Relax/Recharge in a Fully Updated Large Corner w/ Beach, Pool & Gardens

NOTE: We are FULLY Licensed and Permitted for renting. This means we have ongoing maintenance, and inspections to ensure proper safety. We also have installed safety features such as carbon monoxide detectors, and have ON SITE dedicated interior maintenance and cleaning staff. Our water heaters are in their own building, NOT within the condo.

Offering the utmost in Caribbean charm and comfort, this spacious fifteen-hundred square foot two bedroom, two bath condominium is located in beautiful Akumal. On the north end of Half Moon Bay, this ocean front condominium is just a few feet away from a white sand beach, and just a few steps further to the water, and a stunning coral reef.

Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to the surf and beach. The owner, a professional landscape designer has transformed her garden area with many unique flaura of the region, including orchids and citrus trees. You will be surrounded by beauty.

The condominium, nestled between the gardens and the beach, on the ground floor, has floor-to-ceiling windows. This provides expansive views to the beach and bay, and along with the extra tall ceilings create an extra sense of spaciousness to the already large open design. As a second living area, the beach-side covered patio is fully screened and in addition to its comfortable seating has a stunning sea-life wall mural of Half Moon Bay! Simply step outside to the lawn area with your own PRIVATE BEACH LOUNGERS and then 5 steps and you are on the beach.

You know you've reached SeaScape just by it's entrance which has a custom stained glass transome depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.

Throughout the condo special touches abound. SeaScape is decorated and outfitted using the best of local materials and craftsmanship: including stained glass, handpainted Talavera ceramics, mexican handblown glass, and sustainable local hardwood furniture.

There are two king-size bedrooms with full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have special orthopedic mattresses and extreme padding, combined with high count egyption cotton linens and multiple pillow types provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL. The master bedroom is done in a contemporary caribbean color scheme and have mexican mohagany closets. The attached master bathroom is spa-like done in local marbles, natural sea glass and shell has a custom mohagany vanity with plenty of drawers and space.

The guest bedroom is decorated has custom headboard crafted of exotic wood tiles from antique ship wrecks; and a hand carved mahogany dresser is sure to delight guests. It has a private patio and seating looking into our expansive gardens. The second bathroom boasts an onyx chunk stone sink, handmade tiles, and local marble walls and floor. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.

The kitchen has beautiful custom made Mexican mahogany cabinetry with plenty of drawers and cabinets. The expanded countertops with cut stone backsplashes, new full size appliances, and double sink provide convience and space for cooking and bartending at the same time! Of course, SeaScape's kitchen is well outfitted for all types of entertaining.

Everything is provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation, including FREE Wifi, FREE parking, FULL maid service, UNLIMITED bottled water, FULL AC, English based satellite, SMART TV with Netflix, Multi-room sound system, etc, etc. As this is the owner's private retreat, there are many extras that won't be found in most other condos. Special features are throughout, just too many to list.

Located on one of the more private beaches in Akumal, the condo's has personal beach loungers, tables and chairs; Palapas and beach loungers are available for your use. Step off into the water and enjoy some of the best snorkeling in the area.

As you can guess, Seascape has many repeat guests that just call up/text and book. Therefore recently, I have started helping other owners in our complex that use the same interior manager and have the same level of standard of cleanliness and amenities. Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. Half Moon Bay (HMB), we are located, is considered the 'original' Akumal, along with Akumal Bay. HMB, now called 'North Akumal' is where most of the beach front houses and small condo complexes are; and is a designated ecological zone, therefore it is very low density. So while you are close to everything you are in the middle of nowhere as it is very private and quieter. North Akumal is a quiet, laid-back area focused on our beautiful bay and beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving. There are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!

About Diana

I have always loved vacationing to and experiencing different cultures. And for some reason could never get enough beach or snorkeing time! We dreamed of owning our own 2nd home, and when we came to Akumal in 1995, it set the standard for our dream. We wanted to create our little slice of paradise with all the ideas that we had gathered, and providing the perfect casual, luxury getaway for ourselves and our guests.

Diana purchased this condo in 2004

Why Diana chose Akumal

Our little complex, La Sirena is special in that we have double the space that other properties in HMB. This allows us to have a wonderful large pool, as well as gardens and no crowds on our beach. The set up of our building is such that it feels more like attached houses, not condos.

What makes this condo unique

We love sitting anywhere in the condo and having a fabulous view and gardening on our grounds. We love to go snorkeling right out in our bay, seeing the baby fishes that have just hatched, and swimming with the turtles. And then in the evenings at dusk walking the beach watching the flocks of pelicans fly inland for the night, and then grilling out on our beach and watching the sun go down.

My husband and I have been visiting Akumal for over 10 years, and progressively fallen in love with the area. So we decided to find and buy our dream beach place, hence SeaScape! We love the tranquility and naturalness, all the colors of the Caribbean, being able to just step off the beach porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the reef creatures, and being lulled to sleep with the sound of the surf. The perfect place for our family to stay.

