My family loved everything about this property: The cottage is just as the pictures depict, and very clean! It is very rustic, but the bathroom and kitchen are renovated and more than adequate. The master bedroom bed is super-comfortable. As for the property, there is a trail that begins near the cottage that winds its way to a stream, with just enough of a slope to feel like we got a workout. There are some waiting-to-be renovated structures very near that add to the charm. The owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming (and immediately responded when we messed up the TV remote.) We rented the place because of Clemson graduation, and while it is a solid 25 minutes from the campus, the property offers respite from the activity on campus. That the cottage and surrounding area are titled "Retreat" is no accident. We hope to visit again someday.
Lovely little cottage!
What a nice little place. Beds were comfy, owners were helpful and communicative but didn't hover at all. Kitchen maybe could have had more pots and pans but we brought a bunch of our own to do the cooking we wanted to so it worked out ok. A beautiful place on some beautiful property. Thanks for having us!
