Medan poolen inte Ă€r under skĂ€rmen bestĂ€mde vi oss för att skĂ€rma pĂ„ den bakre uteplatsen. PĂ„ sĂ„ sĂ€tt kan vi fĂ„ vĂ„r nya 12 'slider öppen tillsammans med vĂ„ra fönster nĂ€r temperaturen svalnar och inte har nĂ„gra problem. VĂ„rt hem har all mysighet i ett kusthem i Maine kombinerat med alla synpunkter, sol och vĂ€rme i Cape Coral Florida! Vi har designat och renoverat tvĂ„ sovrummen bĂ„de pĂ„ andra vĂ„ningen. Alla med en king size-sĂ€ng och nya badrum. Ett loftrum ligger ocksĂ„ pĂ„ andra vĂ„ningen med fantastisk utsikt över sjön. PĂ„ första vĂ„ningen finns tvĂ„ privata extra sovrum med gemensamt bad mellan dem. Den första har en queen size-sĂ€ng och en fransk dörr ut till poolen, den andra har tvĂ„ fulla vĂ„ningssĂ€ngar. Öppet koncept köksstolar 3 vid disken och 8 vid matbordet. Stu har gĂ„tt "galen" och har köpt en 80 "tv för det stora rummet. Jag Ă€lskar att blanda det gamla med det nya och hoppas du gillar vĂ„rt Lake House. Vi Ă€lskar att andas nytt liv till egenskaper och det hĂ€r kommer inte att göra dig besviken! VĂ„ra barnbarn har dragit en del stora fiskar ur denna sötvatten sjö (largemouth bas och tilapia). Det har lagts upp av staden Cape Coral sedan 1960-talet. Great Place To Stay

Great location and who doesn’t like to walk out the back door and cast a rod to catch some fish. House is well kept, updated and very spacious. The communication with Stu was great. This was our second time staying and we will definitely be back.

Delightful location and property!!!!

We had not been to the Fort Myers area before so enjoyed the central location of the Cape Lake House. And it was a wonderful property to both lounge and relax, as well as a base for sightseeing or catching a baseball game! And we like to cook so totally appreciated the well equipped kitchen. We couldn't have asked for more!!

The Lake House

Perfect place to stay!

This was the perfect place for our family! We had 8 adults and two kids and plenty of room. Everything was very clean and organized. Plenty of towels, even beach towels. Our crew loved the Wii. The pool was perfect, we spent a lot of time there! Stu was very easy to work with and responded quickly! Overall, I would recommend this place your family!

Yearly Florida Trip . . .

Cape Lake House was the nicest, cleanest, and most well-stocked home we've stayed in over the years. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There were 7 of us and the 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom layout was perfect for us. We have NO negative comments whatsoever. Stu and Cathy were quick to reply if we had questions. We will definitely be staying at Cape Lake House again or maybe we'll check out one of their other locations. I wish we were still there! :)

Amazing Stay

Everything about our vacation was great. I bring my family (4 adults over 32, 14 year old, 5 & 6 year old) to Florida every year and we find a place with a pool and we basically never leave. We had everything we needed to relax all week. The kitchen was well-supplied with anything we could possibly have wanted to use, crockpots, George Forman Grill, large pots for pasta, big frying pans, Ninja Blender, and more. We cook all meals while we are there and we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place or any of their other vacation rentals. ❀❀❀

My favorite VRBO by far!

While many VRBO’s are beautiful, no other compares to Stu and Cathy’s properties. The owners take very good care to the details of what travelers want. There were so many options for entertainment. I really liked that they have the pool and hot tub set to a warm temperature all year round with no extra charges for electricity etc. the whole family enjoyed our stay. Quite honestly, I’d love to go just by myself to lounge and read from their library of books. My only regret is that I didn’t book longer! I will definitely seek properties listed by Stu and Cathy from now on.

Inviting Beach-Themed Getaway

The Cape Lake House is a beautifully appointed house on a quiet street with a soothing lake view. The house provided a very quiet and peaceful retreat to relax and enjoy our time in Cape Coral.The house has a heated pool and hot tub, with a partially covered patio that is great for enjoying the lake view while eating or enjoying a beverage at any time of the day or evening. While we visited as a couple, it would also be very good for a family with the pool, ping pong table, kayaks and many other amenities for entertainment and fun. The house has 3 charming bedrooms and bathrooms, well-situated for quiet and privacy from each other. We chose this house for the its charm and water view, and central location to visit a number of sights around Cape Coral, Pine Island, and Ft. Meyers. The host was very responsive and helpful and provided everything we can think of for a great experience at the house.

What a house, so glad that we finally chose this one!

