Comforts of home. This midtown Condo is on Upper Level 2.5 flight of Stairs. Beautiful fully appointed open concept two bedroom, 1bath w/shower condo with views of the Chugach Mountain range. Bedroom one - queen size bed, sink and mirror. Bedroom two a new full size sleeper, bedroom two doubles as office/den. Private patio deck off the living room overlooks wooded area , condo greens and mountains. Patio is equipped with table, four chairs and electric grill for your enjoyment. Fully equipped kitchen, separate laundry room with full size washer/dryer. Five minute drive or 15 minute walk to the universities, hospitals bike, hiking trails and cross country ski trails. Ten minute drive from the Anchorage International Airport and coastal trail. Near restaurants, shopping, library, performing arts, movie theaters, corporate offices, downtown Anchorage and public transportation. A 25 minute drive along beautiful cook inlet, wetlands, world class down hill skiing and glaciers. An easy drive south to the Kenai river with world class salmon fishing,(check fishing regulations), Whittier and the Portage Glacier are just south. Or go north to Talkeetna or Denali. You can get views of Denali in Talkeetna. To learn about sighting things and places to go, I suggest you purchase a copy of the (Alaska Mile Post Magazine). It points out interest mile by mile in great detail. Also the free (Alaska App) for cell Phones is downloadable from app store. Take the time to figure it out.

Great place! Excellent communication. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities are helpful, comfortable furniture. Well located, just a few blocks off of the highway, so easy access to Anchorage and beyond. The collection of travel guides made it easier to plan our outings. Would stay there again if I return to Anchorage.

Nice place in good location

Alaska getaway

We stayed in Anchorage 11 days. We were comfortable with the windows open and fan running while we slept. Having access to a washer and dryer was wonderful.

Ideal place

The place was great for what I needed. Centrally located and convenient. Had all I needed for the month I was there. Only suggestion would be to add a second bed to the second bedroom instead of sofa bed.

First Trip to Alaska

This was our first trip to Alaska and the Condo was very close to everything. we only needed an uber to take us to our excursion locations. It was all very convenient. The condo was comfortable and perfect for the week spent there. We would definitely come back.

It was exactly what was stated. It was GREAT!

The property was clean, quiet, and allowed me to relax when I was in Anchorage. It was close to everything. It was on the third floor, so it was above everything, and I didn't even hear the traffic. I would stay here again over and over.

Perfect stay for our Alaskan getaway

We loved everything about this condo! The owner and condo manager were very accommodating. It was the perfect location for everywhere we needed to be while in Anchorage. We were within 10 minutes of everywhere it seemed. The condo was very clean upon arrival and was fully equipped with everything that we needed during our stay. It was peaceful with very little noise. We would most definitely stay here again if we ever get back to beautiful Anchorage area.

Great central location

Property was clean, property manager very nice. Was odd to be required to meet in person to sign paperwork with property manager after arrival. All that said she was very nice. Would have been nice to have hair dryer, but kitchen was stocked with all the basics. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend this place as long as you have a car, everything is a short drive away.

Great escape from the heat for these Texans

We enjoyed staying at this Tudor area apartment. Joy, the owner, and Darcy, the property manager were a delight to work with and the place is at a convenient location. We found everything as described, clean and in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable (including the sleeper) and the curtains and blinds allowed us to darken the rooms enough to be able to sleep despite the long daylight. There was also free parking available. All in all, we found this to be a great place and had a wonderfully restorative vacation.

Overall good

First, the good. This condo is nicely furnished and updated in some areas - bathroom and kitchen aren’t updated but are in good condition. Hard surface floors and furniture, are lovely in the living area and the in-unit, washer and dryer are great. It looks out on trees with a nice deck to enjoy it and its in a good location. Communication was great and immediate. The only negative, and this won’t stop us giving it another try in the future since other reviews didn’t have this problem, was that it was not well cleaned with some important areas completely missed. I ended up having to clean at 1 o’clock in the morning because we got in late. The manager was apologetic and provided a credit to compensate.

Anchorage trip.

We all enjoyed our stay though the sleeping arrangements were a little tight for 4 adults but fortunately 2 of them were young enough to adapt (We were told in advance). The Kitchen was well equipped and we prepared our hot breakfasts every day. The master bed was very comfortable and we liked the large walk-in closet. We found the internet was quite slow and thought the house had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival as we found fingernail clippings and paper receipts on the floor. despite the 2 minor negatives, I would recommend the property to people visiting Anchorage and would stay again.

PERFECTION!

My husband and I were celebrating 30 days in Alaska for our 30th wedding anniversary and the condo was our base for a multi faceted vacation. We were thrilled with the condominium! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and centrally located in a nice neighborhood. It was spacious, well decorated, and included a delightful balcony where we enjoyed our coffee on every morning. The neighbors were friendly but very quiet. The condominium was fully appointed including bath linens, sheets and towels, kitchen appliances and utensils and had a full laundry room. We enjoyed cooking complete meals in the kitchen, enjoy dinner around the dining room table or out on the balcony. The owners have been nothing short of fantastic and the contact person in Anchorage was extremely accommodating, friendly and efficient. We would recommend this condominium to anyone who is visiting the Alaska and we hope to be back soon

Wonderful experience

This was our first time using a rent-from-owner website and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the beginning Joy was very pleasant and answered all our questions prior to the start of our vacation. She was also accommodating to our travel plans. Our flight didn't arrive until midnight, so we couldn't meet with the property manager at the normal time. Joy made alternate arrangements for us. Upon our arrival, the place was clean and welcoming. Joy had provided a few grocery items which was a delightful surprise considering the time of our arrival. We were very comfortable in the condo. Our only disappointment was the fact that it was located on the third floor. My husband has a hard time walking up and down stairs. It would have been nice to have prior knowledge of its location. Our interactions with the property manager, Darcy, was also pleasing. Again, due to our travel plans, Darcy allowed us to have a later check-out time than normal. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Anchorage, Alaska

Comfortable, quiet, spacious

We would stay at this comfortable, quiet condo with lovely furnishings again. The pictures don't show the smart layout, spacious rooms and bedroom closet. Appreciated the bright kitchen light, dimmable dining area light fixture, office space, view, laundry and dishwasher.
