The place was so cute. Great neighbood! Great location as we were near everywhere we wanted to visit. The only negative was it was a little dry inside, and there must of been pets in the house before use so we had stuffy noses. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back!

House smelled so bad we had to move to a local hotel.

Really only one workable bathroom, and house smelled very bad.

Definitely a lived in property, had a stale smell, closet doors broken and a lot of flies for some reason. Inside cabinets smelt awful and there were dead bugs in the dryer. The hosts were quick to respond. Everything was i working order and surfaces and beds were clean though we were disappointed at there being only one ac on the top floor. It was near by all things in Lincoln the enclosed porch was great but the yard was unkempt and dirty. For the price we were not super impressed.

Perfect base camp for a hiking weekend

This A-frame was a great spot for a hiking weekend with a friend and our dogs. It's on a nice quiet dirt road that was very dog friendly. The inside was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great Weekend!

Stayed Thursday through Monday with a group of friends for a nearby event. Location was perfect, cabin had everything we needed and was very spacious for all of us to spread out and relax. Guest book was hilarious and really appreciated the binder with area info and brochures for activities to plan our downtime. Bedroom with the barn door was my favorite!

Great location! Better experience!

We loved this getaway spot. It was convenient to almost everything. . It was an easy drive to North Conway and the surrounding areas. This property is great for adults who don’t mind steep stairs . It is big enough for a few couples and family. Lots of space found in this house. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. In fact everything needed for a quiet weekend or a busy week with right there for you to use. We were definitely surprised at the location. Most importantly it was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town and close enough for some solitude. No doubt that we will keep this cottage in mind for our next visit to North Conway.

Nice ski cabin

Enjoyed our stay at the chalet, perfect for ski get away if you like the real cabin experience. We gathered in the den/dining area every evening for family time and to unwind after long day on slopes next to wood stove. My only complaint is the owners could upgrade their cable TV set-up. Does not have any of the good basic cable channels such as ESPN. Missed college football playoffs.

Why was this excepted on VRBO

Location was great, but it went downhill after that. Very dark place, the odors you had to deal with musty, and an odor that smelled like there were dead animals in walls or foundation. The owner tried to cover it up with air freshener and candles. Did not work. Unit was very outdated. Trying to work on it while renting, and very high price for what it looked like. The stairs to go upstairs very steep and hard to get up. I could continue but I won't, would never rent again.

Wonderful time perfect location!!! we came up for Storyland and Fryeburg Fair and this location could not have been more perfect. The house was great very cozy!!!

As expected

My experience with this property was good almost everything listed was there. Great little chalet with a good outdoor feel and experience. Only thing i would say needs some attention is the back deck needs to be renewed and the sliding doors as well.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Nothing fancy and everything you need and more. Three comfortable queen beds in three rooms. Very steep stairs almost like a ladder, fine for young, agile people and pets. Loved bringing the dog. Loved the big table for playing games. Netflix and other services provided. Good internet. N8ce central location but in the woods. Appreciated having the place to ourselves without the owner hovering over us like has happened with other Conway rentals. Not for people who dislike clutter, or need everything in perfect repair or who are picky or pristine, but if you are chill, love unique experiences, or forgot anything like 3 kinds of birthday candles or two kinds of coffee you are good to go. Excited to have a falcor sighting as we were packing to go. Would love to come back again!

Quaint A Frame with good amenities

It is exactly as stated. A great value for for the area. 3 good sized bedrooms for an A frame house. Recent remodel of bathrooms and one of the bedrooms. My only complaint would be the low ceilings. I am 6ft2 and it was a close fit for me. Wouldn't recommend for anyone over 6ft4. Otherwise would rent again. Hope to this ski season.

Property needs maintenance

Location was great, 10 minutes to town, 20 to hiking. The inside was clean. The property needs some serious maintenance. None of the windows open, the inside smells really musty, half the lights don’t work, and the grounds of the property need to be raked. It’s a great place if you’re just going to sleep but if you’re expecting somewhere to gather and stay all weekend I’d pick somewhere else.

My wife and I met in Conway skiing and bought this house when we were in our 20s. We have been bringing our friends and kids up here for the last 34 years to go skiing and fishing on the lake. Perfect place to get away from it all on a trip with family and friends.