The villa is just as fine as the pictures. We were two families with children (4 adults, 1 teenager and 4 kids) from Sweden who rented the house for 10 days. Stu kindly answered our questions promptly and solved every issue we had. We spent many hours in and by the lovely pool, both children and adults loved it! Before the trip we were a little worried that the pool was not under screen, but during our stay we were just glad it was not. The kids found it exciting with big fishes and lots of turtles in the lake outside the house. We all wish we could have stayed a little longer. Hopefully we can come back some day... A Lovely house with plenty of room. There is everything you need för a great vaccination, from towels, great beads to pool, fishingpoles and kayaks. We har a great week and the kids enjoyed every day. The owner were easy to communate with and the whole experience went very smootly.

What a comfortable and well appointed home!

In numerous decades of renting vacation homes, this home stands out as one of the best. Not only was it beautifully decorated it was the thoughtful appointments such as beach towels, high end cookware and a well stocked spice cabinet that put it over the top! Our group was mostly retired but I can certainly recommend this home to families with children. Well done Stu & Cathy!

Private and quiet getaway

Well appointed for all your vacation needs. Plenty of privacy with the mature landscaping and the lake/neighborhood was very quiet.The house was very clean with really comfortable beds, plenty of pool towels, throw blankets and pillows.Garage was well stocked with everything you need for the pool or beach along with game tables.Stu and Cathy were very easy to contact for questions100% recommended

Wonderful

Our stay was wonderful with three small exceptions. The neighbors next door were smoking weed which blew our way. We opted to go inside.The other issue we had were with the lights/fans. We had a couple of rainy days so we read books and played games. However, the kitchen light didn't work unless the fan was on. When it was chilly out having the fan on made us freezing cold. We had to move the kitchen table in order to play a board game. There was only one lamp that worked in the living room. One ceiling fan light worked in the living room and the other didn't. No light in the other seating area near the patio doors. One lamp in the upstairs bedroom did not work. It was hard for all of us to read.Also, there were no fans in two of the bathrooms. The bathroom on the first floor had an especially slippery floor after showering so I would use caution when showering.

Wonderful Home

This is a great home in a quiet neighborhood. It has absolutely everything you could need
 and want! We enjoyed the bikes, pool, hot tub and fishing poles. It was comfortable for a week of remote work followed by a weekend with our teenagers. We look forward to returning soon!

Family get away:

The property was perfect for us. We had 6 adults and 8 kids age 4-13. We had just enough sleeping accommodations. The pool and hot tub were constantly used and worked perfectly. The dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer were constantly used and worked perfectly.The location of the property worked very well. We were able to visit the Ft. Meyers beach area a couple times and then spent the others days hanging out at our own pool. The adults loved the triple patio doors. It was our gathering place for coffee in the morning but also allowed us to keep and easy eye on the kids when they were in the pool.We would highly recommend this location for any family get together.

Stu and Cathy, we have been married since 1980. We have four children and twelve grandchildren to date. We invested in our first VRBO property in 2011 and have not looked back. Cathy's dream was to run a bed and breakfast and this is along that line, simply no breakfast...sorry! Stu is an amazing customer service man. Cathy likes to do the background work, researching, rehabbing and of course the decorating. We have come up with our own unique mix of classic, new and vintage. We look for properties with amazing views and something with a WOW to it. We vacation both long and short term in our homes, we bring our children and grandchildren along with us as much as possible. We must make them family friendly. We strive to provide you with excellent service and an amazingly easy trip. We want to wheel our suitcases off of the airplane and have everything prepared and available for us and for you. OUR REVIEWS TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW! Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I love this house it emits a warm cozy atmosphere. The views are breathtaking. Especially in the evening when the sun turns the sky and water a soft pink. We get a kick out of watching our grandsons pull one huge fish after another out of the freshwater lake. The four bedrooms plus the sleeper sofa allow us plenty of room to sleep and yet have our own space. The heated saltwater pool gets a lot of use from all of us. And we've added the two person detached therapeutic spa just outside of the screened lanai. We enjoy the warm weather of Florida, the beaches, the long sunny days, being outside all of the time, opening our windows to let the breeze in, and being able to do outside sports, biking, kayaking all the time.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love Cape Coral. Stu's parents owned property and we vacationed here every year with our family. We purchased this property because we have two other homes in Cape Coral, one just a five minute kayak/bike ride away! Stu loves to fish with our grandsons. We love to kayak, I love the views. Now that our family is up to 22 and counting we needed room for them and a little peace for us. We are hoping that this will appeal to many of our guests as well who vacation with friends and family. This is not your typical Florida home, but it spoke to me. The view is perfect, we love the pool and landscaping, the shake shingles remind us of a Maine style house in Florida! I loved the challenge of remaking it to bring the outside in and to cozy it up. The results are stunning I think you will agree!
