Ubicada lejos de las multitudes en el extremo norte de Half Moon Bay, La Sirena es tranquila y pacífica. Algunas de las mejores vistas de la bahía están disponibles desde aquí. La propiedad La Sirena se centra alrededor de un patio cerrado con jardín. Los condominios de dos habitaciones disfrutan de una vista completa del océano al lado del mar y de una hermosa vista al jardín que da al patio interior. El patio del jardín se centra alrededor de una gran piscina que incluye un carril completo.



Sirena 13 es una unidad de tercer nivel (piso superior) con vista a la costa y al área de la playa. Los techos altos y un amplio plano de planta ayudan a crear una sensación de aire libre dentro de la unidad. Desde la entrada principal, llegará al espacio abierto que incluye un área de comedor con capacidad para cuatro, cocina muy grande con vista al mar y barra de desayuno y sala de estar principal. El área de estar hundida está a solo unos pasos del nivel de entrada principal, creando una vista al mar sin obstáculos de atrás hacia adelante de la unidad. La sala de estar está cómodamente amueblada con un sofá de sección incorporado y se enfría con un aire acondicionado mini-split grande y silencioso. Las puertas de cristal de la sala de estar hundida lo llevan a la terraza junto al océano, bien amueblada para disfrutar de la vista y la brisa. Este es un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de todo durante las primeras horas de la mañana y la tarde.



En la parte trasera de la unidad están los dos dormitorios. El dormitorio principal es fresco y tranquilo. Está amueblado con una cama King, disfruta de una terraza junto al jardín y baño privado. La habitación también está amueblada con cama king y tiene una terraza junto al jardín y baño privado. Ambas habitaciones disfrutan de colchones con pillow-top y se enfrían con silenciosos y eficientes aires acondicionados mini-split.

Awesome, quite out of the bustle of people. Floor to ceiling windows looking right onto the beach and ocean. Beautiful serene place for a quiet vacation. Rented a golf cart to get around. Swam with turtles in Akumal Bay. Very close walk to Yalku. Kitchen has everything needed, but make sure you stop for groceries on the way. Many good restaurants within easy walking distance.LOTS of stairs to the unit, so be prepared.

Estuvimos 3 noches y regresamos 2 noches adicionales, disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía. El apartamento estuvo muy limpio, tiene todo lo que se necesita toallas, artefactos de cocina, aire acondicionado, las camas son firmes y la piscina es perfecta para pasar un rato después de un día de actividades. El lugar donde está es ideal porque el sargazo no se posa frente al condominio y no llega el olor. Cerca del apartamento hay buenos restaurantes Jungle Café, La Buena Vida y Turtle Bay Bakery que se consigue buena comida. También hay un grocery que hace un pan delicioso. Pasamos unos días muy relajados. Gracias a Akumal Direct por recomendarnos este lugar.

This is a testimony to how over the years, I have enjoyed and appreciated the services and professionalism of these fine managers. La Sirena is lovey and a breath of fresh air. It was wonderful to sleep listening to the sea, and enjoying the panoramic view from sunrise to sunset. If you are a guest with mobility issues, this might not be a unit for you to consider. It is 38 steps up to get to this magical nest in the sky. The pool is magnificent, and the air circulation caused by sea breezes makes this unit fresh and delightful.

Fantastic Getaway

The condo was everything the listing said. Definitely not a party atmosphere very quiet town. Property manager responded to my emails promptly and housekeeping was on point. Definitely recommend.

Spectacular View at La Sirena Condo #13

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing week in March (18-25) at the condo. The location is spectacular, the access to snorkeling right out front was key! We had a couple of maintenance issues pop up during our stay, and Francesca and her team were very quick to fix them and we had no complaints. La Sirena condos are at the very end of Half Moon Bay, about one mile from Akumal beach activities. The location requires either a car, golf cart or bike to get to/from Akumal central. There were bikes at La Sirena but unfortunately they were not included in the price of the unit. An additional $8 (US) per bike, per day was required. As feedback for the property management, I would have liked to see these bikes offered as complimentary rentals included in the weekly rental price. That aside, we really enjoyed our week, and the fact that housekeeping kept our 5 gallon fresh water dispenser stocked all week was so essential!

Great location on the beach!

This condo is in a quiet area, at the end of the road. Right across the street from a national guard post, so we all felt super safe all week! The condo is perfect! The sound of the waves heard all day long, plus balconies off both bedrooms. The pool is great for cooling off and the snorkeling right off the beach was awesome! We saw lots of fish, a ray, and lots of coral. Renting bikes down the street made it really easy to get around and there are restaurants and convenience stores close by as well. We’ll definitely come back!

