About this property
Spectacular Sunsets with Waterfront Views
This wonderful vacation home has many features for your enjoyment starting with the heated, saltwater pool with a waterfall. The home is 2100 sf under air and has an open floor plan. The kitchen is designed for those who enjoy cooking, with a pot filler and double ovens. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an additional sitting room with views of the water. This house has a western exposure, so the sunsets on the canal are often spectacular! Lots of dining and sitting areas on the large lanai. The backyard is very private with lush, tropical landscaping. This home is convenient to shopping, dining, golf and many area attractions including islands, beaches and a waterpark. Much to love here! NOTE - This is a quaint, 30-year old home with old Florida charm. It is probably not the right fit if you generally prefer more contemporary properties. We note this only because we truly want our guests to enjoy their stay. Also, please be aware that there is a video camera above the garage door that allows security monitoring of the driveway and front door approach area.

The house is everything described! Our family especially enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock into the canal. The house was clean and well kept. We had everything we needed to enjoy a week away from home.
The house was very nice. Master bedroom bed was so very comfortable. The pool was awesome. Enjoyed the evening sunsets, beautiful. Stores nearby. I cant say enough things about Mark. He was great. Went out of his way to accommodate us.
Mark was an excellent host. The property is in excellent condition, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Mark called a couple of times to make sure that all was going well. The house is well supplied with all that was needed to make ourselves comfortable.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The house and pool was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. We vacationed here for the whole month of February .
The property was everything I wanted for a perfect getaway with the family. It was clean and spacious. Watching wildlife and sunsets from the dock was a favorite activity for everyone. The host was so helpful. He texted and called to provide local activity suggestions based on our interests. I would definitely stay again when visiting the Cape Coral area.
Our experience was beyond our expectations. The home is BEAUTIFUL, Cozy, Comfortable and Clean. We had all the lovely amenities of a home away from home.. and hope to return for a future vacation!
It was an awesome place for kids cause of the pool and my two got to feed the turtles as well
The house had a curtain issue that was we knew about and I kinda like it without the curtain up
As it stated in the description, it is a dated property, but very spacious and laid out perfect when you have more than one family. Closer to the street than I would have expected and therefore a bit of street noise.
I stayed at this property while playing in the Roy Hobbs World Series. It was nice to come back to a relaxing and private residence after the games. Nice to soak in the pool, or sit on the dock and have a beverage while the sun set.

Thanks Mark! We are happy to know you enjoyed your stay.
Overall the property was outstanding. Quaint. Not at all like the newer properties. Was a home away from home. Just a short distance from Publix, Dollar Store, Target and more. Would recommend to others. Easy access to Veterans Parkway. Great place to stay. Very quite neighborhood.
This was our second time there, that alone should be a testament to what a good time we've had. The place is very clean, well supplied with all the appliances you may need. There is a large grill for all your grilling needs with a spare propane tank. The pool has a hot water cascade that makes it very comfortable. The host is very attentive to your messages and she answers very quickly. I definitely recommend it.

Thank you for the detailed and excellent review! Glad to have you back!
This home was spacious and beautifully decorated. From the moment you walk in, it feels like your home away from home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. There is an enclosed porch overlooking the pool and canal. The outside pool area is nice and clean and has lots of seating to watch the beautiful sunsets. Mark is a wonderful host. He checked in with us and offered advice on what to do & where to eat. He also directed us to the best beaches in the area. (don't miss Siesta Key, it is worth the drive)
Loved our stay!

Very accommodating for our families needs
We LOVED this rental! It is very close to shopping and restaurants. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We have two special needs children and the floor plan made it very accommodating for their needs. Everything was clean and in great condition. The decor is very tasteful and all the furniture is comfortable. We absolutely loved the outside/backyard!! There were so many areas to sit and relax while enjoying the beautiful landscape. It was nice to be right on the water instead of in someone else's backyard. Thank you for such a wonderful mini vacation from the cold Ohio weather!!!

