We had an excellent experience at this property. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. Communication with the owners was excellent as they responded very quickly when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again!

This vacation home was absolutely wonderful! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. The lake was beautiful, with plenty of fish, and we loved having the kayaks available to enjoy it.The house had everything we could possibly need—two washers and dryers, two refrigerators, plenty of linens, cookware, and all the little extras that made our stay so easy and comfortable.And the host was phenomenal! They were welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Cape Lake House was wonderful! An absolutely perfect vacation for families - with the pool, hot tub, kayaks, games. Stu was a great host and super responsive. Will definitely stay at one of their properties again.

This was the best property we have ever stayed at. The hosts were very responsive. The house was well stocked with games, books, toys, outdoor activities and extras. It was very clean. Everything worked well. The hosts really care about the experience you have at the Lake House, and they did an incredible job. We will absolutely stay with them again. We had a wonderful vacation with 3 adults and 4 kids (7-12yrs). I cannot recommend this property enough!

You were in our house for a month, during one of the coldest winters on record for SW FL. What you have failed to mention is how responsive we were. Everything was fixed or replaced within hours. Clearly the dishwasher broke, our cleaning team put the dishes away without checking. They are no longer with us and we hired new cleaning people. But, you knew this. This is a House and sometimes things break. We had a repair person out the day you called, then we needed to go through the channels waiting for a new dishwasher to be delivered. It took 5 days. I was recovering from surgery and could not deliver it myself. We had a repair person out the day you called to replace the bathroom faucets. 98% of your visit you had new faucets. There was never a mention of dirty bed skirts, nor has anyone seen one! You were made aware before you arrived that you would not have control of the thermostat. You signed an agreement to that fact. You didn’t mention that the house was kept at a comfortable temperature. You had no complaints about it. What bothered you was you did not have control of it. You enjoyed our home, heated spa, pool, all of the amenities that we provide for free. We go the extra mile. I am sorry that your stay was cold, blustery and it upset you. To go out of your way to hurt us with a bad review is as much of a reflection on you as it is on us.

This house was exactly what we all needed. Spacious enough for all of us to feel cool and comfy. The pool was perfect, I'm pretty sure the kids were growing fins. We only went out to dinner once which was perfect because we managed our food budget by cooking and eating in a fully stocked kitchen with any and all kitchen ware we needed. Highly recommend the house. Stu and Cathy were great hosts.
