Porch Light Hospitality presenta The Cottage. Construido en 1933 como un edificio de almacenamiento de bloques de ceniza roja, The Cottage se ha utilizado para almacenamiento hasta que fue remodelado en 2009 como una casa de huéspedes privada. La cabaña cuenta con la sensación original de un edificio histórico con el encanto de la comodidad moderna. Anniversary get away

Nice, peaceful setting away from the downtown area which we loved. Enjoyed the private area with the hot tub and patio. Bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. Would suggest adding a few chairs to the back of the property to sit and enjoy the wooded area, just beautiful!

Excellent Customer Service

The property was beautiful and quiet, yet close to down town area. Perfect spot for a couple getaway. There was an issue when we checked in with the hot tub, but we contacted support. They responded quickly.The issue was fixed quickly, without any disruption to our stay. Thanks. Would stay here again.

Quiet, Unique, & Cozy

We thought this property to be very quiet, cozy, and certainly unique. The owner seems to have put a lot of thought in to the layout of the property with the other homes and the way they are set up. We really enjoyed the gas-log fireplace in the bedroom since it was rather chilly the couple of days we were in Fredericksburg. Unfortunately we did not get to use the hot tub as a result of the outside weather. The property is located on the outskirts of town on what used to be an old homestead, so there is not a lot of commercial or retail activity right down the street. We liked that aspect because it kept the surroundings quiet. I think we would definitely stay again in the Cottage or at one of the other houses on the property --- I think the Pumphouse or the Barn would be next on our list.

Classy and comfortable!

We loved our stay here here. We had everything we needed, and it was just beautiful! We only had one night here (I wish it was two!) so we made sure to enjoy everything! The hot tub in our private courtyard was fun, and we made a little fire too, and enjoyed our show streaming while in the hot tub. The courtyard was also a secure place to park our ebikes, which was a great bonus. The shower was immaculate and the standing tub with the fireplace was just beautiful! That tub is huge too! I slept like a baby in that bed, extremely comfortable. They whole place was so immaculately clean, it seemed brand new.

Pre-Wedding gettin away!

My fiancé and I wanted to get away for a few days before we tie the knot. This stay was lovely! It had everything we needed and more for a cute quick trip to the hill country! We will definitely be back!

Such a cute, tucked away quiet place to stay. We booked for our 20 year anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. We only had one issue with the lights coming on outside but that didn't stop us from enjoying the time out there before it got too dark.

Cute and nice

Was nestled among a few other rental spots. Bit close, but other than that everything was amazing. Nice little spot, jacuzzi, TV out side! Fireplace, all of it added up to a nice little stay for us as we passed through the town. Was very close to down town as well.

Our favorite HomeAway ever

This is not only our favorite place in Fredericksburg, but it is the best HomeAway rental we've ever stayed in. We've stayed twice now, and this time spent most of our time in the cottage, just hanging out with each other and enjoying the amenities! The staff is helpful and responsive. Can't recommend it enough! We can't wait to go back next Christmas.
