Del Mar Villa Retreat

The Del Mar Villa property is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen, laundry facility, and bathroom provide all of the conveniences of home. We slept well in our queen size bed and spent many relaxing hours in our cozy living room and patio. My husband and I would especially like to thank, Jeanne, our rental owner and manager for her warm hospitality. We appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Well-equipped

In eight weeks, I never bought so much as a roll of toilet paper! Condo had sandwich bags, shampoo, body wash, paper towels, leftover containers, lots of hangers, detergents, spices, everything I needed, more than any other rental I’ve used. Perfect location.

Place is dark , moldy, not able park in front of building Lights must be on entire day !! Smells No body pick up the phone that was left in the place!! Although promised be able to contact if there is a problem

Small one bed one bath centrally located

Great location with easy access to shops, beaches, play houses and theaters, walking trails. Coastal weather pattern kept unit location cooler all days except during heat wave. Only fans in unit/ no air conditioning. Family friendly complex. I felt safe walking in this active neighborhood and leaving windows open 24/7. No issues with vehicle security in parking area. Some maintenance is required for leaky dishwasher, noisy ceiling fan and torn front door screen. Ants were problematic and store bought products ineffective at controlling them. No ice maker so weekly trips for ice were necessary. Only a toaster oven so limited baking. Owner came immediately to replace smoke alarm battery when notified of chirping sound and responded quickly to inquiries. Bed mattress is soft. All paper products and laundry soap in ample supply. I enjoyed my stay and would rent again.

Best Spot In San Diego!

We absolutely loved this place. It is on the ground floor in a quiet location within a short driving distance from pretty much anywhere we wanted to go, including the beaches, old town, the Presidio, and most importantly, our son and his family. The kitchen was well stocked, and the furnishings were understated but perfect for two, including two reclining rocking chairs and a sunny gated front porch with table and chairs that made the place feel more spacious and light. We took advantage of tennis, the fitness center, and the hot tub and would have loved to swim every day has the weather been warmer. Highly recommended!!

A perfect stay

Jeanne has this place set up perfectly. A comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom and bedroom with ample storage. TVs in living room (with super comfy recliners) and bedroom. Pretty much everything you could ever need was provided, and Jeanne was only a call away if I needed anything extra. Access to the pool and gym was great. I was working in La Jolla for an extended period, which was less than 10 minutes drive. This was a beautiful, quiet little spot to call home.

A very clean, cozy and comfortable place to enjoy Del Mar and it’s attractions.

We spent one month in this wonderful condo. The condo is very clean and comfortable and the perfect location for restaurants, Starbucks and grocery stores. It is ten minutes from the beautiful Del Mar beach. The condo is well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The owner Jeanne is very responsive. After settling in we had a couple of questions about the television and Jeanne was there in five minutes to go over everything with us. Jeanne is a perfect owner. We can’t wait to return.
