Great place!

We really enjoyed staying here! The pool was just steps from our back door. Parking space right on our front door. Few minutes from Destin Harbour Boardwalk. We really love the location of this apartment. Hopefully we will come back!

Reviewer Comments: we have been staying at the islander about 11 years. and i was not happy about room 114. we had bugs the whole time. they looked like roaches. we went to the front desk every day to tell them and they said they would call someone to come out. they never came out to spray. someone said the bug was called something else i cant remember the name. but they were every where. on the counter tops all over the kitchen in our bathrooms. as much as we love coming here every year i just was upset having to deal with that. i did love how much sleeping space they had in the room though.

Reviewer Comments: Stayed at the ISLANDER a total of 9 times throughout the years. This time made it to where i will not be coming back. It has progressively gotten worse in the last 6 years and i wasnt able to vacation there in the last 2 years due to covid concerns and small children but this time was terrible. Dirty, dingy, falling apart, bugs, roaches, loud rude people, rude staff, overpriced, i will not be coming back and i used to love this place.

Our Condo was fully equipped and the furniture was so comfy. The condo had a great king bed in the master bedroom, an awesome huge bathroom and a huge closet. the pools, hot tubs and the grounds were well taken care of and everything about the Islander was very nice and we are planning on making it our vacation destination every time we go to Florida.

Please post signs under pavilion. if there is a sign about no loud music, then we have the right to call the front desk.

This time I was displeased with the Furniture in condo 114. It was dated and ALL mattresses were in poor condition and made for an uncomfortable sleep, including the sofa bed! Very uncomfortable mattresses! Everything else was wonderful, I just wouldn't recommend that unit number. Thanks for listening!
