Located at the base of the mountain in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Jay, there’s no better spot in the area. Six minutes to Jay Peak Resort and only one minute from the Jay Country Store and Jay Village Inn (the area’s two go-to spots), this is the prime location for families visiting the area.

Modern yet cozy, the house offers Vermont charm coupled with contemporary furnishing. Two large movie-theater style couches, surrounding a pellet stove, nest of blankets and shag pillows, adds an unparalleled cozy touch. There’s a full kitchen with dishwasher, high-end pots and pans, spices and everything you’ll need to prepare a great meal. There’s also a spacious yard (that you can snowshoe or hike right out of!) along with a back deck, Weber grill, covered front porch, and outdoor fire-pit.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably and is equipped with all rental essentials including a Harman pellet stove, the fastest wi-fi, cable via a 70” smart TV, top-of the line coffee machine, dartboard, Tornado foosball table, ping pong table, pool table, pinball machine, washer/dryer, iron, blow dryer, etc.

It is suited for families and young children offering everything from kids’ utensils, safety gates, a booster seat, toddler blow up mattress, pack n’ play and a variety of toys and games. A first floor bedroom and 3/4 bath also accommodates the elderly who may not want to climb stairs to the second floor.

We pride ourselves in cleanliness and wash all throw blankets and duvet covers following guests. This (sadly!) is not a common practice.

Terrific House

Everything as described!

"We really like our stay at this property. The communication with the owners was really easy and they were really quick to answer to any questions we had. Our arrival was easy. The property was equipped as described and very well kept. It is very well located, near the Jay Peak Resort. The only downfall is that the 5th bed was a sofa bed and we couldn't find the linens for it. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property!"

Amazing ski house

This is our second year at this amazing place - the location is wonderful and the house couldn't be more perfect. The house is immaculate, it's very tastfully decorated and all the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with everthing you could possibly need for cooking and entertaining. And the downstairs game room was a huge hit with our family this year. Nicole and Ryan are very responsive, welcoming and gracious hosts. Thank you for making our stay terrific - we all look forward to returning next year! The McDonalds

Great Jay location!

This house is within 4 miles of Jay Peak. It has everything you need. The house is clean, well furnished and easily accommodated our group of 9. There was something for everyone with toys for little kids (like books, puzzles, trucks) and toys for big kids (like a pool table, foosball and a sweet pinball machine). The kitchen had all the items we needed and the owners were nice enough to leave us some maple syrup which is of course a must for any trip to Vermont. Having access to an oversized attached garage was just what we needed to keep our vehicles clean as the snow fell overnight. Even better the drive was plowed the next day. We would recommend this place to any group looking for a comfortable place to stay outside the resort.

Fabulous home. Outstanding experience. Loved it!

This is a stunning home. The most beautiful we have rented so far. Beautifully decorated. Immaculately clean. Comfortable. Fun [basement games room was a huge hit and we played many hours of board games in front of the pellet stove in the living room]. -Nicole and Ryan are excellent communicators - answering our questions quickly and with a genuine eagerness that our experience in their home be amazing. - We were grateful of the many thoughtful touches. A welcome note and basket, toiletries etc. Feels like a high-end hotel. - The kitchen is well stocked, well organised and super clean. Nicole contacted us ahead of time offering a range of high-end appliances. Cooking in this home is a joy. - Location is excellent. 12 min walk to a good store and restaurant. 10mins drive to skiing/waterpark. -We were grateful to have a garage during a winter snow storm. We have three adult children and were so happy to find four beautifully appointed bedrooms [3 on upper floor, one on lower floor] and three full bathrooms [1 ensuite to master]. The set-up could not have been more perfect for our family. A highlight of our trip was our time in this home. So well located yet in the middle of the woods. A winter wonderland outside and a cosy, lovely environment inside. Thank you Nicole and Ryan.

Family ski vacation

Beautiful house in a quiet and relaxing location, just a few minutes from the slopes (ski passes are a nice plus). Great place for a family vacation! Owners are very helpful, always making sure everything is ok.

Perfect

Ryan and Nicole were very accommodating to my group for our trip to Jay. They had plenty of towels and sheets ready and the house was in such great shape. The wood pellet stove was very convenient and really heated the place up quick. The Jay country store is literally walking distance so that was a huge plus for anything we needed to pick up quickly. Lastly, Jay Peak was only a 10 minute drive so that was incredible! All in all this house was awesome. Thank you Nicole and Ryan for making it so good.

