Merinäköala Condo Akumalin paratiisissa - MERI ILMAINEN

Riviera Mayan sydämessä, vain 30 minuutin päässä Playa del Carmenista ja tunnin päässä Cancunista, tämä henkeäsalpaava paikka sopii erinomaisesti rauhalliseen pakoon perheelle tai pienelle ryhmälle. Akumal tunnetaan parhaiten kristallinkirkkaista vesistään sekä maan ja meren kasvista ja eläimistöstä. "Akumal" mayankielellä tarkoittaa "maa kilpikonnia", joten se olisi tärkein syy olla ohita tämä aito paikka! Haluatpa sitten harrastaa sukellusta, snorklausta tai vain uida meressä, olet varmasti nähnyt hämmästyttävät olennot ja sen kala ystävät, jotka nauttivat bahia. Vaikka tämä on suosittu sivusto ympäristöystävällisille matkailijoille, se on edelleen yksi syrjäisimmistä paikoista paikallisille eläimillemme. Akumalin naapuruus on luonut assosioinnin paikallisten ja kiinteistöjen omistajien kanssa tässä pikkukaupungissa luomaan suuntaviivoja ja sääntöjä, jotta kaikki lomailijat voivat nauttia tästä maapähkinästä täysimittaisesti mutta silti suojella Akumalin jalokiviä! Half Moon Bay, joka on täydellinen ja rentouttava paikka kilpikonnat tulemaan ja sijoittaa munansa yksi monista suojelluilla alueilla HMB, jossa huoneisto sijaitsee.

Yksi Akumalin tärkeimmistä nähtävyyksistä on se, että se sijaitsee aivan maailman toiseksi suurimmalla riutalla ja sen ympäristössä löytyy yli 200 erilaista merkkiä sinkholeihin (cenotes) ja maanalaisiin jokiin. Riippumatta siitä, mihin tiein ajetat tai mitä käännä sinä otat, on aina vihje lähellä vierailla.

Meidän huoneisto (numero 6/7) on osa osakehuoneisto nimeltä La Sirena. Tämä huoneisto koostuu kahdesta yksiköstä yksi! Joten sen ylimääräinen tilava, jolloin suurin valo ja parhaat näkymät ympäröivälle rannalle, merelle, uima-altaalle ja puutarhaan! Sinulla on kaikki!

Condoissa on kolme isoa makuuhuonetta, joissa on oma kylpyhuone. Lisä WC on aivan ruokasalissa ja TV-alueella. Lisäksi baari on strategisesti sijoitettu suuri olohuone upein näkymä merelle ja helppo pääsy parvekkeelle. Siksi, riippumatta siitä, haluatko nauttia näkymistä auringon alla, lämpöä ja tuulta parvekkeelta tai ilmastoitua baarista mukavasti, valtameri on juuri sinun kanssasi! Voit vain huolehtia juomista vaikka :)

Itse asiassa, riippumatta siitä, missä olet tilavassa keittiössä, olohuoneessa tai ruokasalissa, näkymä on sinun! Katso kuvia ja katso itse ja sitten lennä tänne ja vain JUO!

Iltaisin, ehkä lepotilassa lasten kanssa, voit nauttia elokuvasta uudella taulutelevisiolla tai pelata lautapelejä suurella ruokapöydällä kahdeksalle hengelle.

Jos olet valmis tutkimaan jotain La Sirenan ja condoiden ulkopuolella, ehkä on aika mennä Lagoon YalKu -matkaan, joka on kirjaimellisesti viiden minuutin kävelymatka. Siellä voit snorklata enemmän ja nauttia loputtomasta merielämästä.

Iltaisin kävellä kadulla tai pitkin rantaa johtaa sinut melkoihin paikallisiin ravintoloihin, joissa on hyvää ruokaa! Ravintolat tekevät suuria ponnistuksia tervetulleiksi vieraidensa kanssa elävää musiikkia ja meksikolaista tunnelmaa.

