Waterfront Beach Home in Beautiful Quonochontaug, Rhode Island

Come and enjoy the lovely Rhode Island coast for your summer retreat. Wonderful views and fun times await during your stay at our cottage in Quonochontaug, Rhode Island. Located on three acres, just steps away from the beautiful , private, East Beach ( QEBA ). While here you can take in all of the charm and beauty this very special area has to offer. Most of all, people come for the gorgeous beach. You can use the QEBA private beach parking passes, or make it in a three minute walk. Enjoy a refreshing outdoor shower after a day of fun. This is a great area for family vacations or romantic getaways. We have a wonderful view of Block island, which is a short ferry ride away for a great day of island hoping around on their rental scooters.
We are close to wonderful restaurants, and many courses for golf lovers, including the very exclusive Shelter Harbor Country Club.
We are about 30 minutes to casinos, Historic Newport, and around 15 minutes to Watch Hill, which offers a number of wonderful shops and a beautiful harbor.
In the larger local ponds or at the Quonnie Breachway, you can go clamming, or fishing, or boating, for a real New England shore experience. These are but a few minutes drive ( a mile or less ). Some people will bring their kayaks, or canoes to explore all of the natural beauty the area offers.

Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful stay here. The home is well maintained and clean. And it was very comfortable. It's a short and pleasant walk to the beach. The owner is very nice and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Scott was a very attentive 5-star host. The beach house had that perfect vibe. Quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing. Quonnie beach is private so we had lots of space. I would definitely rent this place again.

Great location

We just had our Family’s yearly vacation here. The location is great. House was clean and comfortable. Beach is a short walk down the road and very pleasant. Only disappointed was in one of the pictures describing the property. My son was looking forward to fish the pond at the edge of the property but the grasses were overgrown and there was no way to get to the water or even see it. Besides that, we are looking forward to our next stay.

Wonderful Quonnie vacation spot

We’ve had a wonderful time at this property for several years in a row now. The house is located 5 minutes from the beach. The house is as advertised, clean, organized, and with good amenities. One of the best parts of the property has been the responsive and helpfulness of the owners. Scott has been available at basically all hours of the day to talk or help whenever we had a question about something. Great views of the pond. If you like the beach and the Quonnie neighborhood, this is an excellent vacation spot!

This was our second summer staying at Scott’s house. The location is absolutely perfect, short walk to the beach and neighborhood is beautiful. The space is perfect for our family of four. Scott is very accommodating and super responsive to any of our questions. We can’t wait to stay again next summer.

Quonnie Perfection

My family has been coming to this area for over 50 years. Ironically, my family rented this some cottage 53 years ago! It certainly has had a major upgrade since then! The space was perfect for the three generations of my family who spent time together during our beach vacation. Beds were very comfortable and there was space for all of (and our dog!) to spread out. The outside shower was a delight and the gas grill was used frequently. The view is amazing and the proximity to the beach was perfect. Scott was easy to work with and very responsive. My family made many special memories during our time in Quonnie and are already planning our return.

Great week in Quonnie

Had such a great stay! Thank you Scott and Amy for sharing your home. The house was just as shown in pics and we found it to be so comfortable and well-equipped, whether hanging out or cooking. Loved: walking to the beach (QEBA is arguably one of the best in RI), evening neighborhood strolls, serene pond views, summer corn from the farm on West Beach Road, and the outdoor shower. Hearing the ocean waves at night was an unexpected delight!

Great Location.

Quonny is beautiful, a really lovely area! House was pretty much as advertised, but in need of some TLC. Owner was pleasant to deal with, and accommodating to our initial concerns.

Beach vacation

Scott and Amy are wonderful hosts. They were easy to get in touch with and wanted to do all they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The beach was great and the kids could ride bikes throughout the neighborhood.
