MEILLEURE MAISON DE LAC FAMILIAL JAMAIS! Magnifique vue sur l'arriĂšre donne sur Green Mountain Reservoir et le Heeney Marina. La maison comprend trois chambres, une table de shuffleboard, un baby-foot, une table de ping-pong, des flĂ©chettes et une connexion Wi-Fi. Plan d'Ă©tage ouvert idĂ©al pour les escapades en famille et les vacances d'Ă©tĂ©. Grande chasse, pĂȘche, randonnĂ©e, sentiers de VTT, routes de campagne pittoresques et navigation de plaisance Ă  proximitĂ©. Belles vues et la faune. Foyer extĂ©rieur et foyer intĂ©rieur disponibles.
Il est Ă  moins de 2 heures Ă  l'ouest de Denver. Il y a tellement de choses Ă  faire, y compris la pĂȘche Ă  la mouche, la pĂȘche en lac et la grande randonnĂ©e allant de facile Ă  difficile. Le foyer extĂ©rieur est idĂ©al pour rĂŽtir des guimauves. Il y a des cerfs dans la cour presque tous les soirs, et un renard occasionnel peut ĂȘtre repĂ©rĂ©. Great location and activities

Great location, games, and water sports activities. Hosts very communicative. Home is tired looking with some deferred maintenance on both interior and exterior. Felt pricey at nearly 500/night for only one bathroom, eating off plastic plates and cups, and no dishwasher. Having to print and fill out a contract to not damage property seems a bit excessive given the current condition of the home.

Wonderful Escape

Great experience. Amazing views and beautiful serene nights by the fire overlooking the lake. Location is great and the house is fully stocked for fun times. We were sad to leave and will hopefully be back soon.

Amazing!

We can’t wait to go back! I don’t know who loved the shuffleboard more
 the kids or my husband!? The views are amazing and this cabin feels like home. There is a short walk to the lake where we rented a boat for the day. Thank you for opening your cabin up to us as we created a ton of family memories!

AMAZING LAKE VACATION

We had a great time at this family cabin!!! It was awesome to be so close to the boat dock and the views were unbelievable!!! We got all the Kokanee we could and even our pug was in heaven with all the dog toys!!! Thanks again for making this family trip a stress free time!!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Great getaway

This turned out to be a great space for our family of 6 (plus two dogs!). We really wanted a relaxing place that had options for the kids to stay busy but really unplug from normal life. From paddle boarding and cliff jumping to fishing, darts, and renting a pontoon boat one day it really was fun. There were some afternoon showers but nothing too bad. You cannot beat the view in the back sitting around the campfire every night. I think it also made the kids appreciate some of the conveniences like a dishwasher, garbage disposal and more than one bathroom that they take for granted at home!! None of that was a big deal though, we managed just fine. Thanks so much!!

Amazing

The house was perfect for what we were looking for, unplugging and quality family time. Hikes, the reservoir and the river are great. The house provided old school activities that we all enjoyed. Both the outside and inside fireplaces were utilized. The hosts were gracious and helpful. Check in/out was easy. We’ll be back.

Great place to get away from it all!

This was the quiet summer getaway we needed! Our kids loved the games, the hammock, and the deer that stopped by to visit. We loved the solitude, the easy walk to the marina, the fire pit, and the fresh air!

Heeney Mtn. Lake Cabin

My daughter, who is attending grad school in CA, usually likes to get away to the mountains when she is visiting. She also enjoys fishing so this was a perfect choice. We had lots of laughs and created many memories while out on a boat from the marina and all the things to do at the cabin. Shuffleboard and the hummers were my favorites. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great 3 days!

Peaceful Getaway in Heeney

The property was spotlessly clean and immaculate when we walked in - it's a comfortable, home like space that is warm and welcoming. Truly, all you need to bring is clothes and groceries, it's that thoughtfully and well stocked. The games were varied and amazing to have at our disposal, the space is very well laid out and cozy. The deer across the back lawn and the humming birds remind you that the home is somewhat remote. The whole family had an amazing time.

Quick mountain trip

We are Colorado Natives and have driven by Green Mountain Reservoir our whole lives when driving to Steamboat. Never did we think we'd stay here. Beautiful views from the cabin. Went to Cateract Lake and hiked it twice very pretty hike. Had our Husky with us. It was so nice to have a dog door and a little area for her to hang out whenever she wanted. That's the main reason we decided on this place. Deer in the yard every morning. I wished it had a screen door on the back door, or the porch was screened in like I think it was supposed to be. The Host was very kind as well.

Lake Escape for all

Taylor Cabin had every amenity we needed. The afternoons were hot so we stayed inside the cool house and played board games, ate great food, and of course I napped. The view, the hummingbirds, green mountain, and of course the star of the show the lake and night sky. Highly recommended.

Great place to unwind

My kids (7 and 10), our dog and I had a great time for nearly a week. The views can't be beat and there is plenty to do without even leaving the cabin. We spent most of the time playing ping ping, darts, suffleboard, fooseball, Wii, reading and watching movies. We had a couple fires in the firepit and used the fireplace one night when it was cool enough. We did go on a few short hikes and fished in the lake. It was a great place to unplug and enjoy each other. There is no cell service but the wifi was great and worked well for calls. Michael and Sarah were very communicative and the cabin was stocked with plenty of supplies so all we really needed to bring was clothing and food. We hope to come back sometime!

Peaceful late winter/early spring family getaway

We wanted a fun family getaway into the quiet mountains, and got it here! This place was great for the family with the shuffleboard, foosball, ping pong, and darts! We had a fire and roasted marshmallows, walked around the frozen lake, played in the snow, and went skiing too. Good old "off the grid" R&R for everyone, and Michael and Sarah were great hosts, giving detailed instructions and ideas, and checking in part way through. Thanks so much Taylor family!

We are AF Veterans that retired in Colorado to have fun in the Mountains. We love the outdoors and are a very active family. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do and ask that you take care of it as if it were your own, so we can continue to offer it for rent. We are using all of our VRBO money to make the cabin a better more accommodating place. Hopefully, next time you stay you will see the improvements over the years!

We love Summit County. We love skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking and anything outdoors. Once we discovered that there was a place available in a quiet community on a lake and within 45 minutes of the ski resorts we were in love. We bought the place and have enjoyed so many memories with our family and friends.

After a long day away from the hustle and bustle of the city (hiking, fishing, boating) enjoy the outdoor fire pit overlooking lake. Cabin includes full size Shuffleboard table, foozball, ping pong, darts, surround sound, local hikes, close to hunting, fun lake activities, great fishing. Drive without traffic to see the fall colors change and beautiful scenery. You will not regret staying off the beaten path in our personal paradise as you watch the deer, fox and humming birds in our back yard.
