Recently renovated, this delightful house has an amazing private dock overlooking Lake Hartwell. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a sunrise coffee or a fun day of swimming and boating with family. It’s close to town as well as a public boat ramp (1/2 mile away). It has on open living/kitchen area that is great to watch the game and enjoy snacks. This house has a view of the lake from back deck and boat dock is located across the street. (In front of house)

Upon arrival, you will find the clean bed linens folded and neatly stacked on each bed.

This house was amazing! We had to cxl our previous listing that we had reserved, d/t that part of the lake being dry. I contacted the owner of this listing and they graciously and SPEEDILY made the house ready for us that evening. Their house is so open and homey and has so much natural light. There are plenty of kayaks down at the dock and it was so relaxing being down there. We'll definitely be back!

Very relaxing stay for a quick getaway trip.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this lake house for a quick getaway to a family graduation in the area. The lake views were very relaxing and the house had everything that we needed. The kids had a great time using the kayaks. Location was very convenient to the surrounding area.

Lake Hartwell retreat

This Hartwell lake home is as described and well maintained and comfortable. The private boat and swimming dock are extremely nice on deep water private cove perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing with amazing views!! My what a wonderful spot. I rented it for a preacher that was coming through and it was nothing but high praise and continuous thanks for the wonderful spot. This property was wonderful for my family and friends in a group of 6! Very accommodating, clean, spacious, everything we needed and more! The private boat dock worked out perfect for our 22’ Tritoon & kids loved the Kayacks! The fire pit made for great s’mores & atmoshere along with yummy grilling at the house! The accommodations were perfect, and we will definitely be back.

Perfect Lake Get Away

The house was in a great location with an amazing boat dock and floating deck. We had an amazing time out on the lake all day and enjoyed a comfortable stay in the evenings.

Nice cozy place on Lake Hartwell

We've stayed for a week at Doug and Lucy’s place in June 2025. We had a really great time, enjoyed everything. Mostly spent time on the lake - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Kids had fun at the beach and playgrounds at the Elrod Ferry Recreation Area, which is just a few minutes drive down the road. Groceries and shopping (Walmart and ALDI) are less than 10 minutes away. Overall, a very nicely located quiet place on the lake. Will definitely try to come back next year.

We stayed during the state golf tournament. Place was easy access to Lake Hartwell and beautiful views. Was roomy for a family of 4 and 2 teammates. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great lakeside getaway!

This home was perfect for our trip to the lake with our granddaughter. Everything we needed in the spacious, tidy home. Private dock and also a boat ramp close by allowed for easy fishing trips. We hope to return soon!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We have two mountain properties in Clayton and Blairsville. We wanted to have a home on the lake for our 4 daughters to enCou.v The home was in bad shape and we still are in process of doing improvements to the outside and hall bath.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Home has water in front and back of house. Deep water dock with heavy Adirondack chairs and a large swim dock. Corp park at end of road with boat ramp, beaches, and picnic area.
