Beautifully renovated 2 bedroom unit is one of the top rated units at Kamaole Sands. Fully furnished, equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning. There is so much to do on the island of Maui, come visit the pristine beaches, tropical forests, and the alpine beauty of Haleakala. You will be blessed by all that Maui has to offer.

A top floor unit makes this one of the most desirable units at the Kamaole Sands complex. Building 6 has a great view of the pool and gardens with no street noise. Our unit is completely remodeled, new kitchen open on both ends with granite counters, cherry cabinets, and brand new appliances. New bathrooms, were just completed in June 2025, tile floors and new carpeting gives you a fresh feel. Our unit is maintained by our private cleaning person and is always immaculate and clean. Upstairs loft features queen bed and full bathroom. Downstairs bedroom has two twins, which can be converted into one king, and 40" flat screen tv, dvd and stereo system. Another full bath on the main level, with a brand new queen sofa bed in living room. New furniture and entertainment center with 56 inch flat screen smart tv makes this unit a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped, from bbg utensils to rice cooker, and utensils and pots are checked every 6 months and replaced as needed. You can be assured that you will have everything that you need during your stay. Our reviews speak to the completeness of our unit.

There is a great beach (Kamaole 3) across the street for whale watching, snorkeling, swimming, and boogie boards, and a favorite spot to watch the sunset. Great for young children. One block from the Kihei boat harbor for all ocean activities.

Kamaole Sands is a well maintained complex and the setting is lush tropical. Brand new elevator zips you up to the fourth floor in 7 seconds from the parking lot. Kihei is the drier side of the island, rain is rare. Views of the ocean and the pool from this top story unit in building 6 are the reason you come to Hawaii.

Very nice condo! Very clean and organized, and nice amenities in great condition. We primarily stay at Kamaole Sands, and this is one of the nicest units weā€™ve stayed at there. Communication with the owner was great as well. Absolute pleasure to stay in!

Great place for a family on Maui!

Family of 5, lots of moving parts and pieces as usual and this could not have been a better choice. I would recommend this to any family looking for a relaxing and family friendly place to call home while enjoying Maui. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

Great family destination!

Kamaole Sands and our hosts completely exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. This facility is very family-friendly so there were plenty of other children for our kids to play with in the pool area and at the beach. Our hosts provided a very comfortable and accommodating unit with great amenities for cooking our own meals and enjoying beach life! We hope to be back next year!

10 days on Maui!

We have stayed at the Kamaole Sands in several different units over the years and just love this place! This visit we had our daughter, son in law and 5yr grandson, so needed a bigger unit than when just us 2. Your place was perfect! It was so very well maintained as our the grounds & pool area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. The condo was outfitted well and the property has plenty of amenities. If the pool is not your thing, the beach is just across the street. I would have liked the air conditioning to be more robust, especially in the loft but overall it got the job done.

Maui Vacation

It was great. We enjoyed the amenities at the Kamaole Sands. Great Island. Lots to do. Friendly people. Everything is expensive than normal. Loaf of bread $10 US. Otherwise everything else was good. We probably be back in couple of years. Thx

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean and comfy. The lanai is above the swimming pool, which was a bit noisy some evenings, but we also had the lanai doors open at all times to feel the breeze. It was pleasurable during hulu Wednesdays, when Anthony Pfluke played live with three hulu dancers. He has a beautiful voice, very memorable. I found him on šŸŽ music, and am looking forward to listening to him! One thing to note, we did have to buy extra paper products. The pool guy shows up daily to clean and open the pool! Very friendly.

Wonderful condo with many amenities!

Beautifully appointed condo with wonderful view of pool, landscape and ocean from small balcony. The beautiful property is meticulously maintained, top-end BBQs cleaned daily, 3 pickleball and 2 tennis courts, short walk to beach, well lit walkways, garbage chute & recycling, etc... Condo has EVERYTHING that you need including garburator, beach chairs, boogie boards, spices, coolers, freezer packs, storage containers & bags, utensils, lots of cutlery & dishes, supplies and fine appliances. Very clean and comfortable (even the pullout couch). Air conditioning works well. Friendly people at check-in desk. Only glitch was that VRBO did not provide us with the door code to our condo when we arrived. Owners promptly replied to messages and provided advice to our requests. We highly recommend this condo and would certainly stay here again!

Nice place. Clean. 4th floor. Balcony with Pool and Ocean View. Beds were comfortable. Good amenities. Even had beach stuff. Pool, two hot tubs, and a little gym too. There was a snafu with the door code that a phone call fixed. And there was also an unexpected 25 daily resort fee. But walk across the street to a nice little beach, then hit the hot tub afterwards and ahh...

Very comfortable Unit

Unit was very clean and supplied with all the usual vacation necessities. The air conditioning was especially nice since the weather was fairly hot. Beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity.

Amazing stay!!!!

Our familyā€™s stay here was amazing!!!! The unit had absolutely everything that we could think of. The property owners did a great job communicating with us. The resort has a beautiful pool, hot tubs, ping pong, foosball, and a gym. The location was fantastic as it was walking distance to so much Kihei has to offer. We had a wonderful time and canā€™t wait to come back!

Everything we hoped for!

This was not our first stay in the Kamaole Sands condo complex, but it was our best. The unit is amazing. It's extremely clean and updated. All electronics worked perfectly including the fast internet. We loved that there was an entire set of "kids dishes". Everything was provided including towels, boogie boards, chairs, sand toys etc. We could not have asked for a better spot overlooking the pool with an ocean view. We will likely try to stay in this unit for our next visit!

Fantastic location and property

We really enjoyed our stay at Paul and Lynnā€™s place in Kihei. Ideal location for beaches and all activities. Easy access to everything around South Maui. Great pool and lovely grounds. The unit was very clean, incredibly well stocked and comfortable for our family of 5. My 13 yr old son said it was the most comfortable pullout heā€™s ever slept on! Highly recommend for your next stay in Kihei!!

We owned a construction company in the Lake Tahoe area, and just retired in 2020, which allows us to come over twice a year and keep the unit upgraded and refreshed. Having lived and worked in a ski resort environment for 45 years, we understand what visitors are expecting when they go on vacation and the importance of keeping our unit well maintained. We are former distributors for a Standup Paddleboard company, which we really enjoy doing while here on Maui.