Expectations not met.
The pictures looked nice on the website but it’s not what we got. Many different issues during the stay, some of which were addressed. Our exit document was in more detail. This house has so much potential but many problems need to be addressed to make it more appealing and livable.

Dear Guest,
We appreciate your recent stay at our property and we would like to extend our sincere apologies for any inconveniences you may have experienced during your four-week visit. Our guests’ comfort and satisfaction are important to us, and we genuinely regret if we fell short of meeting your expectations.
We were surprised by the feedback in your review, as it is inconsistent with the overwhelmingly positive reviews we typically receive about our property. We value all feedback, and we take your concerns seriously.
We acknowledge there were some issues with the pool during your stay, which we addressed promptly upon receiving your two notifications. We understand the importance of a clean and enjoyable pool experience and took immediate steps to rectify the situation. We provided additional cleaning and chemical adjustments within 24 hours and offered the use of our pool cleaning robot, though you declined this offer. Following a week-long period of historical rain & flooding in the region, you notified us a second time that the pool was not clean. We had our general contractor respond the same day, then terminated the current pool service and brought in a new service for a complete cleaning and chemical reset within 48 hours.
Regarding the other matters you mentioned, such as the TV functionality (passed on to us by our general contractor), hot water in the kitchen, and water in the guest bath, we would like to note that in each case the item in question was fully functional. We promptly addressed each concern by instructing you on how to use the faucets and the television remote.
You also communicated to us that one of the smoke detectors became disconnected from the ceiling and was hanging by a wire. Our Property Manager coordinated with you for a handyman to stop by and reinstall it.
We genuinely value your feedback, as it allows us to continuously improve our property and enhance the overall guest experience and we always want to address any shortcomings. During your stay, the items discussed herein are the only items you communicated to us. We were responsive to each and the only material issue with the house related to the pool, which we believe we aggressively remedied.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered during your stay and hope that, despite these challenges, you were able to find some enjoyment in your time at our property.
Sincerely,
Property Owner
We drove down from Minnesota in early March. Stayed 25 nights. Our kids, their spouces and our grandkids joined us for the first week. Then our friends joined us for 5 days the third week. The grandkids lived in the pool, along with the rest of us. We grilled most nights and enjoyed the warm evenings poolside. We took the grandkids to Siesta Keys beach, which is a bit of a drive but well worth it. When it was just the two of us we found some great places to eat lunch/dinner or just have an appetizer and drink. Lobster Lady, Monkey Bar and Pinchers in Ft Meyers to name a few. We came home to a blizzard dumping 6+ inches of snow. Wished we had extended our stay another week or two. 😊
We stayed for a Christmas - New Year holidays. The house was more than we expected, very clean, beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped, beach stuff, etc. Everything what you need just was there and yes, the pool had clean water and was heated. When we arrived the water was a bit cold but it was probably because there wasn’t any guests before us so we asked property manager to heat the water in pool and there wasn’t any problems with that. Property manager Sofie is very responsive, just ask and she will take care of the issue. The house is very well located, there is short drive to Publix and restaurants but you need a car it is not a walking distance. On the back side of the pool is the deck by the canal where we enjoyed the sunsets. The neighborhood is very quiet and clean we felt safe.We had a wonderful time , thank you Mark for your hospitality and we definitely look forward to be back.

We are a Pacific Northwest family that purchased this home as a vacation destination for escaping portions of our rainy season. Lucky for you we love the snow and mountains so it will generally always be available during peak winter season in Florida!
Why they chose this property
In addition to the very private oasis-like backyard, the location provides convenient central access to a plethora of great places and activities. A range of beach options, quaint islands, fantastic boating and fishing, excellent restaurants, the vibrant River District of Ft Myers, and plenty of golf courses provide something for everyone. For families there is even a water park and plenty of elaborate mini golf options within minutes! Extend your reach a little and the Everglades, Miami, Tampa, the Keys, and Disney are all very accessible. This is a very livable home - close to everything from daily conveniences to an assortment of recreation.