We absolutely loved this property. There were some issues with water but the property manager was super responsive and they resolved it quickly. We loved Half Moon Bay and Akumal. I'd stay here a million times over again!

Large space with oceanfront views steps from half moon bay

Wonderful property, a ton of space, clean, perfect views of half moon bay. Water shoes needed as entry is rocky. Swam with a sea turtle in front of the condo. Yal-Ku is less than a 5 minute walk away. Akumal is a quiet town but very nice and this made a great home base.

Perfect place for an intergenerational gathering

Grandparents, mother, and grandsons gathered and enjoyed this paradise. Close to all child activities: turtles, dolphins, monkeys, cenotes, etc. Tidepooling right out the door. Lovely pool. This is a lovely, extremely well-appointed home with terraces directly facing the ocean. It has many authentic Mexican touches. The only difficult thing was how sad everyone was to leave.

Slice of paradise

Beautiful, amazingly tranquil setting. You can't help but smile as you walk by the beautiful gardens and pool on your way to the condo and then instantly relax as soon as you walk through the door. The sea views are spectacular! We have stayed here multiple times with 3 adults, each of us having our own comfortable bedroom and bathroom with lots of space. We love the artwork along with the well equipped kitchen and bar. Rosa keeps everything very clean and spotless. This whole area is peaceful and the snorkeling is amazing. There is always shade and a palapa available. The host and staff are always very accommodating and friendly too!

Perfect vacation rental!

This property was fully equipped and beautiful. The only thing that would make it better, is the beach entry, isn't sandy, so a little difficult to get in and out. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful Getaway on the Beach!

This unit was stunning, spacious, very clean, and perfect for a family or three couples! The view from all windows was spectacular! Well appointed! The grounds of La Sirena were also gorgeous and very well taken care of!

Comfortable space and lovely setting

The condo has a great view of Half Moon Bay and direct water access for snorkeling. It is large with several gathering spaces, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable king size beds. Lovely gardens surrounding the pool. We used bikes for short ride to main beach and restaurant area. Snorkel gear, swim noodles and yoga mats provided. Bring water shoes since beach entrance is rocky.

Fantastic stay in Akumal

The unit is very bright, spacious and well appointed. Located at the end of the road and very quiet. Easy access to Yal-Lu lagoon with exceptional snorkeling. We appreciated the snorkel gear and water shoes supplied in the condo. Pool is lovely - we took a dip every evening and spent days lounging at the beach, snorkeling and sightseeing. Rosa provided daily housekeeping which truly enhanced our stay! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect in every way

Well named, this is a lovely and serene spot. Very well maintained. Walking distance from small shops and restaurants. The management and staff were incredibly helpful. Each of the three en suite bedrooms were comfortable and private. Very well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend.

Lovely Stay

My family and I had a lovely stay at La Sirena. The unit was spacious, well equipped and we very much appreciated all of the water toys. Access into the Half Moon Bay for snorkeling is easier at La Sirena, but be sure to have water shoes. There is always enough palapas and seats on the beach. You can’t beat the pool and gardens at La Sirena. Not to mention, you can watch the sunset from the balcony, which is not possible at most complexes in half moon bay. Thank you.

Amazing place!

This place is even more beautiful in person. The furniture, art and of course the amazing view all exceeded expectations. We loved listening to the waves at night and sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen was well stocked and so fun to cook in while watching the waves. The pool was beautiful and the beach was always clear and had available chairs. Wear water shoes as there’s a lot of coral but great snorkeling. Would highly recommend this place and Akumal was such a charming town with restaurants within walking distance.

That View is Amazing

We loved our stay! The view is amazing here, the floor to celing windows in the master offer an amazing view from bed. We loved listening to the ocean at night. The deck was also a favorite hangout looking out over half moon bay. The snorkeling was really good. We had our 4 kids out seeing amazing fish. The house very nice , and the location is the perfect spot to visit Akumal Bay, Tulum and several amazing cenotes. We loved it.

