Overview

About the property

Canal Home, Perfect Location with a great outdoor living space & beautiful home

This Cape Coral home sits on a 120' wide canal and has the most desirable southern exposure which refers to the back of the home and lanai facing south. We have a Kayak in the garage you can use if you want to explore! We also heat the pool to 85 or warmer in the winter if you request it, so no need to worry about a cold pool!! This particular home has about 10 feet of mangroves at the seawall which is rare and beautiful! You get to see little birds and Iguanas sunning themselves and of course fish jumping!! It really is a great backyard space. You are close to Del Prado for shopping and bike paths but not so close that you hear road noise.

This home was in a successful rental program but the owner became ill and had to sell the property. Unfortunately the good reviews don't go along with the home when it is sold. So we start over but don't be afraid of the lack of reviews, this home is set up with everything needed for a vacation rental and one that has been renting for a couple years. It has 1 king in the master suite and 2 other rooms on the other side of the home with a queen bed in each room. All three rooms have closets and dressers for plenty of space. The home has cathedral ceilings and is a wonderful space for a family to have enough room to spread out but still be together on vacation. Its not a new rental without all the extras that we all want on vacation! It has it all! Full kitchen with everything a family needs to make even a thanksgiving dinner!! We also have 4 Bikes, golf clubs, cards and games, pool floats, lounge chairs on the dock, Beach chairs, beach umbrella, gas grill, kayak and so much more! Pictures of the extra things coming soon!

Ask me about anything!! You won't be disappointed here!!!

Lovely villa in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This house is one of the best equipped and furnished that we have ever stayed in. Very comfortable with lots of space.

The kitchen are was very clean and well equipped and Jill who manages the property did a lot to ensure that our stay was great.

We had lots of fun fishing off the dock (try some shrimp from Capn Robs bait shop) if you persevere catching catfish and crabs then other fish do come along.

There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby with lots of other things to do. We did a fishing charter with Conway charters and went fossiling up in Arcadia.

The only slight negative was that at some times of day there can be traffic noise from the nearby road.

Overall a great stay and we would recommend this house to anyone.

A wonderful house and pool.

  • 5 of 5

This house has everything to make your visit comfortable. It is beautiful inside and out. I don't need to repeat the details reported in the earlier reviews but will say it is the best house where we have stayed. We especially enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood every morning and then doing a cool down swim in the pool. We will stay here again if we come back to this area.

A fantastic house to vacation in

  • 5 of 5

I just got home from a month long stay at this property and have to say in one word FANTASTIC. The house was everything that it looked to be on line and probably even more. The house was very clean and the furnishings very top drawer. I spent most of my time on the lanai or in the pool, which was heated to a perfect temperature. When I went to the beach, I went to Sanibel Island and it was a great time. I have to say that Jill was also a real treasure to work with. She was very unobtrucive yet always there if I had a question or needed anything. Thank you so much for letting me stay here. The iguanas were lots of fun to watch and I even saw an aligator in the canal. All is all, I would recommend this property to anyone. Ken

Great rental

  • 5 of 5

Property was clean and had all the the little extras as advertised.

The house was very comfortable and the heated pool was wonderful.

We enjoyed seeing the big iguana (5 feet in length) sunning on the Dock.

Would definitely recommend this place and come back

  • 5 of 5

From reservation to check out, this place exceeded our hopes and expectations. I had questions before completing the reservation. Jill answered my questions right away and I was then completely confident in the reservation. Leading up to our vacation, I had questions about the house and things to do. Jill was responsive and helpful. We travel a lot and have high expectations for the cleanliness of places we stay. I've even been known to buy cleaning supplies to clean the place myself before letting my family settle in. This place did not let me down. Not only was it very clean, but they have a nice supply of cleaning supplies there. The beds were comfortable, there is plenty of space and the house has anything you might need. The pool is fabulous. There is a small bathroom out there so no need to track water through the house. There's a patio set by the pool and lots of pool/beach floats and toys in the garage. Again, the owner supplies anything you might want or need. There are even bikes and a kayak in the garage that we didn't get to take advantage of due to our schedules. Now, on to the canal and mangroves. The description said there are mangroves and I didn't care because I didn't know what they were. Wow. If you enjoy nature and what it has to offer, mangroves are incredible. I could have sat by them for hours! The plants are beautiful but even cooler is what's in them. We could see birds, turtles, lizards and iguanas any time of the day. My son has loved the elusive lizards and iguanas for years. He was in heaven surrounded by them! I also need to mention the privacy. The house is located close to everything you might want but, being in town, its very close to the neighbors. There is vegetation on either side of the house so you don't even see the next door neighbors when you're in the pool or backyard. We asked Jill for suggestions on beaches while we were there. We visited a few but unfortunately left Lighthouse Beach on Sabinel Island until our last day. Whether you are going to swim, lay in the soft white sand, shell, people watch or check out dolphins, this is your place! We found so many incredible shells, got to see live sand dollars all over the place, swam in the family friendly water, met new friends and loved that dolphins came up to send us off. I truly can't say enough good about this house, the area and how welcoming & accommodating Jill was. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
