The owners have just repainted the entire condo and replaced all the carpeting with beautiful luxury plank vinyl in a soothing driftwood color. They also purchased a larger sleeper sofa with an upgraded gel mattress for comfort. (2022)

This condo has an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room all on the first floor - & pergo flooring throughout. As soon as you walk in you'll see the large glass sliders out onto the deck, where you will find a high top table and chairs to take advantage of the views! The living room has plenty of seating, a large TV, cable, Roku, and Wi-Fi, and a pull-out queen size sleeper sofa. The dining area seats four at the table and two at the bar. The kitchen has granite countertops, tile backsplash, and is fully equipped - all you have to do is bring your food! Both of the two bedrooms are upstairs. The primary bedroom has sliders out onto to your private deck and, again, incredible beach views. It also has a king-size bed, ceiling fan, TV/cable, and a master bathroom with granite countertops and tile. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a full bathroom right off the hall.

We also provide hairdryers, iron and ironing board, a washer dryer, and we supply a good amount of all the cleaning and household supplies. There is covered parking for two cars right underneath, and room for a third car too. The beach access is right next to the building, and it is a short one-minute walk to the closest outdoor pool.

When you stay with us at Ocean Dunes, you will have free access to three outdoor pools open in season and a fully equipped Rec Center open year round with an indoor heated pool. Whirlpool, sauna, gym, tennis courts, basketball court, shuffleboard court, and playground.

Activities close by include: the Kure Beach Pier, the Carolina Beach boardwalk, the NC Aquarium, the Fort Fisher Civil War museum, or hop the ferry and stroll around Southport. Kure Beach has a skateboard park and a disc golf course. The town park also has a new playground, tennis courts, and soccer field. You are 35 minutes from ILM airport and 30 minutes from downtown Wilmington.

Also, on our island is 2 grocery stores, Walgreens, CVS, numerous restaurants, pizza and ice cream shops, bars, and plenty of beach shopping. You'll never have to leave! Stroll the boardwalks and check out all the local shops. During the summer there is free live music outdoors, fireworks on Thursday nights, farmers markets on Saturday mornings, and Sunday night has free kids movies out at the lake!

We visit our property multiple times throughout the year and perform detailed cleaning, maintenance, and upgrades. This is one of the nicest oceanfront, two-bedroom condos you will find in Kure Beach! This is our home away from home, and you get to enjoy the benefits too. Stay here once, and we know you won't want to stay anywhere else in the area.