Gorgeous views; great hospitality

We love Unit #6/7 at La Sirena. The views are to die for. The size of the condo is LARGE. Three full master bed and bathrooms plus a 4th half bath. Francesca is onsite all the time and takes care of any issues that may come up. The grounds are always clean and taken care of. It's hard not love staying on Half Moon Bay in Akumal at La Sirena!

Great Week in Akumal

Our family of five had a wonderful week long stay at La Sirena - beautiful views, great snorkeling, lots to do. When you get tired of eating out in restaurants, be sure to walk down to "Las 3 Acapulquenas Cocina Economica" for excellent take out food to eat in the condo or on the beach. Teresa and Raquel are lovely and will even deliver. There is so much to do on the peninsula, but don't miss out on "down days" at La Sirena, the beach is so relaxing, there is always an open lounge chair and the snorkeling right in front of the condo is not to be missed.

Wonderful family experience

We had a wonderful vacation! The property has a spectacular view of the bay on one side and beautiful gardens and pool on the other. The condo was immaculate, roomy, and comfortable. It had everything we needed for cooking in, and a great assortment of snorkling gear. The location couldn’t be better with bay, pool and lagoon available. We loved bicycling into the village for groceries or dinner. Also, the staff was incredibly responsive to any requests, from light bulbs to bikes to Covid tests. So far the sargassum is manageable on this end of the bay; sure hope this continues.

This place is the best

We loved everything about our stay. The service was excellent. The location was perfect. We loved every minute and we’re coming back soon. Any small issues we had were resolved very quickly with a lot of friendliness. The apartment was huge. My only very minor recommendation would be to change out the beach towels more often because they get very wet and dirty and dry slowly and only having them changed once a week was a little bit difficult for us. Our youngest child was four and I think if you had a child under three years old, the railing on the balcony would be a bit dangerous because of the large gaps. Other than that everything was amazing. The snorkeling right outside the condo was the best.

Condo mansion

This condo was a luxurious paradise with the ocean steps away. I recommend stocking up on groceries in Playa Del Carmen and hiring a turtle snorkel guide from the Akumal Dive Shop. Host saved us from being homeless, as she let us check in one night earlier than planned, when our Tulum housing fell through, due to flooding. Host had large variety of snorkel equipment and pool floaties, which was so convenient. We saw a stingray, small colorful fish, and urchins in the water by the condo. Every bedroom had a comfy, beautiful bed and its own balcony. Far exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much. My family of six had a fabulous time.

True delight when Internet vacation rentals can be questionable

There was a golden era of internet vacation rentals when listings were truthful and properties tended to be nice. Then scammers learned how to manipulate postings and reviews, and very often you don't really get what you think you will. That's not the case here. This property in Akumal was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The place is spotless, the snorkeling awesome, the safety wonderful, the amenities exactly as advertised, and the communication perfect. Daily housekeeping was a joy, cooking the occasional meal in the kitchen was relaxing (sometimes going out all the time is wearisome), and access to nearby attractions like Tulum and Xcaret was great. In short, this is a place we wouldn't hesitate to return to.

Spacious, comfortable, and fabulous view

This second floor condo is spacious and comfortable. On one side is a pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. On the other is a sandy waterfront area with beach chairs and palapa for those who prefer shade. Make sure to bring water shoes since the entrance for snorkeling and swimming is rocky. In the condo you will find a variety of snorkel masks, fins, noodles, boogie boards, and yoga mats. The master bedroom overlooks the bay and it is magical to watch the sunrise. Three comfortable king beds, each with own complete bathroom. The best equipped kitchen in any rental we have stayed in, also has a charcoal grill. We didn’t need a car for multi-week stay. More fun and cheaper to rent bikes for rides to restaurants and use delivery from Riviera Maya groceries.