Could be perfect

There are many positives about this apartment block. The location is fabulous, right on the coastline with wonderful views, the gardens are beautiful, the pool area is lovely, the sand/sunbathing area is great and all outdoor areas are well maintained. There is a great restaurant nearby; AK served the best, healthiest tacos of our entire trip so far (this was our fourth location in Mexico). However, there were aspects that we found disappointing. We felt the apartment was dated and tired. We did contact the management company and, in fairness to them, they sent someone to see us who resolved some of our issues. For instance new bathroom towels and a working coffee maker were provided. We would have appreciated a house manual as, for example, it took us ages to find the Wi-Fi code which was stuck to the freezer door! Hopefully the company will find our feedback useful as, with very little expenditure, this apartment could be fantastic.

Beautiful stay at Halfmoon Bay

We had a great time in Akumal at La Sirena Condos. Everyone in the complex was friendly and helpful, and Kilo was so sweet to be on guard. We did have hot water issues as has been mentioned in other reviews. Daily contact and problem solving by the condo owners and maintenance team finally had it fixed for our second week. Hopefully, it will remain fixed for others now! The condo is well stocked, the linens are tired but the place is clean and comfortable. We still had to pin up a sheet over the front bedroom window for privacy even though we were told that privacy curtains had been installed. Yes, but just little side panels! The garden and pool area is beautiful, well maintained and so relaxing for when it is too windy to be in the ocean. We loved the snorkeling right off the beach and Yal Kul is just around the corner! Make sure to visit Chino at AK across the street and try the Tulum turtle beer. La Lunita was beautiful for the full moon. It was a fun time and wish we could have stayed longer!

Great View But Cold Showers with no pressure

The condo was clean, except for the floors. There was always water and I couldn't believe it, maid service. The view is spectacular! It was easy to contact the admin person. My biggest complaint when you snorkel and swim every day was the total lack of water pressure and no warm water.

Felt like a secret portal to relaxation

Wonderfully comfortable 2 bed 2 bath with amazing views. My wife and I absolutely loved the unit, the location and the neighborhood. It was like a retreat, yet very close to good restaurants, coffee place and Snorkling.

Almost perfect!

4.5 stars. Great location for our purposes. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice and the surrounding garden area is well cared for and landscaped beautifully. Beach area is great. Condo was clean and furnished nicely. Comfortable king bed (we didn’t use the second one). Kitchen is well equipped. Linens and towels are slightly worn, but serviceable. Our only issue was the water pressure in both bathrooms was VERY VERY low (sinks and showers). We contacted management company and they sent maintenance that same day, but could not resolve. It also takes a VERY LONG time for hot water to reach the master shower. Mostly an annoyance, but should be investigated further. Management company indicated they planned to notify the owners.

Beautiful ocean-side condo!

Third floor views looking out on palm trees against the ocean could not be more idyllic. The beach area with thatched huts and lounge chairs is perfect and then the bay is really fantastic for snorkeling. Property is at the very northern end of half-moon bay but we were just fine with that.

Great apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just came back from 9 days at La Sirena (#13). The property is very nice, very clean & well-maintained. It is in an awesome location for snorkeling and diving. The Yel-ku lagoon is literally across the street (like a 3 min walk) and the residence's beach has some phenomenal snorkeling itself.The area is also very safe & quiet. About 4-5 restaurants were walking distance, with another 3-4 2km (1.5 mile) away. Most of them really good, though with US-level prices. The apartment itself is quite roomy and very nicely decorated, offering fantastic views. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that a lot of "essentials" were provided, some probably left by previous guests: soap, shower gel, shampoo, kitchen stuff like salt, spices, etc. We did our part and added olive oil, vinegar, etc.The king-size beds have great mattresses and good pillows. Cleaning lady came everyday and addressed all our requests (fresh bedsheets & towels mid-stay, etc.)What's missing:- a washer / dryer: for a long-ish stay like ours, this was a bit more than an annoyance. While we were able to have our laundry done in the pueblo, the area is so humid that nothing, absolutely nothing, dries: towels, swimsuits, etc. stayed wet all the time. Sunny weather would have helped but unfortunately we had about 7 days of rain out of 9. The kitchen also lacks a dishwasher — not a huge deal but prepare to wash a lot of dishes manually if you eat a lot at home. Last thing: the master bedroom is separated from the living room by ... glass windows + light sheets. So don't expect much privacy there. The adjoining bathroom has also a translucent glass wall, so even less privacy. Again, not a huge thing but some people might be a bit disturbed by what is a but unusual. All in all: yes, I would recommend to a friend, with the caveats above.

Hidden Gem in Akumal

Enjoyed a quiet week in Akumal enjoying all the Half Moon Bay area has to offer. We rested and read by the sea, snorkeled in the bay and at the beautiful lagoon a 5 minute walk from the property and wonderful restaurants just up the road, accessed by foot or a short drive away. Couldn’t have been happier with the condo, location and helpful property management team.

Family Stay in Akumal

The property is located in a very nice gated community with a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. There is no sand beach right in front of the condo, but one can easily access close by other sand beaches within the gated community. You can still swim or snorkel in front of the condo, but protective swim shoes are definitely recommended. The condo was very clean and the view of the sea from the living room and front balcony is amazing. We had a great time!
