Kick your shoes off and relax. You've found the perfect hideaway! This large corner unit is brightly decorated and is conveniently located on the ground floor. Furnished with a colorful mix of Mexican art, Mi Casa del Mar-A5 includes everything you need for a fun and refreshing vacation. Large picture windows span the front wall of the living and dining room with uninterrupted views of the Caribbean. Count the shades of blue and green as you gaze at the ocean. The living room is decorated with vivid tropical colors and lots of sofa room.

The spacious covered oceanfront terrace is well furnished for 'al fresco' dining, relaxing in the chaise lounges, or swaying in the hammock. Only steps away is a fabulous infinity edge pool overlooking the ocean. All you need is a swimsuit and a cold drink!

A5 has two large bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 people, 4 in the bedrooms and 1 on a twin bed that can be rolled out from under the queen bed. Note: the living room is very bright in the mornings when the sun rises and there are no shades on the large windows. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms only.

In the serenely decorated master bedroom, you will find a comfortable king-sized bed, plenty of closet and storage space, safe, individually controlled air-conditioner, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and brand new granite counters and sinks.Hairdryers, extra pillows, blankets, and beach towels are provided.

The second bedroom is cheerfully decorated with Mexican handicrafts and offers a queen-sized bed and lots of closet space and storage. A conveniently located second full bathroom is adjacent to this bedroom.

The fully equipped kitchen also with new granite counters makes cooking light meals a breeze. Equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffeepot, tableware for 8, and purified drinking water.

The dining table seats 6 and seating for 4 on the terrace, along with seating at the kitchen peninsula for 2. Discover for yourself why visitors return to Akumal year after year. If you are looking for an oceanfront getaway, Mi Casa del Mar A5 has it all!

Mi Casa del Mar was perfect for us. We had a wonderful stay - loved just being able to sit on the loungers and watch the waves, and occasionally cool off in the pool. We rented bikes and the location was perfect for easy rides into the village for coffee and groceries, and the other way to Yal Ku - an absolutely wonderful snorkeling experience. We would bring a few kitchen supplies if we come again, such as salt and pepper, but found the utensils were more than adequate. Meredith was very responsive when we had queries, which were few and far between.

We like this condo and its location very much! Beautiful pool and easy walk into the village. We also felt very safe, and maid service every day was great. Stayed her last year; might come again next year.

Amazing condo!

Condo was perfect for the 4 of us! 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Fantastic location ! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and enjoy some R & R. Close to Tulúm and many different beautiful cenotes and lots of great snorkeling.

We loved our place in Akumal. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The condo was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. To go to a sandy beach we needed to walk on rocks for about 10 minutes.

Amazing location and view!

This Akumal condo was great! We loved our stay here. The patio was where we spent most of our time. The views and breeze were amazing. Location is wonderful, and the food nearby was excellent. No concerns at all from no having AC besides in the bedrooms, we didn't miss that at all. Staff was also great! We feel like we finally found the perfect vacation spot in this area. We will be back!

Quiet and peaceful

The condo is spacious, pretty, and in a beautiful location, very quiet but with ocean waves as background sound. The beds are very hard, not our favorite but okay. The entry process was disjointed and awkward but other than these entry problems, this is a truly wonderful place to stay. We wished we had much more than 5 nights.

Fabulous place to stay in Akumal.

This is a perfect property for two couples or a family of four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a patio just steps from the pool, snorkeling right out the front door. Housekeeper cleans every day—tables, chairs, windows—everything is thoroughly cleaned every day. We did not rent a car but we could walk to a variety of restaurants and a small grocery. No ATM nearby but taxi took US dollars. Very helpful and accommodating management staff. Highly recommend!

Love Mi Casa del Mar!

We have visited Akumal Playa over 30 times. This was our first stay that was NOT on Half Moon Bay. We quickly fell in love with this property. The view is incredible with the waves and location is so convenient to many of our fav places. Also it is an easier walk to get to the collectivo. Condo was super clean and had all we needed for our 10 day stay. This unit is only a few steps to gorgeous infinity pool. Other guests we met were so nice and all have stayed in this building many times. Check in very easy. Roger & staff are meticulous and super friendly. Cannot wait to stay here again! Wonderful stay!

Spring break

My family stayed here for spring break. The pool is amazing! Half if shallow and the half past the island is deep. Perfect for families. The view is beyond words. I was concerned about the seaweed issue and it was not a problem. Some did get splashed up into the rocks but no smell. We rented a golf cart for half our stay for fun but not necessary. Your walking distance to many restaurants. If I was coming for more than a week, I’d rent a car to explore more areas. It’s a very relaxed and chill area. I’d come again in a heartbeat.