Our family stayed in this beautiful and spacious condo in late June 2018, we were returning to Akumal from a previous visit 12 years ago. The condo was perfect for our family with tweens/teens. The deck offers a jaw-dropping view, from where I could watch my kids snorkel, or read and sip on drinks from the private beach, equipped with chaise-lounges under pu-pu huts and palms. Each bedroom suite is situated with: (1) Privacy from the common area, (2) A bathroom, (3) Private deck access with a lockable door, and (4) Air conditioning. Although the common area has many choices for socializing, including a large dining table, we ate breakfast and hung out on the deck every morning. The kitchen is well-equipped, but near-by restaurants offer beach dining at very reasonable prices, so we tended to eat out. The gardens on the property are equivalent to a high-end botanical garden and very peaceful. The condo is situated at the far end of Akumal, which allows for some peace away from town, but near enough to offer many choices for dining. The location is steps away from Yal-Ku ecological preserve, underwater park (snorkeling), and sculpture garden. A note about Akumal and Sargassum seaweed deserves some mention. Because this property is on a point on Half Moon Bay, it is protected from the Sargassum sea weed that has affected some of the beaches in Akumal.

Spring break with adult kids

We loved our stay at La Sirena!! Beautiful garden and pool area as you enter, private quiet beach area with plenty of loungers and palapas oceanside. Definitely the more quiet, peaceful end of the road compared to up near Akumal beach. The condo was one of the best equipped VRBO rentals we’ve stayed in. More than enough space for 3 couples. We each even had our own balcony off of our rooms. We loved being able to snorkel every day right out our back door. We saw 1 sea turtle, 2 spotted eagle rays, several manta rays and smaller rays. Countless colorful fish, an eel, cuttlefish, so many spiny starfish, beautiful sea fans and coral!! We brought some of our own snorkel gear but there were plenty of fins, snorkels, and life vests. If you are avid snorkelers, I'd suggest you bring your own mask. (We only found 2 that worked for our group) The only downside that we could think of is that the water pressure is very low - hard to get all the shampoo rinsed off- and it takes quite a while to heat up. It was nice to have Rosa to sweep the sand, tidy up, and put away dishes daily. If you've been to Akumal before, be warned that you are very limited in where you can snorkel for free at Akumal beach these days. That was definitely a disappointment. My daughter did see 2 turtles in the free area though.

I am half English, half German. I was raised and lived in both countries during my childhood. I have lived in Mexico for over 15 years now and have been with my Mexican husband 16 years, with whom I have an eight year old daughter. We three live in Cancun, which is one hour from Akumal. I did my degree in pedagogy and my masters in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy and speak three languages fluently. Currently, I give therapy in the private sector 3 days a week and the other 2 I dedicate to property management. The latter commitment came as a result of a combination of factors. My husband is a lawyer focused mainly on real estate (deeding, trust funds, escrows etc) and partners with a Notary. Most his clients are foreigners and while I was doing my masters degree and couldn’t yet give therapy, I was approached by his clients to help manage some of the properties. They were aware that I was renting two of my own holiday homes in Cancun and Playa del Carmen and trusted me to do the same for them. So, one thing led to another and as I was getting increasingly recommended for such administration, I was eventually at a point of combining both my fields, therapy and property management. I love both.

This is definitely one of my favorite properties. I love how Akumal offers almost everything but keeps the small town atmosphere. I have been going there twice a week for almost four years now and know most locals, who prove to be extreemly kind people. I also love the owners of this particular condo because they are just so easy going about making sure that their place is in the best possible conditions and homey and welcoming to their guests.

I love that although the owners are from the USA, they are so taken by the Mexican style that they perfectly combine the local style with the high end American standards. My favorite part in this condo is the fountain filled with plants in the middle of the dining room.

We can provide baby furniture and utensils upon request and prior tu arrival - high chair, crib, monitor, tall bath, dishes, etc... Subject to availability.