Everything about our stay - Seascape condo, the pool, the beautiful landscaped grounds, the location for snorkeling - we really enjoyed our five days here. Walking distance to Que Onda (became our favorite) and the little grocery store down the road. We went into Yal Ku twice to snorkel from the Half Moon Bay side. The condo - great to be on the ground level - walk right out the screened sitting area to the beach area. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. Rooms were nice, A/C is very quiet and efficient, beds are "very" comfy. We loved the stained glass accents and all the decorative touches - like a home away from home. The shower out front was nice for rinsing off sand and salt water - the large iguana living underneath the shower base made it "memorable" for our granddaughter. The staff onsite were always friendly and helpful. Wi-fi was good. We were able to catch some of the Olympics on tv. We had brought water shoes which are definitely needed in this area and to get to Yal Ku from the back side.

We took a taxi to Akumal Bay to eat and snorkel one afternoon and found it too crowded and noisy. My granddaughter and I were out snorkeling in an area where others were snorkeling and a man came swimming up and told us we had to go in towards shore. We don't know why....but we did as told. We were glad to taxi back to the quiet setting at La Sirena.

I would highly recommend staying here as couples or a family. These condos might be an issue for someone with mobility issues as there are different levels with steps and all tile floors.

Diana - the owner - was great to work with and answered all our questions ahead of time. We are so happy that she let us enjoy her home.

Perfect little spot of paradise.

We loved this little spot of paradise. Perfect for our little family of five. The condo was just as advertised. Everything we needed. Very well kept. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. The whole pace was thoughtfully equipped for all we needed to eat breakfast and lunch there every day. Snorkeling right out the porch door was amazing. We went out nearly every day. The condo is situated in a perfect location. Secluded yet close to many fun adventures. We snorkled Akumal Bay as well as visited Tulum and Cobá ruins. Also loved snorkeling at the Yal-Ku lagoon only a block away. Would recommend to friends and family as a great place to stay!

Great condo!!!!

Seascape is a beautiful condon. We stayed at the condo over New Years. Getting to the condo is a little chaotic; however totally worth it!!! The condo is near the end of the road which allows for quiet and privacy!!! Half moon bay is beautiful with great snorkeling. The condo is very well decorated with beautiful Mexican art. Both bedrooms have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms have nice large showers!!! I highly recommend this property for anyone who likes a beautiful view and tranquility!!!

Wonderful property

This is a beautiful condo and even nicer than the photos. It also is very well stocked with every single thing you could possibly need...well, except a washer and dryer. For that, you have to find a laundromat. But other than that, this place is well stocked. It's not just a rental property. The owner actually stays here regularly so it is stocked like a personal home. The beds are very comfortable, with memory foam toppers, which is HUGE for Mexico (Mexico is known for hard beds). The views are beautiful and having your own little beach is so nice. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance and a few more that a short drive away. Be aware that Half Moon Bay, where this condo is situated, is rocky and you need water shoes to protect yourself when entering the water here and it's not the best beach for a beach walk due to the rocks and slant of the beach. I suggest having a rental car and exploring the area, especially if you want to visit a sandy beach (TULUM). This is a nice area for those looking to really decompress and chill. There is a little town center a short drive away that is all of 3 blocks in size so if you are looking for a place with a lot of nightlife or activity this is not it. But if you are looking for quiet, relaxation and great snorkeling, you have found the perfect place. Owner Diana was wonderful to deal with. She was friendly and responsive and she has done a great job providing information for her guests.

Beautiful home with amazing views, lovely details, lush garden, easy beach access

We had high hopes for this condo and it still managed to exceed our expectations. From the moment you walk into the beautiful condo, you enjoy dramatic views of Akumal Bay from nearly every room. The condo is incredibly well designed so you can enjoy morning coffee or evening sunset on the screened in porch with full views of the Bay, listening to the waves and the palm trees. During the heat of the day, you can enjoy the views from the air conditioned living room, kitchen, dining area and master bedroom. The condo itself is also beautiful, full of colorful pottery, artwork and fabrics, with rich hardwood doors and lovely stone tiles. This condo absolutely feels like a home, one that the owner takes great joy in decorating and making welcoming without overdoing it. The pool was also lovely for swimming laps and just relaxing in, and the garden is beautiful and welcoming when you arrive. Finally, the onsite staff are very helpful and do provide daily cleaning service. We would not change a thing about this condo and hated to leave.

Our stay was perfect! We had an amazing time in Akumal. My children enjoyed every single day there; snorkeling and swimming with turtles. The swimming pool is great- overall experience was phenomenal!

So while you are close to everything you feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere because its very private and quieter.

All types of water sports are available, including deep sea fishing and swimming with dolphins. There are also many close by activities, Nature Parks, Hiking/Walking, and Museums. Being a center of strong ecological conservation, Akumal has incredible snorkeling and some of the best diving in the Caribbean, being on the Meso-American reef (2nd longest reef system in the world), With an established environmental center Centro Ecologica Akumal (CEA), you also have opportunities to various eco-tourism activities such as turtle monitoring.

In addition to the water sports and adventure parks, there are many culture activities, as our area has many Mayan ruins close by, the major ones being Coba, Tulum, Muyhuil, and Ek-Balam.

We truly are the center of a great vacation spot!
