External Description



Historic villa built in the second half of the 19th century, located on the hills of Lastra a Signa, just 20 minutes from Florence.

Surrounded by 7 hectares of park with olive trees and vines, the villa boasts a well-kept garden with lawn and flowers, and a panoramic terrace with amazing views over the Tuscan countryside and the city of Florence with its Cathedral.

Among the outdoor spaces you will also find two gazebos used as lounge and dining areas (with table for 15 people), ideal for alfresco meals while admiring the surrounding landscape.

Moreover at guests' disposal a beautiful pool (10.6 x 5 meters), equipped with sun loungers and external shower with hot/cold water.

Near the pool area there are also 2 external bathrooms.



Internal Description



Spread over 3 floors (one of which is an attic), Villa Colomba is furnished in a typical-late-19th century-Tuscan-style with period furniture. It can accommodate up to 15 people for a total of 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Pets are allowed on request. The property has Internet Wifi. Air conditioning is only available in the dining room and in all bedrooms.

For any kind problems, two house keepers are at guests' disposal.



Ground floor: On the ground floor you will find a beautiful living area, consisting of: a large living room with sofas and fireplace, a dining room, a sitting room with sofas and tv. Following is a fully equipped kitchen with: hob, oven, 2 refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster.

A toilet completes the floor.



First floor: The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: 1 suite with double bed and bathroom (with shower) and 3 double bedrooms. There are also two bathrooms (one with shower and the other with bathtub).



Attic floor: The attic floor houses: 1 twin bedroom (with two French beds), 1 single bedroom (with French bed), 1 double bedroom. Then you will find a room with a twin sofa bed (the sofa becomes 2 single beds when opened, it's on a mezzanine and not in a bedroom, it's recommended for children/kids, as adults may find it a bit uncomfortable).

Finally there is a bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas and electricity except for heating); welcome basket; house, garden and pool maintenance.



Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (350.00€); linen change on request (100.00€); heating from October to May (500.00€ per week); transfer service from the airport; housekeeping service; other extra services on request.



Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 800,00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon damages.