Tranquil, comfortable, beautiful - perfect!

Located almost exactly half-way between Akumal Bay and Half Moon Bay, Mi Casa Del Mar is a 10 min walk in either direction to tasty restaurants, shopping and beautiful beaches. Snorkeling with sea turtles and sting rays was the highlight for sure, but just sitting on the expansive covered patio looking out on the sea was the perfect way to start and end the day. Each day we were greeted by a troupe of iguanas with an occasional agouti and coatamundi coming by during the day or an inquisitive raccoon visiting at night. Hermit crabs frequently used the patio as their own quick route instead of the lawn. Great pool to cool off in, and very comfortable interior space with an adequately appointed kitchen. We cooked for ourselves most days after stocking up at the Chedraui supermarket in Puerto Adventuras on our way from the airport. There is a small market in Akumal that is surprisingly well stocked. Air conditioning in the bedrooms only, so it could get toasty in warmer months, but a consistent sea breeze kept us cool. Small complex that never felt crowded and very friendly and helpful neighbors made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

Perfect Home for Family Adventure

Our family of 5 stayed at this wonderful property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication, directions and the entire check in process were extremely easy. We rented a car in Cancun which helped us to explore Tulum, Coba and other surrounding adventures. We used the kitchen for almost every meal and internet was excellent. The pool was wonderful, with an unbeatable view though it isn't heated (which didn't bother us).The kids swam multiple times a day, even when we had a couple of days of storms and cooler weather. The view from the property was breathtaking and we spent much of our time eating outside, exploring and just soaking up the sun. The rocky coast offers walking access to either Half Moon or Turtle Bays, but we mostly ended up walking south to Turtle Bay (where the guided tours are to swim with the turtles). If you walk this way you do not need to pay an entry fee and there is a pristine beach and world class snorkeling there. We have been coming to the area for more than 15 years and though everything has changed and it is certainly more crowded, it is just as enjoyable. There are many guides offering tours, but it is easy to politely decline and find a place to relax. We recommend the beach in front of the Casitas, although technically private it can be used if you place your belongings just outside of the property sign. This was a magical place for the kids especially and the snorkeling accessible from this beach was better than the paid lagoon.

Stunning location, dream get away house

Mi Casa Del Mar is amazing!! The house was absolutely perfect. The bathrooms were very nice and it had everything we needed. Having coffee in the morning on the porch facing the ocean was a dream! The only part that wasn’t five stars was the check in process. Roger was not there to meet us and the security guard was not expecting us and didn’t know where to take us. We showed her our reservation and she was still clueless. We knew which unit ours was because of the photos in Meredith’s guide and then waited outside the door with the security guard for ten minutes not knowing what to do. We finally realized the door was unlocked but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time so we could have known what to expect. We weren’t able to use WhatsApp to contact Roger because the WiFi code for the building network that was in the welcome guide no longer existed! The unit WiFi had also been changed since the welcome materials were printed making the first few minutes in the house stressful. Once we got everything sorted it was perfect! Meredith’s user guide was super helpful for everything else, just needs to have updated WiFi and check in instructions. Meredith’s place is amazing and we would absolutely recommend it!

Quiet strip of the coast

Beautiful views and very quiet. Not a great location to enter the ocean but in between 2 other beaches. Pretty close to Yalku lagoon and the bus stop is not too far away. We rented a golf cart to help get our young ones around without too much fuss. Lots of supplies provided in the condo. Overall, it was a great stay!!

Water views and relaxation

Everything we'd hoped for: water views and sound, fabulous pool, walking distance to beach and amenities, rental car parking, and relaxed accommodations. Location in Akumal was fabulous for access to town and to nearby activities. Bonus availability of beach towels and some sand/beach toys. Would've liked a little availability of someone to answer questions. Host left informative binder in the unit; very helpful though lacking some specifics (location/directions) for certain suggestions we would've tried. Overall great place to stay that was perfect for our approach to vacation!

Beautiful Condo and View

We wanted a condo where we could relax after a day of snorkeling and this was perfect. Clean. Well stocked. AC for sleeping. And walking distance to Akumal Beach for delicious fish tacos.

This is a very special location on the ground floor, near the swimming pool and it is the condo nearest the ocean. It is very quiet and there is an 180 degree view of the ocean from the main room and the covered patio.