Christmas Ski Trip

This year, my family wanted to ski at Jay Peak for Christmas. We thought this property would fit our large group (from Connecticut, Florida & Georgia) and it far exceeded our expectations. It was roomy, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Ryan and Nicole were in frequent contact to make sure our stay was perfect. Per our request, they even added some festive decorations and a Christmas tree! It was a quick, easy commute to Jay Peak and to other points of interest (like the Jay Country Store). The basement had a bunch of fun activities (pool table, foosball, pinball). The house ended up being as memorable as the skiing (and it was the 1st time skiing for many).

Perfect for pre-ski and apres ski!

I reserved this house for an annual trip with friends over Superbowl weekend. The house was very appealing because we had two people who couldn't ski and we wanted a space that had more to offer than beds and a kitchen. Everyone felt the house was welcoming and comfortable - from the garage parking (we didn't realize what we are missing out on in Boston!) and the snack basket to the warm stove in the living room and cozy beds. Nicole and Ryan were very thoughtful and they were extremely responsive to any questions before, during and after our stay. My only complaint (not at all towards our host or the place) was that there was almost four feet of snow outside and we were too tired from skiing in fresh powder to try and dig out the grill. Thank you both for hosting our group - we truly enjoyed ourselves both on and off the mountain! We hope you are open to hosting us again soon!

Outstanding property - Met all of our needs!

We rented to specifically ski at Jay because it's our three adult children's favorite mountain in VT. This property met all of our needs and then some for our four night stay. The owners were awesome to deal with from the point of making the reservation to promptly refunding our damage deposit. All five from our family came with two additional friends of our children. The home afforded more than enough room for all seven adults. Nearly every detail is covered here including a high end coffee maker which proved to be a huge hit with us and a two-car garage with extra high doors to accommodate two SUV's, one with a rooftop carrier and rear hitch carrier (This was very pleasing given that it snowed two nights while there). Located in a quiet neighborhood, the home is only a short four-mile drive from the mountain and probably less than a mile from the Jay Country Store (A must visit!). We will definitely stay again.

One of the best vacation rental experiences I've had.

This house is cozy, charming, impeccably decorated, super close to Jay Peak, and the owners truly made us feel welcome. Every year I travel to a new ski destination with a group of 4-5 couples and this rental was one of the best. We entered the house to be greeted with a welcome package from the owners containing various treats and a handwritten note. The kitchen was well-stocked, we enjoyed the game room in the basement, and the two free lift tickets were a huge perk. Nicole and Ryan were flexible with our check-in time and were extremely accessible both prior to and during our stay any time that I had a question. If I'm ever in the Jay, VT area again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing house near Jay Peak

We were in Jay, VT for a hockey tournament. This house couldn't have been more perfect. 4 beds / 3 baths with plenty of living space and an awesome game room / basement perfect for kids. The house was immaculate with comfortable beds and plenty of cookware, glassware, and linens for a large crowd. We would definitely stay here again. One thing to note upon arrival, make sure you have the address and door code written down because cell service is pretty spotty until you connect to their wifi. It took us a few tries to pull up the homeaway app.

Great location, better rental

The house is beautiful and the location is great. Nice big kitchen with a large farmhouse table, 4 bedrooms. Only 0.5 miles from the Jay Village Inn & Restaurant and the Jay Country store, while also being an 8 minute drive to Jay Peak. This rental was everything we could have hoped for.

Great house in the perfect location near Jay Peak Resort

We stayed 3 nights during Presidents week break and we were very pleased with our stay. The house is very clean, has everything you could possibly need, and it's very spacious. Each of my 3 boys had his own bedroom. Great amenities, with ping-pong in the basement. In addition to regular heating, a pellet stove keeps downstairs very warm and cozy. Best of all, it's very conveniently located. 5 min drive to Jay Peak, 2 min drive to the country store, town restaurant and gas station. Perfect for getting quick food/drinks essentials. Great perk (do not overlook this): 2 daily RFID adult lift-ticket cards are included for each day of your stay. You can't beat that! The longer you stay, the more you save. Nicole and Ryan will ensure your stay is pleasurable and will answer any questions you have promptly, to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. Strongly recommended...
