The Cottage is self-contained with charming porches, centrally located to a multitude of things to do and offers an unequaled experience of the best of country living with all the creature comforts including a pool!

Stay busy doing and learning for days OR do nothing and return home completely relaxed.


PET POLICY: Pets are welcome under our family and farm conditions for a flat fee of $100/stay for the 1st pet ( $50 for each additional pet). We want all our guests (2 and 4 legged) to have a wonderful experience and so we ask that any pets that you bring with you MUST be other pet and people friendly!!! That means they do not growl, bare their teeth or bite others. If they have a need to protect you in this manner, they will not enjoy their stay" please find them other accommodations. In addition, they should be PEST FREE and HOUSE BROKEN. I they have a desire to get on furniture, please bring a cover. Thank you.

The Farm Cottage and Aunt Judy's House are each self- contained with charming porches and close enough to accommodate a joint gathering of family and friends while situated in a manner that provides wonderful privacy for two separate sets of guests. Reserve one or both: The Cottage sleeps 8 with 3 baths and AJ's place sleeps 4 with 2 sleeping areas and 2 full baths.

Family Adventure!: Camp out, roast marshmallows, explore the fields and woods, identify constellations stay on the deck and spot deer or turkey. It will be unforgettable. The greatest challenge will be getting everyone back in the car when it is time to leave.
Depending on the season, you can sled, hike, swim, fish, collect leaves or nuts, or a build a dam in the creek.
Nearby, you can hike Old Rag, swim in a mountain pool, ski at Wintergreen or Massanutten, or explore the Luray Caverns. LIKE HISTORY? Presidential homes, Civil War Battlefields, local museums await your visit.
Or maybe dining and wineries are your thing....too many to mention...Excellent!!
