We had such a great time here! The house was extremely clean. The beds are comfortable. It is very conveniently located to do all kinds of things in the Redwoods and along the coastline.

We loved the house and the location. We walked to the beach every night for the sunset and tide pooling. The house was exactly as listed. We would stay here again!

We had a very happy experience. The house is very nice and clean. We cooked a meal and found all the utensils we needed. It’s a very spacious house with lots of light and comfortable beds, plenty of towels and other amenities. The communication from the host was very clear snd helpful. I highly recommend choosing this place to stay..

We loved how close the property was to the ocean for sunsets! It was a perfect space for relaxing in-between our daily excursions to various hiking spots.

We are 4 older women who go to Crescent City (from Redding) twice a year for "coast time." We stayed at this house in May, and felt that it really fit us, and were thrilled to get it again for our Sept. time. It is beautiful, spacious, good back yard for the dog, and close to the beach for our walks. I am the oldest and a bit gimpy. The parking situation and entryway open floor space inside made it easier for me to get around. We hope it will be available for our visit next May!

We made a quick stop over in Crescent City on our way down the coast. The house was perfect for our needs. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Great place for children. Large front yard, very nice park/play ground /basketball court across the street. Kitchen had everything you needed. Overall just a very clean, relaxing house.

Property and location were great. The back yard and patio were actually really bad. None of the patio chairs were usable and the grass was infested with gophers and spiders. The house itself was perfect for us and our two Yorkies. The park across the street was nice. I recommend upgrading the lock system. The main entrance was key operated from a lock box. Basically anyone who had been there before could have made a copy of the key leaving them a very small chain from gaining access. I can guarantee that senior citizens like us would prefer a more robust (digital) system.

Great location! Comfortable beds, good showers with plenty of hot water. Plenty of towels and convenient washer and dryer. Love that there was not a lot of decor in the way- very minimalist vibe. Nice backyard with a patio. Highly recommend

After a snag upon arrival with a guest that had actually booked the room for the same dates next year but had been allowed inside and unpacked, things were resolved and cleaned up for us while we went to dinner. The house itself was clean and well-stocked with the typical staples. I did have to reboot the router to get the internet to work, but it was plenty fast for what we needed. The master bathroom was spacious and beautiful with an incredible shower but the vanity did not have the lighting my wife needed to get ready. The house is in a great location to enjoy the sunset and walks to the beach. Also in great proximity to the redwoods, the tide pools, Smith River, sandy beaches and great hiking. We really enjoyed our stay at the Taylor House.

We were 4 older women and a dog on a coast vacation. The house couldn't have been better situated or set up for our needs. We were impressed with the interior, the amenities...the space and backyard setup, and the parking. Close enough to Pebble Beach Dr to walk to the ocean. We want to go there again!

House was exactly as pictured and described. There was plenty of room and it is well stocked. It is close to the beach and very walkable. We would stay there again. We knew it had no air conditioning (common in the area but inconceivable to people from the southeast). When we first walked in, the house was very stuffy and I was worried we were going to be miserable. But with the windows open it didn’t take long to cool off and feel better. We had all the windows and sliders open during the day any time we were there. At night we didn’t want to keep the sliding doors open so we just used the provided fans and it was good.

We had a great vacation at this home. The location was perfect—close to the coast and just a short drive to beautiful trails in the Redwood forest. The house was very clean, and we really appreciated the heating in every room, especially given the cooler weather during our stay.
