A sólo dos cuadras de Silverstrand Beach, este acogedor, soleado, casa de playa es perfecto para unas vacaciones en familia divertido, emocionante viaje de surf con amigos o simplemente relajarse en el sol. A poca distancia de la isla de canal albergar usted tendrá muchas opciones de restaurantes y tiendas.

La planta baja tiene una cama king-size cómoda y TV en el maestro. Se abre a un patio privado romántico, donde podrá disfrutar de su café de la mañana o por la noche gorro de dormir.

El segundo dormitorio tiene dos nuevas camas. Ambas habitaciones cuentan con amplia capacidad de almacenamiento, la ropa de cama, con un montón de almohadas.
El cuarto de baño ha sido completamente remodelado en diciembre de 2014.

La planta superior cuenta con una cocina remodelada totalmente equipada con todo lo necesario para preparar cualquier comida o un microondas para calentar una merienda rápida. El comedor siete, así como esta casa de dos pisos tiene una enorme terraza soleada, con una parrilla de barbacoa de gas y muebles de jardín. Así que usted se sentirá como en casa, la sala de estar tiene una TV / DVD y todas las habitaciones están configurados para conexiones a Internet.

Como extra se puede disfrutar de un tiempo de ocio familiar de calidad en el garaje convertido. O disfrutar de algunos "nosotros" tiempo que los niños jugar en los juegos de ping pong, de mesa y de vídeo o ver la televisión. También tiene capacidad para dos en el futón en esas cálidas noches de verano.

Peace and comfort at the beach

Had a wonderful month here in this cute home with large sundeck, easy walk to pristine sandy beach and restaurants. Great accommodations, Ping Pong, gas BBQ, full kitchen, Smart TVs and comfy beds. Owner is very easy to reach and responds in a timely manner.

When we first moved into the property, it smelled so badly and was awful to walk into. That was just the start of my cleaning, non-stop, to try to make things better. It did not work, as hard as I cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned.The toilet was leaking and covering part of the bathroom floor with toilet water. When I informed the owner, we had been walking in toilet water for weeks, I was told that I was wrong. He eventually replaced the toilet. After three months, I found out I had been sleeping next to black mold behind the bed. When I told the owner I found mold behind the master bed, he said that I could go to the store and find special “paint to cover it up.” I soon developed breathing problems and had to be taken to the emergency room the night of September 3rd. The doctor and all the nurses said that it was black mold and to get out. We moved out of the back bedroom immediately. We finally found a new rental and moved out on September 8th, 2025.I am still trying to get my money back from the owner for the months that I paid ahead of time. Nobody should have to live in a house with black mold, it is a serious problem.

Awsome Home Away From Home

My wife is a Traveling Nurse and in April we needed a home for two months, we also needed a place that would take a pet and found this home thru our company agency. We had a great time staying here and really hated to leave!

Had a great time! Will come back again

We were planning on moving to the Ventura area and needed a place to stay at while we searched for a home. We found Hal and Jacklyn's home on the VRBO site and were able to move in right away. We stayed for three months. The price was reasonable, the neighbors are wonderful and we had a great time there. The house is warm and inviting with everything we needed. It is a great area very close to the beach. There was a small problem when we first moved in with the internet, so I notified Hal and he took care of the issue that day. He not only increased the internet speed, but he also increased the amount of Tv channels available for us without charging anymore....He really went out of his way to make certain we had everything needed...I would definitely recommend this home.

Awesome 4th of July! Absolutely Amazing Oxnard Location!

My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. Absolutely Amazing Oxnard Location! We have stayed here a couple of times, once for a week and another for about 2 months over the summer. Really love love the remodels they did... Bathroom remodeled.. New furniture... Kids loved the new ping pong table... Even replaced the BBQ since our last stay... Totally would recommend this place. Extremely close to the beach. Oxnard is not too far from Ventura Beach and shopping. One more thing... The owners were awesome and easy to work with. Absolute bonus is you know what I mean!!!

Perfect location close to beach

My brother, niece her husband and I stayed over Labor day weekend and had a great time. The location was perfect with the beach and harbor within a 2 minute walk. We walked down for sunset every evening. The rental had everything you could want the only recommendation I would have would to provide some fans though not usually necessary as I understand we had the best weather they have had all summer there. The neighborhood was very safe and neighbors were friendly. every night everyone would walk around and say hello to each other. The washer and dryer were very large and very convenient. We had nightly ping pong games. The owner was very easy to do business with. I would rent again in a heartbeat

Great place and location

My wife and I and some friends decided to rent this beach house for New Years and had a blast. We were skeptical at first because of one bad review that mentioned fleas but we talked to Hal, the owner and decided to give it a shot. We weren't disappointed. Absolutely no fleas and we had a great experience! The house is in a great location.. a couple of blocks from Sliverstrand Beach and a block from some good restaurants, bar, corner store, and yoga studio. This a great beach house and has everything that you need. Kitchen with an open floor plan that opens to a nice sunny deck with a BBQ, comfortable bed, warm shower with good water pressure. big garage with plenty of storage for beach gear, ping pong table, beach cruisers, games, etc. etc. Hal, the owner is a good guy and will take care of you. On the 2nd day the water heater randomly failed and even though it was a holiday weekend, he came out and replaced it with a brand new tank himself. I'd get up in the morning and walk to the surf and my wife could walk to Yoga. We also road to beach cruisers to grab a bite, check out the neighborhood or venture to the Hollywood beach side. Overall you are in a great location to day trip to Malibu, Ojai, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez. Thanks again Hal

