About Lisa Frostad
Our family lives in the Seattle area and we love to visit Whistler ! Having our own condo makes Whistler seem more like a second home to us.
Lisa Frostad purchased this Townhome in 2006
Why Lisa Frostad chose Village North
Being in Whistler Village is important. Walk to the shops, gondola, grocery - all in just minutes.
What makes this Townhome unique
This condo faces the wooded trail and is sheltered from the noise and lights of the streets. Sitting in the hot tub, you won't have people walking to and from their doorways so it feels very secluded.

Comfortable and very convenient location
We enjoyed our stay in this location. Convenient to grocery store, pharmacy and liquor store. Parking for one car was easy to use. Hot tub was enjoyable but needed cleaning. Beds were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were great for 4 people. This place sleeps 6 people, however some people may find it a bit small for that number. It is about a ten minute walk to the lifts. We suggest using the lockers and ski storage located in the basement of the Carleton so you don't have to hump skis back and forth. Everything was in working order. However, we couldn't figure out how to get local TV. The dark curtains on the showers in both bathrooms makes it difficult to see what you are doing in the shower. Also, makes the bathrooms kind of dull. We suggest replacing with clear shower curtains.
This places was in an amazing location that made everything very easy the entire week were there. Right across the street from the Marketplace, Village, and Free shuttle to the Gondola every morning. We had a enough room for everyone to be comfortable would recommend anyone staying here. The hot tub was very relaxing after day out on the slopes! Lisa was very nice to work with and very helpful when I needed to make some minor changes prior to arriving.
Nothing against the place but just some notes:
-Few light bulbs need to be replaced
-Cleaning service could make sure dishes are fully clean and spa could use a wipe down
-There were no paper towels / dishwasher soap (which we should have called about when we checked in, but didn't and bought our own)
-We could not get the cable to work on the TVs (we were able to use our source for shows)
Hi- Thank you for writing your review and bringing some pretty critical items to our attention today! I truly apologize you had to pickup supplies that we owners pay extra to our cleaners for them to stock. I will definitely bring that to their attention along with butned out bulbs. I am not sure what happened with our Shaw cable. I contacted our guest this week who reports it is working. Is it possible you had the wrong input settings? Had I known you were having trouble I could have sent someone to check on the cable. We will add a guest guide with notes on it. Appreciate your feedback Muchael!
We stayed here Feburary 19-23. The condo had everything we needed! The private hot tub was the best. The condo is in a wonderful location. We used public transportation everyday to access the mountain but it is an easy walk as well. It was easy to walk to the Village and the grocery store. This was our first visit to Whistler and we plan on returning. Would love to visit in the summer.
This place was prefect for our week Whistler trip. Close to the village and shuttle stop to get to the gondola. Hot tub was prefect for after the hill.
This place was awesome! Great location right next to the free shuttle and the beds were all comfy. It's perfect for a little skiing getaway. The hot tub wasn't working 100% well when we were there, but apart from that, the apartment was perfect!
The location was right next to safeway which made it easy to get groceries. One entrance to the village shares the parking lot with Safeway, so it was also walkable (5-10 min) to the village for going out to dinner and drinks/clubs after. There is a shuttle that can take you to and from the mountain (base of whistler gondolas) with your ski stuff that picks up right across the street from this apartment.
