This is one of only a few luxury condos directly on the water, with stunning views of the ocean and right on the world-famous Malecon in downtown Puerto Vallarta. The location couldn't be any better: Restaurants, Bars and Shops, and many iconic places in Puerto Vallarta, all within a few minute's walking distance.
The building was one of the first luxury hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor Frequently stayed here when it was a hotel.

3rd Floor, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, laundry room, large oceanfront wrap-around terrace with panoramic views of the bay, city lights, and the Malecon. You also will enjoy the rooftop with sun chairs, umbrellas, dining tables, and chairs

This home is beautifully appointed and has everything you need, including wireless internet access, cable TV, Netflix, and stunning views of the bay, the Malecon, and the city.

Spot whales beyond the palms and crashing surf as sounds waft from a buzzing street. The living space flows through sliding glass doors to a wraparound deck with sublime views, pops of fresh color and quaint artifacts pepper the traditional styling.

Fishing and diving charters are just up the street. The old town, the Mercado, the beach, art galleries, the cathedral, and many of the best restaurants in town are all right outside your door. If you want to venture out a little further, you'll never wait more than two minutes for a cab or an Uber ride here. Feeling adventurous?

Your vacation experience is a combination of Mexican music, crashing waves, disco music, crowd applause, and general nightlife activity. If you are a light sleeper, use our Alexa Echo in both bedrooms for soothing white noise. Instructions are attached to the furniture in each bedroom. The blanket of white noise comes in handy, especially on weekends when there is a live salsa band from 10 PM to 1 AM in the restaurant two stories down. Or better yet, just join the fiesta!

We have significantly renovated the Condo. Please see the pictures towards the end of the photo series, with the new "look and feel" - Top modern furniture and electronics have been added!

Please note a few important rules:
1) Due to liability reasons, our guests cannot use the BBQ grill.

2) We have installed a Water Dispenser and offer the first 5-gallon tank free of charge. Additional tanks can be obtained from our local host, Angel for 100 Pesos

3) In line with VRBO rules, we can NOT accept third-party bookings, and only those registered and listed as guests are allowed to stay at Casa Luz

4) Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a penalty of $50 per person per night. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without a refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy (4 guests). A Ring Doorbell Cam is facing the exterior.

What can I say that other folks have not already said. Great host and an amazing location. Great communication from Patrik and Angel. Nightlife is lively and all you have to do is walk out the door and you are in it. Condo is extremely well equipped for everything you might need during your trip. Amazing sunset views, great food venders at night, and my favorite when in Puerto is the ice cream store La Michoacana just a few steps away. I’m already looking at possibly dates to return and with any luck, I will be able to secure Patrik’s home. Thank you Patrik and Angel.

Beautiful, clean space in the heart of the Malecon - we wanted for nothing as Patrick and Luz have everything covered, even noise cancelling fans and tequila! We have stayed in PV numerous times and Patrik’s condo has been our favourite. The view is breathtaking, the location is perfect and the condo is absolutely beautiful. Beyond our expectations. Patrik's place is beautiful, just as it looks in the pictures. The view is amazing and having the large doors that open all the way give it such an open feeling, with the ocean right below. The welcome postcard with the complimentary tequila was a very nice touch. Patrik is a wonderful host, responds very quickly and very helpful. The location is great, right on the Malecon in Centro close to many bars, restaurants, plus of course the ocean is right there and beach isn't far. The downside of being right on the Malecon and in the middle of things is the noise, so be prepared. Otherwise would highly recommend! (Merridy, 11/2018)