Fantastic beach house

My family had a great stay at your home. It was very close to the beach and we loved the neighborhood. Everything was clean and well maintained. Thank you for opening your home to us. We had a fantastic time, you thought of everything!! We played ping pong and rode bikes everyday, but I think we enjoyed the bbq on the deck the most!! We are definitely excited to come back in February for my sisters wedding, so save us a space ! :)

disappointing

Myself my wife, daughter and son in law stayed a week in August 2012. There is good and bad to say about this rental. The location is around 400 steps or so to the sand so proximity to the beach was awesome. There are some great places within 300 steps of the property. Theres a decent corner store which is expensive but handy, a small sushi place again expensive but handy and GOOD. A local bar and restaurant = average. And a great mexican taco stand literally at the end of the street. The bad. The house had no air con or FANS which is a problem as it can get warm, to make things worse the screens on the windows are in disrepair or not on at all. So you either sweat or have bugs. The internet connection is useless (I actually got a frogware virus) and slow. The tv has about 15 stations mainly info mercials and hispanic tv. The street and neighbours were loud and noisy and everybody had a dog that barked at some point throughout the night. Perhaps the thing that I hated the most was that either the couch upstairs or the bedroom downstairs had fleas. I counted 18 bites when I left and they are STILL not healed. If you dont mind getting fleabit, watching crap on tv, getting a virus on your `puter and not sleeping because of barking dogs then this for you. In all fairness, I was the only one to get flea bites.

In reading over this review the first thing that comes to mind is that we had 5 other families stay directly after this guest with only one call to us. And that was as to how to connect the internet. In our guest book each saying how wonderful everything was. One of them was my son’s family including my baby grand daughter who stayed two nights. Believe me if there was a problem he would let us know about it. And it is very slanderous to say he got flea bites in our home especially since he did not see them and no one else in the home got any bites. ;( Any of the things this gentleman was unsettled about would have been taken care of with one phone call to us immediately . We could have instructed him on how to use the internet here and where the fan was. We have basic cable and internet service from Time Warner which consists of 128 channels on all four televisions. The internet as stated on the welcome page - for instructions for our home, is through the USB cable at the dining table and is very fast. We have found it much faster than the wireless in this area and is completely safe.. Much safer than wireless. We have a fan in the downstairs closet - although I doubt it gets used much as it usually never gets hot enough at this coastal location. Here was a screen missing in the kitchen window as it was being repaired. And has of course been put back. But that leaves two other windows that could have been opened upstairs. This is not just a rental it is our home. It is professionally cleaned after each guest, we stay here often and take pride in providing a clean safe environment for people to enjoy. We where very accommodating with this guest granting a request to come early on the day of arrival and then having our cleaning crew wait for an hour because they did not leave at the contracted check out time. We have enjoyed opening our home to people for 8 years with never a single bad review and look forward to doing so in the future. This is a wonderful home in a great happy quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful time!!!!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. Great location short walk to the beach(2-3 min.) Everything you need to have a great time is provided from beach chairs to surf board to bikes and ping pong and of course 2 gas bottels for the gas grill. The deck was very nice we were able to celebrate the 4th of july and my birthday with my family and had plenty of room for all. The neighbors are super friendly. We wanted to give an excellent rating but because the screen door for balconey was not installed and a mop would have been nice while we were here for 2 weeks. Again super house and would stay here again gladly!!

Fantastic!!!

We absolutely adored the house. It really felt like home. We spent most of our time on the deck relaxing. A lot of entertainment for the kids and only 2 blocks from the beach. Our son loved the beach area. The breaker wall and harbor provided a large amount of sea life; from a sea lion to star fish. WONDERFUL TIME!! If we get the chance to visit again will be renting this house again.

Clean and Cozy - A great family get away!

What you see in the photos is exactly what the house is... sunny and a walk to the beach. The channel island trip was a great day trip just minutes from the house to the ferry. Friendly neighborhood with great surfing. The owners provided bikes and a ping pong table. We had fun.

Fantastic Home!

We have rented 3 other VRBO homes; from Puerto Rico to Florida. This one is the best we have ever rented! It is not right on the beach, but the location is a great little surfing area. Everyone was friendly and laid back. The house is beautifully remodelled. The beds are very comfortable, even great pillows. The kitchen if absolutely fantastic. Great pans, knives, etc. Even provides a gas grill with fuel. The ping pong table, surf boards, bikes are so generous. Most owners lock everything up. You were very generous, and we hope we treated your home as we would our own. We entertained our Air Force son and friends. Everyone said it was like having dinner in their own home. So comfortable. We had a fantastic time. And local restaurants were great. We even liked that the guys could walk to the local bar, and not have to risk driving. Air Force is REALLY strict, and even our son appreciates that now! Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy our home. Let us know if you ever want to visit Wisconsin. We'll let you use our cottage in the woods! Cheri
