Shacks Beach Perfect 2 Bedroom Tropical Vacation Paradise

Villa Sol a Sol is one lot back from the ocean and offers ocean views from both the ground and second level of the property. The beach is about 30 steps from the front gate. The 1st floor unit has been completely remodeled and is modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has custom African Mahogany cabinets and granite counter tops. The unit has its own living area with outside covered porch with sitting and lounging area and african mahogany bar top. The property is perfectly situated to accommodate 1 or 2 families, friends or wedding parties traveling together as we also have a separate 2nd floor 3 bedroom rental. The property has a whole house generator to ensure your comfort 24/7. The grounds are surrounded with colorful tropical fauna and flora inside a private walled compound. Professional landscape lighting illuminates the tropical gardens after dark. Parking is available on site for 1 vehicle per rental unit or 2 vehicles if you are renting 5 bedrooms or both the 1st floor and 2nd floor units. You won't find a better value for your $$$ on Shacks Beach than Villa Sol a Sol.

Our 2 bedroom rental is on the ground floor. With this unit you get private gated parking in front of your rental. You have private entry into your unit via the covered front porch or side entry. The covered porch is very comfortable with cushioned arm chairs and bar stools. There is an african mahogany bar top for enjoying coffee, meals or cocktails. Inside the unit you will find a fully equipped kitchen with new full sized refrigerator with filtered water and ice. There is also a large inside family room with comfortable seating with cable TV and wifi. Right outside the side door you will find a gas cooking grill with seating for your grilling pleasure. Both bedrooms have comfortable Serta mattresses and air conditioning. Bath towel and sheets are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

The best part of Shacks Beach is the diversity of activity within a short walking distance from Villa Sol a Sol. Playa Shacks has open and uncrowded beaches with some of the best snorkeling in Puerto Rico. Tropical Trail Rides offers horseback riding tours to isolated beaches 2 times per day. The Shacks area has quality surf breaks for surfing or paddle boarding and wave sailing for kite surfing or wind surfing. There are many other world class surf breaks close by. Just a short walk down the beach, Villa Montana Resort offers exceptional tropical dining. Ola Lola's Garden Bar is a short walk and offers casual dining, cocktails and occasional live entertainment with a local flare.

A perfect getaway

The property met all of the needs of my family. We spent most of our trip visiting area beaches and attractions and it was great to have a comfy home to come back too. The location is easy to get to and not far away from plenty of dining options. It was also steps away from the beach so we were able to take walks and relax. Dale was available to answer questions at any time, which was great. An overall splendid experience.

Nice little Shack Beach stay

Location was excellent - steps from Shacks Beach and around the corner is Ola Lola's Cafe (which I highly recommend). There are two bedrooms on the first floor - one is separate from the main kitchen/bathroom/living room which makes it nice to have a little seclusion if you want it. I enjoyed the hammock and the cute decor around the property. There is an outdoor shower and laundry line for wet stuff as well as beach chairs and an umbrella. Just make sure you bring your own beach towels or buy some- the only towels available are for shower only. There is a grill out back that works really well and the owner keeps it ready for use. Overall, it was a nice, cute little stay and very clean.

Amazing Location

This place was not only clean and aesthetically appealing, but well stocked and accommodating. We had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. Steps from the beach with chairs and coolers to borrow as well as outdoor showers. We had everything we could have ever needed as far as amenities inside the unit as well. Everything from food, other beaches, nightlife and outdoor recreational activities were nearby and easy to get to. We had a wonderful time at Villa Sol a Sol with a great host to give us guidance, recommendations and a comfortable environment.

Very comfortable stay with Dale. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. There are loads of little touches that make the stay even better -- an outdoor shower and surfboard rack, beach chairs, a clothes line, etc. The location is fantastic, it's the second home from Shacks Beach, and very convenient for the surfing beaches of Aguadilla and Isabela. Dale's communication is great and he was very accommodating. The wifi was fast enough for working over zoom. I'd happily stay again.

steps from the beach

Check-in was straightforward, as Dale provided all the necessary information, especially since my flight was arriving late. We stayed on the ground floor with two bedrooms; it was a beautiful property in a convenient location near a resort and just steps from the beach. It is advisable to rent a car; we did so for just a day to pick up groceries and explore the area, but we mainly stayed on the beach and relaxed. The air conditioning worked well, and the couch was very comfortable. There were pots and pans available, and the refrigerator had an ice maker. I brought some extra toilet tissue and resealable bags for our stay. Additionally, I recommend bringing your own lotion and shower gel or soap. Dale was a great host, and his dog was very sweet. There was an outdoor shower for washing off sand, plenty of beach chairs, and the neighbors were all very nice.

Walk to water

Such an ideal, well maintained apartment! Outside has a shower, place to store surf boards, grassy area for a lawn game, and patio seating shaded with lovely landscaping. The indoor temp was quite comfortable (temperature) the kitchen area has several unique small appliances and the living area has durable furniture. Bedrooms have firm mattresses, shelves, storage, and AC units. The apt is literally steps from the ocean and perfect for an evening walk. Isabela seemed to be a quaint, quiet area to visit while we were there. I appreciated Dale's friendliness and respect for our questions.

I really enjoyed staying at this property! In Isabela for a wedding, this property was closer to the wedding venue than I’d thought, so the location for me was great. The property itself was within a very short walking distance to the beach, and was very clean. I especially loved the outdoor space which had plenty of chairs and a grass area. Overall I loved staying here and would absolutely consider staying again if ever back in Isabela.

I have been traveling and wintering in Puerto Rico for over 20 years. I love this area for its beauty, people and the awesome ocean right out the front door. I am an active waterman participating in surfing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, foil boarding, snorkeling and swimming. All of the activities can be performed in the world class ocean conditions here in Puerto Rico. I can't think of a better place to live and play.

Why they chose this property

Through my years of traveling to this beautiful area of Puerto Rico I have rented many different properties. In doing so I have experienced both good and bad aspects of various properties here. Before buying this property in 2011 I complied a list and understanding of what features make a property exceptional for vacationing. In remodeling this property I have incorporated features in my rentals that set them apart from others in the area. Moreover, every summer since I acquired the property I have set aside time each summer to continue to accomplish projects that further improve the property. I guarantee you that you will not find better, cleaner, nicer or attractive property than mine at this price.

What makes this property unique

Ocean views, 30 steps to the beach, clean, neat comfortable, safe and beautiful. Best snorkeling in Puerto Rico. Best wave sailing the Caribbean. Many world class surf breaks out back and close by. Excellant paddle boarding break right out back. Empty beaches. Exceptional dining at Villa Montana Resort 50 yards away. Ocean front horseback riding via Tropical Trail Rides a short walk down the street. Aguadilla airport minutes away. Great grocery store, local farmers market, reasonable and good restaurants close by. Whole house generator so you spend your vacation in comfort not in the dark. Trust me I have all the bases covered because I live here too and I want you to continue to return to my property as do many of my guests.
