As a young and active family, we worked hard to find the ideal family-friendly mountain getaway. Our goal is to be the single most family-friendly condo in Keystone, and our location makes this goal easy. Our unit is a very large 2 bed / 3 bath. With an oversized kitchen (stocked with everything a cook could need!), 2 bedrooms, 3 full baths, plus queen murphy bed and two sleeper sofas, it lives and sleeps like a 3 bedroom. This penthouse unit boasts a one-of-a-kind floor plan with high ceilings and plenty of space for your whole family. Sip your coffee on the balcony overlooking the slopes. In the evening, watch the fireworks from your own balcony. Enjoy the quiet of no one above you! And as anyone traveling with kids knows: you don't want a long walk to major attractions, so our building boasts a private pool and hot tub shared with no other buildings, and a very short walk to the gondola. Another key when traveling with kids? In-suite laundry. Few units have a washer and dryer, but ours does. Our twins regularly sleep through its wash and dry cycles. On top of that? As parents ourselves, we've stocked our unit with a high chair, booster cushions, pack and play, kid tableware, and even toys and books in a fun play nook that our kids love.
Adding to the family-friendly features, our building is located next to the playground and skating rink/putt putt course (depending on season). The Kidtopia Headquarters is also located in our building, and they put on tons of awesome activities for kids. Our daughters recently enjoyed a balance bike race with the Kidtopia crew.
Our unit features brand new furniture, appliances and decor, including brand new granite countertops in October 2017, for a stylish, modern feel-- this is not just any unit that looks like every other condo in River Run. You will not see the same old bear bedspreads and standard furnishings in every other unit. We provide a one-of-a-kind experience for the whole family.
Future Rates - Currently, the rates are set through December 2018. If you are looking to book after that date, please reach out for a quote.
Negotiating Rates - We set rates we feel are appropriate. We are not likely to negotiate rates as they are already at a fair level for this property and time of year.
Minimum Stay - We accept one-night stay requests for Sunday through Thursday nights. However, if a stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, we usually require a two-night minimum. The exception is if the property is only available for one night.
Check-in time is 4 pm. We understand that guests are often anxious to get in the unit sooner, but we want to give our housekeeping crew plenty of time to make it perfect for your arrival. While we can make an effort to let you know if the unit is ready sooner, please plan on a 4 pm check-in.

-HOA rules provide for only one underground parking space. Additional parking in a nearby lot may be available with advanced notice so we may procure a permit.
River Run is the place to stay in Keystone! Access to pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and walking distance to the gondola.
Note: "kids ski free at Keystone" is only available when you stay in properties owned or managed by Keystone. We own and manage our own property and are not able to offer free or discounted lift tickets.
Sleeping accommodations: King, Queen, Twin, Queen Murphy Bed, Queen Sofa Sleeper, Twin Sofa Sleeper. Expedition Station amenities include private pool, hot tub, steam room, pool table, fitness center, and heated underground parking.
We have a 2-night minimum if the reservation includes a Friday or Saturday night.

Like other buildings in this area, Expedition Station does not have air conditioning. If you are a summer guest, you may question the lack of a/c upon arrival. Step 1: open all openable windows (the skylights in the nooks are not to be opened). Step 2: locate box fans in the bedroom closets. Step 3: place box fans in front of open windows to pull in cool air from outside. Step 4: locate stand fans in closets to further circulate air. By the first evening, the unit will be nice and cool, full of that fresh mountain air.
