This busy district in central Barcelona is characterized by wide streets and an elegant atmosphere. L'Eixample is known for its Art Nouveau architecture, including buildings by Antoni Gaudí, and the shopping and dining around the Plaça de Catalunya and along Passeig de Gracia.

This neighborhood is renowned for its upscale shopping and dining, including international boutiques and upmarket restaurants on the Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla de Catalunya. Dreta de l’Eixample is also home to La Sagrada Familia, the iconic (and unfinished) masterwork from architect Antoni Gaudí.
