’ve been craving. Ideal for short-term stays where comfort, nature, and tranquility come together. Located just minutes from downtown Hartwell, this cozy retreat offers a private boat slip, so bring your own boat or rent one from a nearby marina.

We're also close to a farm meadery (honey winery) that specializes in artisan meads ranging from dry to sweet. They offer raw honey varietals, a tasting room with mead flights, a gift shop, and artisan cheeses & cured meats for snacking! Now that sounds like fun!

For fishing enthusiasts, Lake HArtwell is a prime spot to cast a line. Prefer a guided experience? Book a chartered fishing trip with a professional captain and reel in a big catch! Or signup for a guided tour of Lake Hartwell.

When you’re ready to explore the quaint downtown, be sure to stop by the local brewery or browse an elegant dress shop with stunning wedding and prom attire.

After a day of adventure, unwind on the deck, gather around the fire pit, and enjoy a peaceful evening grilling out with friends and family. Whether you're here for relaxation or excitement, our lakefront retreat offers the best of both worlds!

The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was conveniently located near a boat ramp for our launching our boat. It was also a plus that the town of Hartwell was so close. We enjoyed using the barbecue and eating out on the deck. Would highly recommend the place and would book again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was equipped with everything we possibly could need. We enjoyed the lake and watching deer from the deck. Debbie, our host, was wonderful. During our stay, the TV decided to die!. We texted Debbie at 11:30 in the morning and at 4:30 in the afternoon we had a new 55" Roku TV installed and running.5 Stars all the way!

Nice place. Perfect for two people. Very clean. Loved the fireplace. Dock access is farther than I expected. Summer time would be tough trekking coolers, chairs and fishing gear back and forth, but was perfect for New Year’s.

Lake R&R

We were in town for a game at Clemson & wanted a retreat for a weekend getaway and this place was perfect! The home was on the lake and very cozy. I loved the pieces the owners have in there-it’s interesting to see unique pieces of art & antique pieces. I would definitely recommend this gem! In the summer we hope to go back & rent a boat Owners answered all questions timely & left a book with restaurants & things to do. Price was super reasonable. Thank you for a little piece of Heaven

The host was excellent got back to us quickly with questions. The only negatives were the lake was farther than expected from the house and a little steep to get there. Also we unfortunately had an afternoon of rain so decided to do a movie day. The living room furniture is very pretty but not very comfortable to try and watch a movie as there's only a couch with a small ottomen and the other 2 chairs are formal straight wing back chairs. The house did however have all the necessary items you would need to cook a meal, showers were clean and had shampoo/conditioner and soap provided with fresh towels. The town is very close with lots of great food options. We ate at the Boathouse, it was very affordable with great food, live music and views of the lake. The house is set off the road on a very quiet block, met a few of the neighbors who were very friendly as well.

There was a 100 "Pet" charge when there was no pet.
2025 年 9 月に 3 泊滞在
VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2025 年 10 月 19 日)
Stating that there was a $100 pet fee without adding addition information is not a fair review of the situation. Joe's fee was IMMEDIATELY refunded once he informed me they did not bring a pet. My cleaning crew reached out to me to let me know about the excessive amount of hair found in the beds, on the furniture and floors, so after conferring with VRBO, it was decided to charge a pet fee. However, as soon as we heard back from Joe that he didn't bring a pet, and without photo evidence either way, his $100 was immediately refunded...along with an apology. We learned several things from this: Outside security cameras must be working at all times and our cleaning crew must take pictures of any concerns they have/see to support any issues. Again, Joe, our apologies for this misunderstanding and thank you for helping us learn how to better work with situations that arise on our property, either with our renters or those who care for our lake house.
