This 4 bedroom/2 bath home was built in 1983 as my parents dream home. It is a split level, 2-story home, with large windows in the living and dining area to enjoy the gorgeous Daniels Lake in Nikiski, Alaska. Updated (2017) carpet, paint and new kitchen appliances. No frills living here, this home is simple and comfortable. Ample space to move on the 4 acres of lake property. Home has washer/dryer, tub-shower combo upstairs bathroom, with a walk in shower in downstairs bathroom. (Please note: No extra freezer space available to store your daily catch we kindly ask you to make arrangements with any of the numerous local seafood freezer/packers to process your Alaska catch.) The Lake House is heated with electric baseboard and monitor heaters. Home shows some years of wear, yet has cleaned up beautifully and offers spectacular lake views. We welcome you to enjoy the wooded tranquility. Be entertained by the moose roaming at will through the yard, the lake loons calling and enjoy the many species of water fowl on the lake. The large neighboring dogs are also friendly entertainment to anyone within the vicinity of their roaming of the woods.

The house has a great view of the lake, the loons were so tranquil to listen to. Our group enjoyed the lake, the porch and plenty of space to entertain. Highly recommend this great place to stay and enjoy Alaska!
The VBRO pictures and descriptions are accurate - it's as perfect as it looks. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well maintained house in a quiet natural setting.
Gorgeous view, over the top place to stay, wonderful hist
Property is exactly as described plus more. Stacey was wonderful, quick to respond, beautiful property. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book this place, definitely will stay again when in Alaska. Check out The Old Goat cafe early in your trip, wished we could have visited there earlier in trip.
We had a fantastic week! The house wonderfully accommodated our large family. The lake is beautiful and we spent many hours with the kids kayaking and canoeing, when we weren't fishing on the many rivers and streams in the area. We ate lunch at the old goat cafe located inside the hardware store, it was delicious! We highly recommend this listing for families or larger groups.
The owners are awesome and the house was perfect when we got there. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Kenai area.
Celebrating graduation and basic training send off for my son. We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy each other and nature. This house is amazing. My husband and son enjoyed fishing on the canoe and catching multiple trouts. My oldest and I explored captain cooks reserve and did lots of hiking and exploring. It felt like a true summer lake house. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!!

Awesome house and hosts!
Had a great time at this house. Very quiet setting with moose roaming the yard and a crystal clear lake in the back. Had everything we needed and more than we expected. Hosts even moved in more beds to accommodate our group. Would definitely stay here again! Just an awesome place and friendly accommodating hosts!!

About the host
Hosted by Stacy Oliva
I grew up on this property in the early 1970's with my parents, grand parents, and 2 sets of aunts, uncles, and cousins over the hill next door. My parents were excited to build this home in 1983 as their family grew with my younger siblings. We raised Arabian horses on this property and lived the old homestead way- with all the family pitching in so that many hands made light work! It is with gratitude that our family has grown up right next door to the homestead where I grew up...The Lord has blessed us with the stewardship of this wonderful piece of property!
