Wrestlemania Weekend Success!
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. Slept 8 adults comfortably and was fully stocked with the comforts of home. Plenty of bedding, towels, dishes, etc. Lots of space and privacy. Jaime was a wonderful host. She welcomed us upon arrival and made us feel at home. We loved our stay in Nola!
A great, spacious, home. Close proximity to city
My family and I rented this home for a weekend stay in NOLA. The home itself was very spacious, cute, antique/aesthetic furniture; it was an absolute gem. This location was also a short distance from all the attractions in NOLA.
Jamie was super sweet and easily accessible; responded to all our questions immediately.
Will definitely stay again for future visits.
Great Spacious property
This property was great for our family gathering. Although it is a distance from the French Quarter, there was never a problem getting transportation (taxis, Lyft) to or from the property. Family members traveled to French Quarter daily 2/10 - 13. The antique furniture on the upper level was a great discussion topic and the lower level was comfortable for our family and guests. The side entrance proved invaluable for bringing in food and luggage. We would love to rent again when it is warm enough to use the spacious back yard. The neighborhood was quiet and close to stores for replenshing food and beverages.
Great house, patchy service
The house is great. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs to hang out. Dropping two stars cause of service and fact that it has only 3 bedrooms instead of 4 (as mentioned on website).
We reached late night 1:30 am and straight away realized the house was not stocked with toilet paper (there was 1/4th roll in one toilet), trash cans were not lined with trash bags and we couldn't find them. We were 10 of us, so this was major inconvenience. The lady did drop few amenities in the morning along with bottle of sparkling wine.
Another big issue was that website mentions house has 4 bedroom and sleeps 10. We found that was not the case. The house has 3 bedrooms. One upstairs and 2 downstairs. There was a futon in corner of downstairs living space but, it was so filthy (dusty and had stains) that who ever would decide to sleep on it would definitely fall sick.
We were charged a cleaning fee and yet were expected to sweep, wash and dry all the towels. We do understand the need to take out our own trash but, sweeping was too much of demand considering the already high cleaning fee charged.
We also found half consumed wine bottle, expired milk and trash in downstairs toilet trash can. One of the bathroom had old trash and the bathroom stank very bad. Implying whoever is supposed to come and clean after guest leaves, isn't really good at it.
I hate to hear you had anything less than a wonderful time. I wish you would've expressed your additional concerns while I was there. The house is four bedrooms. There are two upstairs and two down. As mentioned in the post, one of the bedrooms upstairs has an antique daybed. I am always available for my tenets and work hard to provide a wonderful house for your stay. This house has been completely remodeled over the last few years restoring it to it's original grace and we work very hard to keep it very clean and well maintained. It is unfortunate the few items were overlooked so we have since started working with a new cleaning crew to take extra precautions to avoid anything like this happening again in the future.
