You canā€™t beat the location! We stayed here in the off season, but during winter and summer this location is perfect! Truly ski-in, ski-out, and steps away from great hiking and biking! We loved that we could easily walk into town for shopping and eating. The parking is on site and easy access. The hot tubs and pool were great for the family! The condo itself was great for our family for a long weekend. Our teenagers loved the bunk room and the extra mattress was perfect for our 10-year old. Meredith (the host) is so helpful and informative. We will definitely be back!

This location was great and we enjoyed our stay! The check-in process could be easier - be aware there is no self check-in. The host was very nice but multiple check ins and a 40 minute tour immediately upon arrival with a toddler after a long day of travel was too much. If it couldā€™ve been 10-15 minute that wouldā€™ve sufficed.

Cozy Condo/Great Location

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Meredithā€™s condo. Super clean, plenty of necessities and very quiet. Lionshead Square is a beautiful property, well maintained with a courteous staff and ideally located near the mountain and lots of shopping and dining. Meredith made sure we had everything we needed.

Great location, very helpful owner, great amenities

We had a great time staying at Lion Square Lodge. The location was amazing. You really can't get closer to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. We enjoyed the many amenities the lodge offers such as the pool, hot tubs, sauna, cookies, hot chocolate, and helpful advice. The owner is wonderful to work with and works hard to your every need. It was. joy to meet her. Our family of five highly recommends this condo!

So close to the Gondola

We stayed here for a girls weekend. The three of us fit perfectly in the small condo. As stated there is no view but the unit is very quiet. It had a comfortable sitting area to chat and a full kitchen. We did not use this as you are so close to everything. The location is unbeatable and thereā€™s a ski valet right on the base area. Just put on your boots and go. The property had two hot tubs and a pool with a view of the mountains. The lobby had coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. Meredith is a wonderful host who made sure we got the best parking place. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Beautiful and well-kept pools and common areas. Short walk to town where you can enjoy shops, restaurants, etc. Only one complaint was we came back mid-day one afternoon and there was no parking available so we had to pay $35 for overnight public parking further away and walk back to the condo. Maybe there could be vouchers or something for when that happens?

Wonderful location for a Vail getaway

We stayed for three nights in August for a summer wedding. The location and property amenities are excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and the unit had everything we needed. The location of the underground garage, just steps from the unit's back door, made for easy access to the Village and the creekside trails. I would highly recommend his unit as a high-value location for a Vail vacation at any time of year.

Great location and unit

We had a great stay! The unit was accurately described, and you truly cannot beat the location. Meredith was a great host, and she provided us with recommendations and information throughout our stay. There is no view, which is accurately noted in the listing, but the unit is so close to the underground parking garage that it more than makes up for the lack of view by having direct access to the outdoors. With children, the convenience of a ski in, ski out location helped keep us on the slopes as long as possible each day and made it easy to go to dinner and get ice cream in the evenings. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this unit on a future trip to Vail!

Steps from Eagle Bahn gondola, with ski valet right there. Everything you need in the kitchen to make meals in. Great hot tub with views of the mountains and skier bridge. Washer/dryer in unit very convenient - and free laundry detergent available at guest laundry on the same floor.

My new hubby & I met on Vail's amazing slopes where we enjoy the incomparable Back Bowls, Blue Sky Basin, and the amazing convenience of LionSquare Lodge. What a romantic place it was for us to share from Day 1, and we celebrated our 1st anniversary there 3 years later! Let us show you our favorite powder stashes or bike trails!
After growing up on the icy slopes of the East, it was always my dream to live in Colorado and ski the fluffy powder! I made that happen and moved to Vail to raise my daughters in this magnificent setting that offers so much. As a psychologist, I know the importance of having a hassle-free vacation to 'rejuvenate' and make the most of your time off!
Having owned our 2 condos at LionSquare Lodge since the girls were 1 & 5, I can't imagine a more convenient way to enjoy the slopes and amenities for families with children at any age. Vail offers the best of everything to adults and children, teens and singles. From the time my girls were little, LIonSquare Lodge has been their 'other' home, with its friendly, warm, ambiance that is welcoming and convenient. LOCATION, CONVENIENCE, AMENITIES, VALUE, SERVICES!
There is not a better location anywhere! My friend, who is a ski resort development consultant, says there is no condo/hotel complex with a better proximity to a ski slope anywhere in the world (and he tried to buy out all the owners 20 years ago, but they would'n't sell)! My condo has the best view of the slopes, and is both luxurious and comfortable. The ski shop is literally across the hall, and all the FREE amenities are fabulous!
